I agree not everyone needs to like vanilla ice cream, but there's a little cluster of people who seem to think vanilla ice cream is dogshit ice cream and anyone who isn't denouncing is biased, while meanwhile pledging an almost religious devotion to Licorice ice cream, which they also used to hate so much that they made a Facebook page to point out how crappy it is. That changed suddenly when someone from the Licorice ice cream company brought them in and said 'we're trying to improve the flavour, honest' (and I'm sure that person is). They then start trying to start a Facebook war with managers of the vanilla ice cream makers, got called out, and instead of pulling their heads in resorted to making snide comments at every opportunity when the vanilla ice cream makers do ANYTHING. Meanwhile rappa says 'I don't like licorice ice cream and here's why' and people lose their minds. Personally I don't much like licorice ice cream and vanilla ice cream can be a bit bland and boring, but in my opinion vanilla ice cream is in balance, the better of the 2 if you must compare them. If the Licorice ice cream company actually improves the flavor like apparently they trying to, I'd be delighted that they'd confounded expectations and made something good. Until then I haven't really seen anything that makes me change my view on them.

Agreed. I can't really see a scenario where DW can pay back $70million in 5 years, or if they can it basically leaves very little if anything going to Ardent. How interested they'd be in an arrangement where they don't see any profit for the better part of 5 years is anyone's guess.

DW is absolutely for sale, and it's not exactly a secret in financial circles. Problem is it's hard to get a good price for a park that's losing money so bless they've been trying to turn it around so they can sell it as a theme park. Taken out the front of MW today. I guess in Village's mind these work just as well because you see this before you buy your ticket, not after like the signs down by the gate. If you're going to gp digital after the park reopens is as good a time as any I guess. BUT it is digital though, and it scrolls through other things which isn't ideal. Personally I think the physical signs are better and should come back. Just thought people might enjoy the whole picture.
