Theming works well on these coasters, one of which I believe is actually a hyper. So we could always see some theming. And judging by Movie Worlds standards we will see some sort of theming how ever basic. Superman: Pre-show Arkham: Courtyard and viewing (not great theming but adds to the Park) GL: The queue walk through is pretty cool, with the figures kind of like Doomsday. (Wouldn't it be cool if the wristbands could activate stuff on that while you're in line) Scooby: Was great theming Road Runner: Substantial theming. So I believe that the hyper will either have some sort of theming during ride such as Bizarro above, or even some sort of area that adds to the park. By Movie Words standards, I really don't see this being just a coaster with a name.

I get where everyone is coming from here. For those who are only judging by youtube, hypercoasters probably don't look that impressive. But when you ride them, that OMG feeling is better than on any other kind of attraction. There's some feeling that only a ride of that size can convey. And from a coaster enthusiasts opinion only a small percent of rides will ever please us. But parks don't invest to please coaster enthusiasts. They invest to draw crowds in and make money. And nothing does that better then a massive coaster. Sure a great dark ride with immersive storylines are awesome for themeparks but they don't give the same return. And from the other side, I admit, a park like Six Flags Magic Mountain full of thrill coasters only appeals to a small majority. But the last ride built at movie world was Doomsday, which is a farily good family ride. Before that was a dark ride (correct me if I'm wrong). So its about time for a thrill ride.

Giant Drop E-Stop
It's getting a little amusing at this point. When there is a big accident in the theme park industry, I expect the media to write stories on it, just as I would expect them to write stories on big car accidents. But I don't expect the media to write a story when a car breaks down, so I shouldn't expect the media to write a story when a ride breaks down.

I don't want to seem rude, but you did ask for our opinions on Mack. In my opinion I see mack as a pretty innovative company. They have a massive variety of coaster designs, launch, mega, bobsled, E-motion, Big dipper, hyper, to name some. But they don't stop there. They have water rides, like the super splash, and then they have a mix of both, such as the water coaster. They also have released two unique completely brand new rides last year: Lost gravity, a big dipper model, which people who have ridden it rave about it, and Pulsar, a Power splash model. Both of these models are fairly unique to just Mack. I admit, the big dipper looks similar to a Euro fighter, but it's got sits more like wing coasters. If we're getting picky, their trains are fairly unique, with seats elevated so you can not touch the floor, almost giving the feeling of a floorless coaster, and the trains are very open unlike other common models at that size. These are just some of Macks unique aspects. And when you compare new models of Mack rides released recently to new models B&M has released recently, Mack starts to look a lot more innovative. (I'm not saying B&M is bad, they are one of the best roller coaster manufacturers ever). So in my opinion I think Mack is a very innovative company, and it can't hurt that their rides are really popular and well received as well.

In all seriousness, I'm pretty happy with the fencing we've got. At least it isn't chain link like this... I reckon its just me, but I feel it looks so temporary. Imagine Green Lantern with this fencing.... ew. I'm pretty sure the raptor fencing is used on Superman and Arkham, but I think it works because the coasters go near the Asylum and jails generally have that kind of fencing. So I'm pretty happy with the fence. (You know we need an anouncement when a coaster enthusiast starts discussing how smart their fence decision was.)

I'm thinking that the location of the coaster or 'Lakeside Precinct' is just a guess? Unless someone knows that's where its going. If that was the case, it would make sense the ride hasn't been announced yet, as VRTP would want to announce everything at the same time, and probably just need some plans approved for the lake and hotel. An Aquaman theme would then make a lot of sense, being near a Lake, and I can see something like a water feature similar to Gryffon's splash down and the iconic turn on Manta coming to Australia. I understand that the above location is probably just guessing, but if it's themed to Aquaman, I hope they have some water feature, even if its just something like the hyper at Energylandia's water feature.

Sea World updates 2016
I actually think it's a brilliant idea, I just hadn't thought of it. Sorry (I know the phrasing came out completely different to what I meant).

Maybe because it wasn't super obvious? I get what your saying, but a cable car wasn't the first thing to come to mind when I tried to solve the problem.

Exciting times for everyone. Why do you add the last bit?

Well, Mack has stated it will be very similar... but still different. So there is no chance we will be getting a clone. And that's a good thing.

Seeing as VRTP is making such a huge investment you think they would have figure out the best way to build this station. But seeing as Mack is building it, it will probably have a similar station. On Blue Fire: At 59 seconds, we see the train leaving the station. At 2:39, we see the train in block brakes, before heading back to the station. Blue fire has 5 trains. On Flash: at 17 seconds, we see the train leave the station. At 1:26 we see the train entering block brakes. Flash has 2 trains. Even on Helix: At 5 seconds, the train leaves the station. At 1:26, the train enters the block brakes. Helix also has three trains. Just looking at Macks previous rides its pretty safe to say the 2017 coaster will have multiple trains and block brakes leading to efficient load and unload times. Also, for any one unsure as to what a Mack coaster is like, watch these. ^

I hope they utilise the GL JL area. I've always felt like its a bit of a dead end. Maybe for the opening of the coaster, VRTP could add some of the interactive elements similar to the ones in the Villains precinct, but themed to heroes.

I'm guessing he was discussing their plans for 2017. So if he said next year, he may have been referring to 2018, but he corrected himself to 2017.

Just checking, one of the signs on Aqualoop it mentions the height requirement for a ride called the aqua drop. I assume there is a difference between the two as it stated, Aqualoop height requirement 120 cm, Aquadrop height requirement 110 cm. A quick search brought up no results, so unless its long removed ride, I'm a bit confused.

Super 8 Aqua Racer at Wet N Wild GC
I know some have said there were no pieces in place, but on Saturday the base track was in place, and behind aqualoop a lot of work had been taking place.

WNW New Upcharge Attraction
I really hope it's not an upcharge. They have or (had) enough. I can never tell which ones are open. If where you're talking about is the same place I'm thinking (correct me if I'm wrong), it may just be them updating the Volleyball courts. But it would be awesome if they put in a new attraction. A more modern slide would be cool. But if they can spend money here, why haven't they spent it at Seaworld, which obviously needs it more.

Sorry. Struggling to think of anything good to say. Maybe I'll just say nothing. I don't think that this incident is anything big. We probably won't remember it in a few weeks. If anything I think its a good demonstration of VRTP's commitment to safety. All of the recent incidents were dealt with nicely by their team.

Well... That's impossible to fall out of. The slide is enclosed. But I can see someone getting hurt if they already had pre-existing conditions. I was pretty sure that Aqua Loop has multiple signs warning the risks. There are heaps on the way in.
