Firefighters Rescue 23 people from California Screamin'
CruiseSF replied to aussienetman's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Going on the video and some more information I have learnt from other websites is that a bag fell out of one of the cars and landed on the track and the Red train hit it just before the loop or on the loop (can't really) which caused the car to severely decelerate (due to it getting caught between the wheels and the track and acted as a brake) causing it to valley just after the loop. -

In a park update on Disneygeek. You can see them slowly getting the train, over the next hill. It got stuck just after the loop. -

I meant it didn't make it to the next brake. -

I would say one of the cars was at the end of the block brakes when they kicked in so it slowed it down but didn't have the time to stop it. this would of caused it to slow down and valley. -
Joz, How come your post was marked as 27 minutes ago when you posted it over a day ago. Well that when I saw it first. Could it be an issue with the forums, as I have noticed it in another thread as well.

I don't really know if movieworld quality really wins over quantity at Dreamworld to the general public. I have noticed that many people vote their favourite parks in this order. Dreamworld, Movieworld, Wet 'N' Wil, Sea World. Also if village are going to actually make an announcement this month like they said they better hurry up and do it because the month is almost over.

I have a universal Annual pass. It is made out of paper but its in a little zip lock back attached to a lanyard. I got it on my last trip there as we planned to go there for two days and the annual pass was the same price as a one day pass plus you get 10% discount in stores, so we went for the annual pass even though we can only use it twice since we live on the far side of the world. The same goes with Knott's Berry Farm where I have an annual pass as well.

This is the reason why I would like to see either Universal or Disney build a park here (not saying there is going to be). It will change peoples views on what a park should be like and the current parks will have to up their game to survive.

http://www.mediafire.com/?i77agp69bus466e I started to do some painting of the terrain. Apart from that the only thing left for the hills is adding trees. If you need any changes just tell me.

No Sorry I didn't word that right. I want to make it exactly like you want. So I was asking if you wanted large or small hills and how much flat land you would like. Edit: would you like it like islands of adventure where the water is in the centre of the park in a lake.

I think the parks feel like they have the market secured because Asia had very little quality rides so they don't need to compete with anyone so they don't build expensive rides, I believe that the management believes that the new parks in asia will not affect them that much. I would say soon they will release that the parks will take away many of their guests who go to those parks which are of much better quality. Another thing that they need to release is that with the Australian Dollar so high and still rising it making it cheaper from Australians to go overseas, this will harm the parks because the Gold Coast is one of the biggest spots for holidays because it is cheap, while going overseas has been expensive but now with cheaper prices overseas in audition to the strong dollar there will be a lot more Australians skipping the gold coast and going to Asia or the US. Also the dollar will also hurt international guests because they will go to parks closer to them because they are cheaper and better. Will all this you would think that the park would start building higher quality rides to attract guest and not just assume that they will keep going back if they keep adding cheap attractions.

I would be able to make one for you any thing apart from what you said that you would like. Also would you like large hills or small hills and how much water and where do you want the flat land. I am only asking this so I can make it more like what you want.

Universal Studios Hollywood review and pics

Also how to did you run out of time at Universal the park isn't that big, or were the line on the big side. If anyone looks at going to the US theme parks go in january when everyone has gone back to schoool and work becuase we did Knott's and Universal and the longest line we had was about 5 minutes at any attraction and the only thing we didn't do was Waterworld because it was close for refurbishments. -

Actually the ride isn't bad to ride in cold weather. When I was there in early January this year, I rarely got wet at all and only the people in the front got wet and a few select people got hit by the spitting dinos. I actually got wetter on the studio tour in the Jurassic park segment when one of the spitting dino started spitting and moving its head as the same speed as the tram so its entire shot went onto me. Yes the Super line is written into the script but Americans love it. Also the seats slowly rise up and suddenly drop at the end like you said. -
I just noticed that on Dreamworld's website, Shockwave is listed with the big six thrill rides and family rides. Also it would be nice if Dreamworld saved up about $15 million with the money they saved from building small attractions. That the new CEO could talk everyone into buying a B&M Invert (Silver Bullet at Knott's Berry Farm cost about $16 Million). Just hopeful thinking.
-
but still its not that much bigger plus it wouldn't fit into the spot at dreamworld.
-
I don't get why people are surprised by the scale of the ride because Dreamworld have been saying all along that it was going to be a family attraction and if they got a ride bigger then this it would no longer be a family ride.

Bermuda Triangle is officially closed... Now what?
CruiseSF replied to reginaphalange's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Has anything at all happened to the site. As its been half a year since it shut down. -
Just watched it and did anyone noticed that one of the engineers was wearing a B&M marked Helmet.

That would explain why the size didn't match any of the Disc'o's
