Did the Wipeout used to have more of a shipwreck / disaster theme in it's early days instead of the generic beach theme we have today? This photo and illustration look like it used to. Can anyone confirm?

After seeing that Dreamworld's website got a redesign, I think it would be nice if Paradise Country's was updated ever so slightly.

It's wonderful to finally see someone not going "SEA WORLD IS ALL OF THE BADS. SEA WORLD IS LITERALLY HITLER".
-
Hopefully they'll cut back the overgrown vegetation...
-
Realistically, what could be done in three months? Would that be a light refresh or could we see majority of the ride being changed?
-
Looks like an El Loco on Steroids IMO. Doesn't really appeal all that much to me, but none the less it will most likely be a great ride.
-
I agree. JL is a wonderful ride that could improved by a little TLC here and there, just like any ride.

Is that third picture on the pathway between the Lighthouse and Beach Break Bay? -
Warner Village Entertainment Precint?

Seeing that this concept and master plan was made in 2011, what would be the chances of this precinct actually happening? -
Warner Village Entertainment Precint?

I thought that too. Get rid of the lego tower and they might have had a winner. -
Hello all, I was browsing the Wyatt Design Group website when I came across the unique plan for an entertainment precinct apparently planned for Warner Bros Movie World. Link for those that are interested: http://wyattdesigngroup.com/portfolio/warner-village-theme-parks/#! What are everyone's thoughts about this concept?

Different coasters have different lifespans. Not all TOGO's are gonna last 20+ years and not all Arrows will last 40+ years.

What would you like to see at Gold Coast Theme Parks soon?
Zanstabar replied to Santa07's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Instead of raising the price of the VIP pass (which they will never do) I would much rather see them put together a premium VIP pass. Things such as park wide discounts, multiple free redemptions to events (or just a free season pass), and maybe include the Season Dinning Pass in it. That would probably be more reasonable then upping the price of their most popular ticketing option. -
Just read a pretty good Fright Nights review. Looks like the team have fixed most of the opening weekend problems, which is good to see. http://www.rhiannonirons.com/live-the-terror.html

The queue times seem to really flip-flop this year. Some people say they are terribly long, others get in within 30 - 45 minutes. Also, what mazes are the best to hit up first? Anyone who has been multiple times this yea,r could they perhaps say when the lines for each maze are at their minimum?
-
Isn't that a boat shed? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I always thought that it was a service area and not an area available to guests
-
Let's just hope this is all opening night issues. It is only the first night of operations. If they don't improve, we're in for on shitty Fright Nights season.
-
If possible, i wouldn't mind if you could tell us how the maze operations are. Are they sending in 10 people every 5 minutes? Or 30 every minute?
-
That's nothing new. It was like that last year. I have read, however, that the Fast Track lines are pretty long. I hope not, because that would be utter bullshit.

My guess is that it's a replacement for the indoor section of Dinosaur Island, so the Kraken will most likely be an animatronic similar to many of the dinosaurs
-
A new exhibit is opening up at Sea World in mid 2015 Sea World has confirmed that this will not be replacing the Sea Viper. Any thoughts?

Upwards seating pit does have a nice ring to it.

Not sure if this is of any help, but Kidspot has a online school holiday calendar for each state. Might be handy to use if you want to avoid crowds. Here is the link for Queensland: http://www.kidspot.com.au/schoolcalendar/QLD/2014/

Evil Dead. Perfect blend of scares and themeing.
