As @AlexB has pointed out on these forums, Wonderland never made a profit. It is a very well known fact that Sunway dug the park into the ground from the moment they bought it. Do you seriously know how much rust and corrosion that thing could have gotten over 12 years sitting in a paddock?

Honestly, I'm not all that bad with bullshit these days If you've watched VII and have watched the Rogue One trailer, then you'll know Disney is going full serious with being PC by putting female leads. They're only doing it to be PC, Disney don't give two shits about equal rights, it's just for PC points.

Also dislike the serious PC movement, some of it makes sense like saying AIDS instead of GRIDS or STI instead of STD, but most of it is completely unnecessary like the trend putting white female or black male leads in films just for political correctness for the last few years (already has ruined Star Wars and several other films and franchises).

While Aqualoop is definitely scarier, you do get a mat on your back unlike the Wedgie, so the only scary thing about the Wedgie is the pain that comes with it. Both times I went on it I got bruises (and the second time a splinter) on my back. If DW included those back mats found on Aqualoop, it would be a lot more tolerable!

I noticed just then. Rather sad it's going, being one of my first rides, and is still fun to this day. Unfortunately it was about time the old girl needed to go, I am sure LPS will so something great with the space, if combined with the old Flying Saucer space next door I could eye a major thrill ride.

Russia? I thought there was only Wipeout and the one in Six Flags Mexico. I agree, it would really be sad to see it go but there comes a time when all rides need to be retired, unfortunately. DW has already done the investment on giving Wipeout a full overhaul two years ago and I doubt they will repeat it, given how much they have spent over the last 23 years on maintenance. This is just my "devil's advocate" speculation, Wipeout may last longer than 2020.
