Has luna park sydney pulled the plug on 2 classic rides

Not for another Ranger. As far as I know not many exist around the world anymore. Parts can be used for other things tho. -

That spot would be a very nice location. You are right. If it would be done that way then not many issues should exist. I just worry mainly about the upkeep that's all. Its something that needs weekly attention. Yes, a plaque needs attention also. A garden would be better as I am sure several times a memorial garden was mentioned. It's not that I worry the park cannot maintain it as such. It is the assholes who pluck flowers or branches off etc. -

While a garden bed does have that personal touch I worry about the upkeep of the garden bed and the damage that could occur. Unlike garden beds in cemeteries, those don't get visited as often as say one in a theme park. It is indeed a great idea for the garden bed. I just don't feel its the right fit as pointed out above. -
the problem is back when these first two incidents occurred peoples approaches to such things was rather "meh", They would have possibly tried to do it again in testing and it never occurred, Such like for QLD police. I know this is a bad thing to say but for a bit of long time luck played its part. Yes safety systems should have been upgraded and better training provided and heck better documentation should have been doe also. But that was never the case. The industry can and has learnt from this. It just takes time to prove it. Machines are machines. They need constant maintenance and upgrades to stay viable. Just like the airline industry do so with aircraft.

Luna Park Sydney does indeed have a plaque for the Ghost train tragedy. It is in a part of the park not many people go to but many can easily walk past. The plaque is tasteful while being heartwarming but also confronting to some. I believe this would be the best way to go. Does not need to be something bigger than an A4 piece of paper. That being said consent from all families would definitely be required. A garden idea while being nice could be somewhat complicated. -
They indeed tried for almost five days I believe. They caused a pump failure and all. But it wasn't enough to replicate that faithful day. It goes to show too many factors caused this incident. Without the proper safety measures (auto water sensors, cut-offs) it was always going to be hard to simulate.

That one time we acted as guest service to that family when they got lost.

Oh right. I forgot sarcasm does not come across well. I was not pressuring. Wa merely trying to have a light hearted joke. Sorry to any I've offended.

Ride entrance has been boarded up since its closure announcement. As for demolishing etc nothing yet. It was a sudden closure. So I doubt any replacement has been thought about. As much of an eye sore as it currently is its a lot cheaper to leave is SBNO then demolish it currently. I think we will see it like this for some time just like Blue Lagoon.

If people are getting annoyed we are not getting as many picture updates in a day then geez I guess some within this community are needy. Just wait. Skipping a few days wont kill anyone. It will be more of a purpose when you see new photos compared to last weeks.

The fairy shop needs to go. That path needs to be opened up more. Doing this will also allow a revamp of the 1980's toilet block also. Yes I am aware the old and last remaining "Western building" would be removed. But honestly DW make you normally do your photo scanning yourself. So no need for that shop anymore. It never opned anyway. Making a nice wide pathway is more inviting to anyone. No over over crowding either. This will also help with the first aid station. As the path would be bigger allowing much better access to and from this location.

Hopefully, the effects are sorted out. Will be interesting to see how the loading works with the current COVID cleaning that is required also. I know the boats keep moving to allow for efficient loading. I am assuming once an hour all boats are almost stopped to ensure cleaning is done?. Those jets at the top have always either been yay or nay. I hope the barrel is fixed before the final lift hill along with all the smaller show piees before hand.

Yeah, you've stated we called someone at VRTP a "wanker". I am just asking for proof that I apparently personally said this. Even a child can prove something when you ask them. Yes, that's right. I'm here to play the victim card. Christ, you know me really well. You may as well call me. So it seems your big issue is we don't talk about all the GC parks. When we do. Within this forum. But when people wanna get personal and attack individuals that's bullshit. It is not the first time an individual here has done what you are doing. I don't know exactly what anti VRTP "We" keep posting. Are we not allowed to have an opinion. That's fine. Maybe you can stop talking about DW then. -

I never said that comment. But if you insist I did then prove it. What War also?. I talk to many people within this community and I don't know what "War" we may have started. I do know we get attacked however on a regular basis for what we believe in. -

If I recall correctly VRTP was indeed jumping up and down saying let us open. I get it was for the workforce they had sitting either on job seeker of casuals waiting in the wings. I also understand it was to help keep the local economy running. But they did carry on. While you sit back in your computer gaming chair snickering away I do enjoy other parks. I enjoy the VRTP properties also. People are allowed to have a personal choice or preference. If we didn't then we would all be driving the same cars and living in identical houses. So while I don't show my VRTP love all the time they do indeed so things are great. But sometimes its also nice to go for the underdog and encourage it along I believe. That's something I've done for the last 15 years. If you can show evidence while breaking NDA's about the future sale of VRTP then go for it. Because no one would even know the future sale of DW either. Prove to me I personally said that. Also fixed your grammar error for you. -

Ain't that right. Obviously no one remembers those parks opening with such limited attractions. Cant also use the bullshit excuse about them having more time. Plus the restrictions meant many works could not take place. Just like VRTP. Cause no company wants to outlay more than they have to during this tough time. -

My bad about Scooby. One tends to forget what rides have what sometimes when you don't ride them regularly. Thanks for the clarification -
