I would say this was the most likely scenario.

That "nearmap image" on the previous page is a Google Earth image, you can even see the Google watermark over it. Nearmap just overlays google earth images to "fill in" the gaps for areas they don't cover (As already mentioned they only service Australia and the US.)

The new marked entry on this is down near the Australian Wildlife Experience, and is after vintage cars (as to get to the vintage cars you have to cross the creek). The "brown" number 8 section sitting separate to the rest of the park is the dreamworld eucalyptus tree farm and vintage cars location. This is the latest nearmap image (May) of the BB house, it seems like they went to an effort to go around the house when clearing and making the boundary fences so why would they suddenly demolish it now?

Why go through all the trouble of creating a detailed CG model like that and not actually "animate" it for the commercial. From the comments here it is hinted at that these will be the figures used for the "interactive elements" around the ride.

I would bet that there will be a large scale figure, similar to one in early concept art for the Doomsday Tower. The Doomsday character is already featured in the promotional material (website/park signage), so it would most likely be that version

If you read my comment you would see I stated a clearance checker for themeing that is yet to be added or still being made.

I'd say the spear is just another "clearance checker" - either for the riders legs or for additional themeing elements that are being made for that space.

You are allowed to line up with your glasses on, they will just place them in a basket and pass them through to the unload station for you.

Just a bit of a side note, Any physical passport application forms (collected from Aus Post) are changing as of tomorrow (July 1st), so any of these old forms will no longer be accepted for processing. But if you downloaded your forms online from the Government website your good to go!

The way I like to look at the changes (especially in Disney parks) is to imagine that the "new" ride is the original and the "old" ride was replacing it. Would anyone have been happy if the Frozen ride was there from the start and then replaced with the Maelstrom, I don't think so. A lot of people are just opposed to changes in Disney.

You probably saw the film set being constructed up the back of the Outback Spectacular paddocks (as seen in the Nearmap image below), which is most likely for the new Thor film that is due to start filming there soon.

To me the idea seems to be a bit disjointed as a standalone attraction. Perhaps if/when they build more attractions around and make it an "entertainment precinct" between the parks it will make more sense.

I'd say it is more of an "inverted" tree rather than upside down. It has "leaves" in the centre with "trunks/branches" coming off it.

I realise there is a big difference between 1 hundred million and hundreds of millions. The comment as pointed out by Theme Park Girl clearly shows 100,000,000s - the 's' clearly indicates a plural (no confusion), therefore a minimum of 200 million can be assumed from the comment as it is written. Although the comment may be and is probably incorrect, the writer may have meant over 100 million not necessarily "hundreds of millions".

Hundreds of millions of dollars in investments could indicate a new park? Although the announcement does state the investments for "Movie World" not VRTP in general.

I've mentioned it previously, but I would love to see the utilisation of digital projection and fog cannons in the final lift hill to simulate explosions like the latest refurb of Big Thunder at Disneyland.

The September school holidays is the most likely target for opening.
