What would be the cost of the types of disc 'o' because 7 million for the major attraction doesn't sound right. It might of been a misunderstanding and the amount is more then that for the motocoaster and almost more for the Claw and they are only small rides. Cause the looks of things this ride maybe big considering they have taken out part of the car park and the train and rapids are closed for construction. Unless they are for something else but it would be odd timing.

I am comparing it to family coasters in general not just motocoasters. Yea exactly. Its short.

Is anything going to happen about the website constantly being offline.

When i say short I mean short on thrill time. Plus compared to US park the Motocoaster is short. The Giant drop is only about a few seconds one you reach the top. Cyclone, claw and wipeout are the only longer thrill rides.

If it is just the skywheel I doubt it would do them very good. Not the best ride considering they have enough short attractions as it is. If it is in fact Maurer Sohne it could be a x-coaster and the supports we see maybe for a tower like on, Universal's Hollywood Ripe ride rockit.

Their website also confirms that as it is down on the exact same days as the Rapids. It would have to be for a Roller Coaster due to its size.

But this just says that it is going to be a building structure not roller coaster supports as they are exactly like those support you posted.

But I doubt that they would of ordered them in brown if they were going to paint them on site.

The difference between Dreamworld and Movieworld and Sea world is that Dreamworld has other major rides the take the extended attendance. While at the others they don't. Movieworld has other rides but no major rides for kids apart from the coaster, then Sea world basically doesn't have many major rides at all anyway with the two roller coasters. One thing I don't get about the Australian parks is that they wait until a month or two before it opens to announce it. When if they did it months before hand they would get mass amounts of attention with people talking about it. While they get a slight increase in attendance from people looking to get photos. It would basically be cheap advertisement. For example Universal Studios with the recent Despicable Me attraction at Universal Studios Florida where they had a build up for months surrounding the basic attraction and that was as basic as it needs to be just simple posts on Facebook and twitter.

Looks like building frames. The big cross beems like old factory roof supports. Like the ones here So we might be getting a new building or these may of be removed from inside the old eureka mine mountain and been replaced.(I remember people saying they could hear work being done inside.)

But leaving a major ride shut down for reasons unknown will damage their attendance.

You could have this one themed to Duck Dodges. It would easily be a great attraction.

Couldn't help but mention this but on facebook a comment says sounds like Gravitron but it clearly says Sea Green Track and that its 63m. Also what type of Disc'o' has a track of 63m. The Disc'o' coaster is 92m, basic disc'o' around 30m and the mega disc'o' about 40m, so what type of Disc'o' is 63m long (Track length)

Yea it would be able to see the studios from a different angle. I am surprised that MW didnt try and do something like universal Studios Hollywood where one of the parks rides is the studios tour and they have mini shows along the way. It would of made the park much more successful.

I was wondering if anyone has a picture of the Big Dipper 2 (now cyclone at Dreamworld) from Luna Park Sydney when it was in operation. A video would be even better. Thanks

This would never happen in a million years. If they rebrand it would become a Harry potter attraction if they can get permission for JK or would by based of a DC comic. Ironman would never happen as its a Marvel comic now owned by Disney, so not even the slightest chance of Ironman.

Has anything happened to the site yet or is it still just sitting there?

It will be the family thrill ride as they wouldn't be putting forward the application for this ride so far in advance if they were going to build it by September as it doesn't take very long to build. Also they wouldn't submit the application before the Thrill ride before the family ride this close to when they want the family ride opened.

They were doing surveying in the gold rush area of the park today.

Maybe getting renovated. Cause wasn't I down for extended maintenance recently. Or I could be for a new ride to replace it. Theory they are going to remove the mountain. For the old roller coaster mine. So they can build a new ride.

I was thinking about the Pirate flag when I saw this http://www.mack-rides.com/en/products/spin...lery/index.html I was thinking that they could do it because it is similar to the Battle boats at Sea World and they wanted to make it so that the battle boats are not a draw card for sea world. Just me think but I doubt it would happen, cause of White water world.

The suggestion was just for the car, not the theme or anything just the idea of the ride. Like making a coaster with ghost town music playing. And please no wooden Coaster

It would be nice if they destroy the old Blue lagoon water park area and the Studios and use that area to build a mining style roller coaster or ghost town themed B&M coaster there. Also with that bring back the Eureka Mine, with a Vekoma Mine Train. Or my idea which I suggested on Dreamworlds facebook page is to build a roller coaster like Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, or Rock'n' Roller coaster. Which in Dreamworld's response they seemed to like.

We really need pictures or this is not going anywhere. I live in Sydney and I am currently in the busy school year of year 11 so I have no chance to make it to get pictures, so I am waiting on other people for picture but if you say you will post pictures then don't, I can't make anything.
