Only VIPs and media people get invites. They haven't done anything in the parade (except for the Batman Parade, Michael Croaker was blabbing how awesome the park is infant of the media haha)

Big Mama will be at the Event just not in her Panic Room. Thats just what we where told by the presenter. The lighting has started going up, Strobes, Blinders and some new Movers (SGM Strobes , Clay Paky Stormy CC and Clay Paky mythos for those interested). No signage yet. Also speakers have been put up around the gaming area (Demands Lair I believe)

I did it today. Was actually really good. We where the only group all day to escape (with 5 mins to spare i might add). The playpen won't have actor in it but the rest will at the event. I defiantly recommend doing it. I thought it would be crap too but loved it. You get a back story then you are blindfolded and led into the room. One member of your group will be locked in a cage. The lock has the main clue on it (folded around the lock) You had to get a code to get into another room and then that would give you the clue to get the code for the door to get out. There is a phone to the supervisor that you can ask for clues with. The only time we used it was to confirm the codes. I found it moderately difficult, Not as hard as expected and it the most difficult of the 4 (and scary even though there is no actors?) Defiantly excited to try the other 3 at Fright Nights

I noticed some lights inside the taz Hollywood cars building the other day. I just had another look and there is some presumably fright night stuff in there. Interesting to see what it will be. Oh and before someone has a bitch about pulling a "Andrew h" this is in full sight of everyone. There where families asking me what it was because I was taking pictures.

I rode the day it opened (19th) Nothing really changed, There is more lights inside the "spooky castle" part. No smoke still and nothing in the que building either

I haven't seen anyone say it but I talked to the guy selling Panic Rooms and it $50 for 4 people or $25 each. I'd actually consider doing it during the day with 3 friends. only works out to $12.50 each Also The big umbrellas have been removed from Gothic (gotham) Hall. And there is speakers around the carousel with what looks to be a mount for a light or something. I think it's something to do with UTT because the new photo advertising it has the carousel in it.

We where all talking about Workplace Health and Safety Stuff and then started talking about Pryro WH&S and that story came up. Malcolm does ring a bell. I'll ask him when we go back in to Tafe.

Ice Cream shop is coming along nicely (and very, very pink too). The land for the New V8 attraction is actually very large. They have demolished the building behind Shark Attack (presumably admin or something similar)

The only thing over at the studios is the old popcorn stand from main street. Its currently painted yellow

The cop car is on the same side as the entry to The Ripper maze, but its facing into the maze.

I've seen the Cop Car from Wolf Creek 2 in the Show Stage so that would support the rumour of WC returning

The speakers and lights for the scare alley have been put up (sort of) confirming the use of the studios. Not much else is new around the place.

I did hear from a staff member a while back the overhaul would be bigger that the TOT overhaul. Another point is did anyone not believe that tot was going backwards (before they announced it) It's physically possible to do, Take the Jester at Six Flags New Orlean (and SF Fiesta Texas before that) for example. I reckon it would give the old ride a new and more exciting twist.

Saw the same thing from Arkham. Also the news stand popcorn drink building is sitting outside one of the stages. Interesting to see if they use it in a maze or for selling food like they usually do

So its gone from 5 (or 6 can't remember) cars on the ride to 2 on the switch bay. One looks new/rebuilt. Im currently in the process of transferring all my data to my new laptop and came across a whole folder of photos from the day of the incident. Really Zoomed in high quality stuff. Ill go through it all and post some photos soon. Looking at it quickly it is scary how close the car came to falling completely off the side of the track. You can see for yourself soon

I wonder if they are going to put up any signage of what the maze will be before they announce it. Doubt it though
