Dreamworld Kung Fu Panda area?

Only DC Rivals and Superman were open Saturday night.

The SDA Christmas Party was held at Movie World last night. I had a friend there, she sent me this photo from inside.

They should fill in most of the river keeping a smaller part from Billabong and in front of the wildlife area adding water features. It sucks that they can't keep the river clean. They do have turtles in there but guests can't see them in the current state. I expect the river to look like that in an abandoned theme park, not an open one.

I also saw a Gold Rush street sign and they are still advertising an attraction called Brocks Garage. Gold Rush is still shown on in park maps.

You couldn't buy anything from the Superman Escape shop anyway since your money is in a locker.

The tent is just where the bushrangers are camping out waiting for the train to arrive at the station to hold it up.

I noticed last Wednesday the hot dog from Ocean Parade was in Blue Lagoon which might be the new bone yard since the old Thunderbolt site was being cleared.

Work happening in what used to be Gold Rush

The LEGO exibit in Ocean Parade is worth a visit. Unfortunately the gift shop sells motorsport themed merchandise but don't worry they put a temporary LEGO shop just before you go into the motorsport shop.

I'm surprised the Gold Rush sign is still standing. It looks weird now the building to the right is gone.

Since Sea Jellys is now open Creatures of the Deep had to close. Sea World can't have to many attractions open. 😆

Looks good. Pity it's in Ocean Parade. If only they had a DreamWorks themed area...

The good thing about Movie World is that Hungry Jacks is a short walk away. They even built a nice pathway besides DC Rivals to get you there. As a passholder you don't need to stamp your hand for re-entry just scan your pass to get back in. This is why Movie World need to greatly improve the f&b offerings and offer a passholder discount.

I made a quick visit to Sea World this afternoon, arrived after 3pm and Jet Rescue was a walk on. Rode it 3 times in a row. The Jet Rescue shop is gone now and only has fast photo points and free lockers. There are great animals to see but Sea World is no longer an all day park, unless you see all shows. But you will get board between shows.

My ride on Scooby today was probably the worst it's ever been. The disco room was very dark with just 1 laser on the ground. I think Movie World knows it's bad since the gift shop was closed.
