Luna Park Sydney confirms Tango Train closure
Awesome! Guessing they will probably make an announcement on the website soon.

Traveling fairs!
Same here, can't wait to experience it! Do Bell's ever post a lineup anywhere of what rides are attending shortly before the carnival?

Traveling fairs!
I was talking to Elwin Jnr down at the Easter Show this year, and he didn't mention anything about a Ranger (or buying Show West's Ranger for that matter). I'll have to take a look down at the Christmas Carnival this year as they usually take most of their gear down there. He also mentioned getting his Turbo down there, apparently it's ready to run and just needs a bit of a tidy up, exciting times!

Luna Park Sydney confirms Tango Train closure
It's true, Luna Park may look a little empty at the moment with both of those attractions gone, however it shouldn't be too long before we get the replacements and the park will look a hell of a lot more full. Luna park is a family park as well, so they will always look to add a mix of family rides and thrill rides. And hopefully, we can see that mix in the 5 year plan.

Luna Park Sydney confirms Tango Train closure
Possible theming for an Air Race? I know its early, but you can kind of figure out if it has a 'plane backdrop' that it could be an Air Race.

Tiger Island Refurbishment - Dreamworld 2016
Even though I've only experienced Wipeout twice, its such an awesome ride and it's one of the best themed rides in Ocean Parade. It's going anywhere soon!

Luna Park Sydney confirms Tango Train closure
All good @Jobe . I would have loved to have seen a Tango Train mk II but, oh well . As for this new ride that has been mentioned, a Zamperla Flying Carousel would be nice to see and it fits in the specifications (16.20 x 16.20 metres). This could be interesting!

Luna Park Sydney confirms Tango Train closure
The manufacturer of the Tango Train is actually MACK rides. There are many different companies that produce those sort of rides though, so its pretty easy to get confused.

That has to easily be one of the scariest ride accident I've ever seen on tape. All of the suddenness of it and of how violent it was. Thoughts and prayers are with the deceased's family at this time.

In some other Australia's Wonderland news, the Demon (now known as Recoil) has opened back up in Wonderla in Bangalore. It's been given a brand new repaint and new trains also.

Sharknado Alive! - Shark Tank TV Show Proposal coming to Dreamworld?
Sure, the movie was a bit of a joke however I think this could be an awesome attraction. I'm just thinking though, in what category would the walkthrough fall into? The movies (after the original) were supposed to be stupid and just plain ridiculous. So would this classify as a 'horror' maze, thoughts?

Adventure World 2015 - 'Mi2' Kraken Tornado slide
How about, X Fall - The Next Generation. I love the idea of incorporating Abyss into the storyline. Maybe all the old 'chosen one's' have fallen away and chaos rules. A new set of 'chosen one's' (the riders) have to embark on a Journey to defeat the guardians once and for all. This means the ride would probably need a repaint (and those can be incredibly expensive when working with such a big ride) however it would look amazing and would probably be one of the best themed drop towers (or launched freefall towers) in the world! Just a thought

Sea World updates 2016
One quick question, is the old train still at one of the stations or has it been moved?

Luna Park Sydney confirms Tango Train closure
It's sad that the Tango Train is gone, however this opens up brand new opportunities for the park. I wasn't able to get my free ride (too busy riding Pinfaris )but it was great that you had to book beforehand if you wanted a ride, it would have caused serious lines! On another note, has anyone noticed that LPS always seems to get Freak Out every holidays? I mean, its a great ride and all, but I think every single school holidays is pushing it.

Old video footage of our Aussie theme parks in 80's/90's
That's the one @AlexB! Also @downunder, The Rainbow was manufactured by HUSS, the 'falling star' you're thinking of is made by Chance rides (picture below).

Doesn't everyone @downunder? Ah, Rainbow, Claw, Chaos, but most importantly Rainbow. What I would give to go back and ride it again.

I believe it was lent to the RAS for the Easter Show (which at the time was held around that area) so it may have stayed at Fox Studios for a while, but then went back to Luna Park where it operates today.

I'm pretty sure that Fox Studios at one point had a couple of rides. I found a video of a Turbo that was once there, take a look!

Interesting @XxMrYoshixX. Its strange that they still say it goes 161km on the website!

Steering away from GD, what is the reason that TOT can't go higher up the tower? With new technology from Intamin or even some new cars, I think it would be amazing to see it go up higher than it already does and provide a greater thrill. Thoughts?

That looks like a Calypso in the background of that picture, I wonder where it went?
