  1. That doesn't relate to connecting it at all... I know TI is being expanded but by the look of things it's not being expanded as far as OP. I'm assuming this shop will use the ZE pre-show building, which will essentially close off the stretch of land between TI and OP (the section behind the ZE show building). I was hoping the ZE pre-show building was being knocked down so that area could be opened up but the confirmation of the shop stops that idea.
  2. No you wouldn't have, unless you enjoy getting a splitting headache. The theming was better than AA's, and the pre-show would've been nice (I never got to experience it with the pre-show), but AA is certainly better simply because you don't come off the ride with your skull smashed to bits. And I find the current theming and storyline are still reasonably decent.
  3. I just saw this on facebook... *cringes* This was not directed at me, nor do I know the person who sent it, only the person it was directed at. If I knew the person who sent it I would remove them from my friends list for this. Their grammar is bad enough to turn me away.
  4. Sounds to me more like Submission. I agree - even if it isn't something amazing, it's a high-capacity flat ride and that's what MW needs to space the crowds out.
  5. I just realised something potentially good about this new area. If the cleared area is becoming the supervillain world, then maybe they'll open up a path between Arkham and the new area, since Arkham is supervillain themed too. That could actually work pretty well, although scooby would still be in the way unless a path goes behind the scooby building.
  6. I know, but if they extend it out behind ZE and back towards tiger island/the kids area that would be cool.
  7. Not better than no train. Just better. Steam is better.
  8. Sounds good. Bonus points if it ends up next to the kids area.
  9. Please tell me the cleared western area is for something else and they're not making a complete separate superhero area. I thought that was the stuff that Dreamworld does!
  10. I think there are a lot more people than you think... (although major rollercoaster is at the top of my list, followed by the dark ride )
  11. Dreamworld needs a good show, a big rollercoaster, and a good dark ride. Movieworld needs more things in general, but in particular more flats.
  12. Movieworld is good, but I definitely prefer Dreamworld just because there's enough things to do in a full day, while you can get everything done in movie-world within half a day. I also feel that the ambience at DW has recently taken over MW's, especially around the recently re-developed areas such as Ocean Parade. And I generally find DW to have better queues too. I like both water parks, I don't really have a favourite. WnW's slides are more fun for me, but I agree with OceanGirl on it being a pain to carry up your tubes on Tornado and Constrictor. WnW also has a better ambience for me, the extra grass and vegetation gives it a really relaxing vibe. But the lack of shade is a problem. I voted WnW in the poll, but both water parks are really close.
  13. This thread is a troll thread IMO just lock it and let it rot.
  14. Personally, I'm loving those really awkward-looking pot plants the most.
  15. A simulator could be either really good or really bad, depending on what they theme it to. And I think MW should leave DW to take care of the spin and spews.
  16. If DW sells to Wanda, I wouldn't be sure whether that's a good or a bad thing. On the plus side, we'd get more attractions, maybe one or two world class ones. On the down side, Ardent have been doing really well making DW look fantastic the past few years and I'd be worried that Wanda wouldn't continue that. But I doubt that'll actually happen and Wanda will probably just build a completely new theme park.
  17. I think HWSW is actually quite enjoyable now, despite how old and rough it still is. The theming, while still a bit weird, is good enough for the GP to think it's okay, it's only us nitpicky coaster nerds that find it bad. Even the GP could pick up that the Cyclone's theming was rubbish. As for the rest of the area, I think that was just an excuse to retheme the Cyclone without making it seem like another out-of-place ride, and giving the racing simulators a place to seem at home. The Brock museum actually looks really good... if you're a racing fan, and it really seems like there are very few racing fans that go to Dreamworld.
