Exactly, who would actually want the alcoholic side to let some drunken idiots ruin it?
-
Really? I thought it sounded very much like Carnivale in Rio...

Yeah, there was a survey for it on Future of fun

What will replace Looney Tunes River Ride?
JacobSibbald replied to WED99's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Doesn't Tokyo DisneySea or Disneyland Paris have something like that? An indoor kid park? *Edit* Nevermind, I see someone has posted the image haha -
Well I didn't know that did I? And I bet you don't 100% know either because the whole forum hasn't replied stating whether they have used it either. Anyway, I'm happy to change, I already have had to since there isn't the feature anyway.

If the forum thing had a place on the old homepage, and there is space for it, unless you have something better to put there (which I'm sure you probably do) why wouldn't you just keep it.
-
Yeah It's much easier (I think) if I can see the most recent forum posts on the homepage, doesn't need to be at the footer of every page. That's what I just do when I want to look at the forums, scroll down the homepage. Up to you though, the site looks great!
-
Is there a way to quickly see the most recent posts in forums now? I noticed a blank white part at the bottom of the new homepage... is this where this is going?

A great mix of theming, thrills and storyline. That's why Tower of Terror at the Disney parks does it for me.

After a few goes? Who spends their day at Dreamworld having a few goes at a laser tag arena when there are plenty more rides to choose from, especially if you don't think it's any good.

Gotcha

Is that anything different to Wild? Or is it because the lake Wild is supposedly being built on is shallow in comparison?

Dreamworld Promotional Video From 1986!

I have to say, even though I knew parts of it were designed by Imagineers, I am shocked to see how Disney-esque it is was, just more Australian -
Wettest water ride you've been on?

Storm by far, came out looking like I'd jumped in a pool. -
Did you happen to do the Disney International College Program? If so I'd love to know your thoughts!

New multi $Billion Edutainment Theme Park for Australia
JacobSibbald replied to ElysianWorld's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Well that was a fantastic persuasive ploy, the Super Nova sounds like an incredibly immersive ride experience. However, you say investors are given access to more detailed and classified information, but investors generally need to know a lot about a project for them to confidently place their money into it, do they not? In asking your question, the park would be best suited in Sydney or Melbourne as Gold Coast already has parks but also has a smaller population and smaller international tourist numbers. Whilst I'd love for it to be built in Melbourne (because I live there, and because we are yet to have a proper theme park) I believe Sydney would be best suited.- 50 replies

To be honest, if you plan on pulling potential investors, even through your gogetfunding page, you are going to have to tell them a little more about the technologies and amazing rides you have thought up, things that are less ridiculous than the ideas posted and actually believe you. Don't get me wrong though, I'm somewhat interested in the project at hand.- 50 replies

New multi $Billion Edutainment Theme Park for Australia

Your current designs (a 10km waterslide is beyond ridiculous) would certainly not appeal to Disney. Also, a lot can change in 20 years and I'm sure if they revisit the plans (which are severely out of date technology wise) they may have something else to say. Good luck to you though, if you do open I'll be sure to be there on opening day.- 50 replies

New multi $Billion Edutainment Theme Park for Australia
JacobSibbald replied to ElysianWorld's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Don't worry, there are plans for a 10 kilometre waterslide to go from the very top of the "ugliest-thing-I've-ever-seen" to a small balcony pool on the 5th floor of the base of the "ugliest-thing-I've-ever-seen." Sounds fantasmic (don't sue me disney! ) and I can't wait to ride this logically sound piece of engineering. "Also winding down around the Tower will be the world's first 10 kilometer (6.2 miles) see-through water slide tube, with twists and turns, dips and dark sections that splash down into a balcony pool running around the fifth level of the tower. Please, surely you know websites in this day and age do actually update in a live fashion, even though gogetfunding may be an incredibly poorly used site compared to the likes of Kickstarter or Indiegogo. I honestly cannot comprehend how you can place confidence in this proposal, the marketing video was horribly produced for a budget that certainly doesn't mirror the total cost of this Fantasmagomical educational crap hole.- 50 replies

The boat doesn't stop for the water dump anymore, you can see it dumping a few seconds ahead - maybe that's what happened?
