I would suspect it's somewhere between the Boutique and Emporium, but that's a bit of a guess. I can tell you John Menzies is on the Emporium, Village Roadshow Directors 'the Kirbys are across from Guest Servies, Steve Peet (former COO) is on guest services, CV Wood ('designer' of the park) is honoured on the bank. That's all the ones I remember off the top of my head, apart from that it's mostly employee of the year winners from years back. Also the graves in Boot Hill have the names of many past (and I think a few present) employees on them.

In the case of the Giant Drop themeing guests picked at it and destroyed it until getting rid of it was the better option, in the case of Cyclone, well it's all still there, and it's crap. Truthfully they were never well designed queues. This was back when Dreamworld was going through a phase of having the queue finish 50meters away from the ride. I suspect someone at Dreamworld was like 'Hey it works with Wipeout, let's do it with everything!' Sanderson can make good stuff, but for whatever reason the work they did for Dreamworlf was never their finest. Did you know that one of the windows on Main Street at Movie World which says 'Sanderson - Maker of fine buildings'

Attractions similar to those in the Gold Coast
Just look at the difference between these 2 to see what I mean Rio Bravo also doesn't have the geysers at the bottom of the drop

Don't forget the poor man's Wild West Falls from Madrid; Rio Bravo

Justice League dark ride at Six Flags Texas (video)
I think the only part of our JL that is below par is the lack of a decent final. Apart from that I honestly don't see much difference aside from the story and the motion bases. And you know what? Our ride doesn't have motion bases for budget and space reasons, and IMHO it doesn't really suffer for it.

Movie World speculation and dreaming - 2015 edition
There's a lot of reasons it wouldn't fit, content for one, the fact that it's not a Movie or a WB/Village property for two, and the fact that once a TV show is finished, that's pretty much it, it's dated and no one cares anymore. Maybe it's because you can watch a movie randomly, but no one would say 'hey let's watch the 4th episode of the 3rd season of Breaking Bad!' The only thing from a TV show I'd like to see permanently if for Village Bean on mainstreet to be turned into 'Central Perk' from friends, as its a WB show and people will still watch the occasional episode.

Movie World speculation and dreaming - 2015 edition
See in my experience it's either you've watched it or you haven't. It's one of those shows that if you've given it a shot, you've liked it, and those few who don't like it just go 'it's not my sort of thing'. I'm yet to meet anyone who says they watched it and hated it (without then adding something like 'Fantasy/medieval stuff is stupid!'). Also I was well aware from your previous post you don't watch it, which is why I thought it would be fun just to go into more detail as a response, but thanks for playing along! Anyway, I didn't mean to get sidetracked by it, I don't find talking about one show for a halloween maze that might be hard to get a license to a particularly interesting diversion on what has so far been a fairly interesting thread. Oh and Mad Max maze? Good thinking!

Movie World speculation and dreaming - 2015 edition
That was the 'broad brush stroke' version to, I can go into extreme detail if you want? Basically, it's themed to the house of the undying, and the Warlock welcomes you, tells you that you are his guest till the end of time, just like happened at the end of season 2 to Daenrys . He says you can't leave until you face your fears, and you travel through doorways looking for a way out, and each time you pass into a doorway, you go through a different scary part of the show; The Dredfort, Ild Valyria, House of Black and White (the room with the faces specifically), the dungeon holding the dragons, narrow streets of Mareen, a black cell in Kings Landing (because budgets are fun!) and finally North of the Wall. Varys then jumps out at you in a hurry and shows you the exit. Does that help?

Movie World speculation and dreaming - 2015 edition
I'm a massive fan of Game of Thrones but I don't think it'd suit taking over Western town. Although it would make a good Halloween maze, there's plenty of scary places in the show and there's some 'magic' in the show that would justify you visiting different places 1000s of miles apart in short succession. I think between the Sons of the Harpy, Stone Men, White Walkers, Boltons, Hill Tribes and Wildlings there are enough bad characters to jump out at you.

Movie World speculation and dreaming - 2015 edition
^^You're thinking of that bit of land between Arkham and Wild West that's used for the general dumping of crap that doesn't have a future but the park just can't stand to throw away. It's not really called anything, the 'Graveyard' Slick is talking about is Boot Hill, the themed cemetery next to Scooby's exit

Green Lantern incident at MW
There's some truth to it, in that they're going to demolish half of it. Nah I haven't heard anything on this. But I can say if they can't rectify the problem to both their satisfaction, and that of their insurance company, it'll go. I'd suspect if it was taken down S&S would be up for some damages. Also if it does reopen I doubt it's popularity would be much less. I suspect most people wouldn't know how bad a malfunction it was, and if they saw it running most people would assume it's safe.

Sea World - Creatures from the Deep
See that's the one thing that seems to be lacking since the new management. While cheap passes on the whole I think have been good, I think they could stand to be a bit pricier, not like the days wherer the parks were way too expensive for what they were. Whatever we've been over it a million times. I think what's really lacking is the CEO walking through the park, seeing something tacky like that and saying 'What the fuck is that? Get rid of it!'

Movie World speculation and dreaming - 2015 edition
See if you're going to bring Mad Max into the park, surely the best way to do it would be in the form of a Stunt Show to take over the current incarnation of HSD. Given the good reviews the film is getting, and the fact that it appears as though it will be a financial success spawning sequels, it seems like a perfect fit.

I think what they've done here is tacky as shit.

Movie World speculation and dreaming - 2015 edition
Infinity is good, Ripley's is more a novelty museum than a walk through, and I've heard enough mediocre reports from Dracs that I'm not really keen. I also did the 'Space Walker' attraction that disappointed tourists in surfers for a year or two. Yes I've done walk throughs and they're mostly crap. If they weren't Fox Studios would still be around. If Movie World were to add a permanent one though, I hope they'd use the space behind the toilet block in Western Town, between the walkway to Wild West and the show stage. Surprising amount of room in there if they cleared out the clutter for a modest attraction.

Movie World speculation and dreaming - 2015 edition
Call me crazy but most walk through attractions suck. Things like animal exhibits are fine but scare attractions or walk throughs like Matrix Exhibat or Harry Potter attractions from ages ago were ordinary at best, and I've not seen many better ones overseas. One thing I would love to see at Movie World though is a museum of some sort, perhaps placed above the emporium or in some of that unused retail space at the end of Main Street. Nothing for a specific film, just a somewhat classy display of different costumes and props used from big movies, even better if they were filmed in the studios. But a full scale walk through outside of Halloween I think is unneeded.

Movie World speculation and dreaming - 2015 edition
It was themed to westerns in general, but with a particular focus on the film Rio Bravo. At the last min they changed the name of the ride to Wild Wild West as a tie in to the film that was coming out.

That's one of those phrases that confuses people. It's much like 'fail safe' which I think people take to mean 'will never fail' rather than 'will fail in a safe way'

Nope still a disgrace no matter how much you try and justify it. $700 for a rental car for 3 days is properly mental.
