Its been a long time comming, but on my way to work thismorning i noticed there had been movement at the station.... We all know by now (from reading old posts) that the zodiac hasnt been visible from the M4 for sometime now (due to the hydrolics leveling out and causing the arms to be in the horizonal position), and today was different, as i looked up thru the trees, i thought id be in for the same old regular sight of seeing just the spaceprobe and cablecar towers, but something else was there in my line of sight and that was the eastern arm of the zodiac in the air ( the arm closest to walgrove rd) althou it wasnt in motion, it was still there, as i looked back in the rearveiw mirror it was a great sight seeing the zodiac in the air with the morning sunlight shining on it. Put a huge smile on my face for the rest of the day. I really thought by now that the hydrolics would have siezed by now, but i could be wrong. I will stop tomorrow to take pics if time permits, if not it will be on saturday. Also on the return journey from work i looked back at the same spot(traveling westbound this time) and it was very dark, even hard to see the white pod in sky of the top of probe, as i got closer it looked like the ground around the zodiac/SP/demon was lit up with floodlights. Could it be they have started work on disassembling either SP or zodiac and starting with either taking the gondolas off the zodiac or taking the tunnel apart from SP. I dont know what the floodlights were for and im only throwing around possibilities. When is the demolition for BB going to start? Does anybody still have contacts with the guys from security? Anyways guys thought i would make a new post as its been a while since we had any new news regarding WLS.

you guys are probably right with the whole transexual thing with the second intruder, as she/it didnt look like a natural chick.

Richard, i only have 2 pics, and they are taken from the gate between the wall and the batman ride, doesnt show much, unlike the footage on video which was taken from near the fountain.

i have some photos and vid footage of the current construction work of the new ride. it hasnt been edited yet as i only just got back home last night from qld

the new mamoth falls slide awaits in the carpark in pieces, when i was there last friday i saw a group of 5 construction workers joining up the curved pieces, sad to see double screamer gone.

i too was at the 1st eviction show to see angela get the boot, would have rather seen timmy get booted. the atmosphere was incredible, this year so far has been the best big brother so far, and going by the 1st uncut show this mondays uncut will funky, given by what happened on uplate on friday

its a bit hard not to run into it after getting off both the sling shot and the vomitron rides at surfers paradise, having just been there in the past week :eek: :eek: :eek:

i have to say i am a total fan of the show, the ad's for this season have to be the best so far from any season of big brother, and im sure there will be lots more to come from the production of big brother to keep us in suspense

i agree with willsy with the persons name watermarked on the pics taken. I will be on the Gold Coast for most of May and will be taking hundreds of pics in my many visits to movieworld, not to mention the other parks, as well as video footage with my new vid camera.

i will be on the gold coast for nearly all of may and a little bit of june, will have alot of pics and heaps of new video footage

good work jaggie, although it will be sad to see the boats go, sounds like 2 steps forward for the park

i would also do it as i have a good digicamera and also could provide video footage with my new digividcam, but the airfares would kill me every fortnight, unless you want ot pay them as well Richard??? seen as im from Sydney

buzz, will you be making any more tribute vids anytime soon on the other rides? Whould be great to see more.

bussy, i totally agree, i work in retail and the amount of kids and their parentals saying they wished they had somewhere to go over the recent xmas holidays.... if wonderland was still in operation today then not only would the kids have somewhere to go, but would give me a place to go on my day off to chill

Wonderbuzz, did you manage to find the missing spaceprobe sign in all the carnage that was left, also did snowy river get filled in with landfill?

thanks guys, i tried emailing my contact thats still working at the park, but once the wonderland site came down so did there email system, do we know if snowy river has been covered over yet? or if and when bb will come down

hey guys, has any one heard when SP and BB will start to get taken down? i have been driving past everyday to go to work and still nothing has been done to these rides, also on my recent visit to the park (a few days before xmas) zodiac was still in place but the arms were level (nor up nor down) and cause of this you cant see it from the m4, does anyone know if its still there as well... :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

paul, the pic is REAL, the cd i have got from which the pic came from has a hi res pic on a low res pic i sent you the low res pic, i have the hi res pic for my own use, but THE PIC is REAL.
