Oh yes, way better. In regards to prices, Dough Bros. has a 10" pizza, 2 chips and 2 drinks combo for $24.99, plenty to feed 2 people. I also have to say, it's one of the best pizza's I've bought anywhere. I haven't tried the sandwich shop yet, so you'll have to ask someone else about that.

Buzz Saw Harness Does Exactly What It's Supposed to Do

Perfect way to lower it's abysmal capacity when only being operated by one person! Much appreciated Dreamworld! -
Storm coaster is definitely a no no as well.

Such corner on Green Lantern is actually wider than that of the 4 seater versions such as Timber Drop. Therefore the forces are partially mitigated as a result.

Buzz Saw Harness Does Exactly What It's Supposed to Do

The way the Buzzsaw harnesses work is that they have hydraulic pistons as a primary with a loose ratchet as a secondary, hence the clicking when you pull the thing over. -
What rides have you gotten stuck on, or have seen broken down?

When I was there on Saturday they had all the coverings off the planes and were replacing the hydraulic fluid in the seat harnesses. -
Ok, went to Dreamworld today. (Or technically yesterday judging by the time of this post) 1. Cameras have been installed on the western side of the Giant Drop! They're 4 small cameras mounted to the framework (about 4.5 cm diameter so very small). They sell the videos from the previously abandoned photo outlet along the exit pathway. 2. The Vintage cars are being run on weekdays now, it's a miracle! 3. They seem to have audio coming out of speakers mounted to the Buzzsaw lift hill. 4. They've reconfigured the red queue room in TOT2. See my terrible paint image below. (It feels far less squeezy yet at the same time holds way fewer people) 5. Went to Dough Bros. and it was the best pizza I'd ever bought! Beats any of the chains easily. Pretty reasonable prices too! 6. Triple Vortex is having some major work done to it, one funnel appears to have been replaced (different shape, flatter) and another has half of it taken off.

Last two weeks before school holidays.

Went today. Slightly busier than an average off peak Thursday, basically everything except Cyclone and TOT2 walk on after the school groups left. 5 school groups though, most I've ever seen down there. -

Yeah, Tuesday's my last day. From past experience it doesn't have a great deal of an effect on queues though. Private schooling is a minority compared to the state schools. -
It's the remains of Blue Lagoon, the old water park / area within Dreamworld. Closed years ago!

What is there to get back on topic about? The G20 has well and truly finished.

Just a punch up that 3 security guards could handle from what I'm aware of.

I was on the opposite side towards the pass entry and I was like WTF is up with all that screaming. Couldn't see anything that happened though.
-
I noticed they had staff blocking rapids area and Rivertown at both ends. No idea why they'd pay 4 people just for that, I feel sorry for them staying there doing nothing all night. Oh and I was the guy with the blue striped shirt in the second row Garry. Got there bout the same time as you did.

Well, I got a reasonable bit done during Screamworld so you can hardly say the queues were extreme. 2 x Cyclone ( Was first person there and they couldn't fill up the train, waited 5 mins for enough people to show up) - Walk On 2 x Wipeout -2 Cycle Wait 1 x TOT2 - 30 mins wait 2 x Buzzsaw - 15 - 25 mins wait 4 x Giant Drop - 5 min wait Well it seems like I met Garry86 at the Cyclone without realising it

Well i'm going tomorrow night so hopefully things aren't too bad.

The rub you speak of is inevitable as on a Spaceshot the cable is always exposed. The cable goes from the vehicle to the top, around a wheel and back down to the bottom where there's another wheel sending it back and attaching it to the bottom of the vehicle essentially creating a loop. There is no drum of cable whatsoever and if there was there would be a hell of a lot of strain on it due to the braking and reversals.
