  1. http://waterslide.net/product-range/racer-slides/ Hmm... Could Aqua Racer be a test for a new design? Then they'll update the page with photos.
  2. Santa07 sorry, for posting that, what happened was that I was reading the pictures of the park, and began to write exactly what you'd said, then I posted it but you had already posted as I was writing and the page hadn't refreshed. Because you can't delete posts, I tried editing it to make not look like a repost. Sorry.
  3. Santa07 it says "Only to be opened by authorized MACK personnel. Doesn't that defeat the purpose? Also I'm hoping its a bigger overbank like this. (I understand that this is a turnaround, but the over bank size is what matters).
  4. Thanks, that clears a lot up. It's sad that it closed. It didn't look to bad. I'm probably ages late in saying so though.
  5. I'm not that informed in the Mine Ride sort of things. IS Eureka a mine train or is it something more like Scooby? Either way a mine train could be a very cool ride for Dream World, its not been done in Australia and would suit a Mine theme, also appealing to a bigger audience.
  6. Macks website on the other hand states that at IAAPA they will release some info regarding their new upcoming projects. This could be about the new roller coaster at Movie World. I'm not expecting an announcement, but something just acknowledging what kind of ride it is, and maybe if there are new trains or anything. It also wouldn't matter if Mack spilled some secrets, because the general population of Australia doesn't even know IAAPA exists and would therefore never even hear. If anything it would be good, firing up the rest of the world for this exciting new attraction. Then when it does open, more people know about it other than just locals. Also, there would be on point to Movie World opening a booth about the new ride. No one would care or even know Movie World existed to begin with.
  7. I'd also love another ride like Constrictor, maybe one that duels. It would shorten the lines a lot and add a cool aspect to the rides. Constrictor is a very very popular ride, probably one that has the longest lines when I'm there. Mammoth falls would have a way longer line if it weren't for the fact that there are two of them. Same with the sidewinders. It would add a new experience to the park while also shortening lines and adding more to the origianl ride. Something like this would be amazing.
  8. It wouldn't seem that VRTP would purchase a ride like Gale Force for the following reasons. 1. The incident that occurred with Green Lantern 2. That ride still isn't open, even though it was proposed to open months ago. That wouldn't be a good look for any theme park.
  9. Storm and Jet Rescue, are perfect rides, just about everyone in a family enjoys them, but even the younger ones end up complaining that there is not much else to do. So maybe another ride like Storm and Jet Rescue, just maybe a little more on the thrilling side. Maybe in between scooby and green lantern. Something like Cheetah hunt could do nicely, with one inversion allowing it to be the parks big thrill ride, but it still appeals to the younger generation. This heartline roll on Cheetah hunt is the only inversion on the ride, but makes itself a signature part of the Busch Gardens park. Something like this at Seaworld would fit very nicely. The ride is easily themed to animals as Busch gardens proved, and it literally went round the Cheetah enclosure, allowing Cheetahs to 'race' the coast. Something like this could be very cool in Australia. To fit it into sea or ocean theme might be a little harder because most animals invovle water which may be hard to involce a roller coaster. The only down side to a ride like this is it is very similar to jet rescue. Their is not to much of a problem here, becaus you could almost make it next to each other and have Jet Rescue for young ones and this ride for the level up. It could also be very different if the ride used a tradiotional lift hill instead of the launch, to set itself apart, allowing for a big difference between the rides. loed what Joz did with his Sea World, the only problem I see is that the ride he has placed where Sea Viper stood was incredibly thrilling. Thats fine, but Sea World would get a little bit more out of it by making it similar to Cheetah hunt. The similarity between the rides is farily high as seen here, literally the same track at similar angels, but a lift hill would easily change that as well as incorporating the box shaped track that Intamin uses shown below. This would set the ride apart even further.
  10. How can we look at rides that dont exist? They dont exist yet.
  11. My point exactly. (well, I didnt really say that but I agree)
  12. Not afterwards, if they went afterwards, it would take away from the previous new rides. I believe they should do it in a Klugheim package. They got a really small family ride, probably cheaper than Doomsday, along with the Hyper. The other benefit to this is that that could count as their new family attraction and they wouldn't have to buy a bigger one later. In the GP's eyes, a package of a hyper coaster and a family coaster would be enticing to everyone and families would see it as a massive new kids attraction, because it comes with the hyper coaster. This means that Movie World just doesn't need to spend so much later, to fill in the family gap.
  13. See? Someone gets it. That way, in two years, you would've gotten, a mid thrill ride (doomsday) a high thrill ride (Flash hyper) and a gentle ride (Kid-Flash). This would also, make it easier for families to stick together at the park, because they're not splitting off and getting lost.
  14. Maybe Movie World could pull a Valravn and open a second gate with a hotel. Except that little garden thing could be a fountain. Hopefully there will be walkways between the coaster. Like superman, but to the power of ten. I'm thinkKlugheim-esk for the walkways. There is no way a hyper coaster could have that level of themeing. But a new precinct of the park could definetly. If it was Klugheim level for paths, I would be very impressed. Maybe they could follow in Phantasialands footsteps and add the hyper and a little kids ride, kind of like Taron and Raik. I believe it is going to be superhero themed, but if its a new precinct it would be nice to see a unique theme. Maybe like fantasy movie or something. There is a lot of scope to work with in this area of Movies, allowing heaps of detail, without costing too much. Take a look a Klugheim to see what I mean. Its in much greater detail then we can expect from a samller park, but Movie World has been stepping up their game with the Doomsday area, and this could have similar detail to Wild West Falls. If we notice, all of VRTP's new attractions have been heavily themed, so I'm sure we can expect something great out of this new attration. Below is a comparison between Wild West Falls and Klugheim to show that its possible to expect something like this, for a new precinct (which I'm begging will have a more down to Earth theme than super heros) This is Klugheim, a rocky themed part of Phantasland (famous for their themeing.) Even more amazing is that all of the rock is real, solid rock work. It probably surpasses some Disney attractions. The famous angle of Wildwest falls. While its not quite on the same level as Klugheim, it still has that impressive, fantasy world amazing detail kind of feel. I'm hoping that Movie World continues what they have done with Doomsday into the new Coaster, but maybe a little more like Wild West falls.
  15. How high is the chance that VRTP's major announcement could be bigger than we thought, and include Sea World? It would definitely count as a major announcement, and it would certainly be a massive investment. It would attract major crowds, to Movie World and Sea World, paying off majorly.
  16. Ok, themagician, thanks for the help with clearing that up. This is going to be a very cool ride.
  17. This photo is taken from themagician they have all credit. The only way I could do what I wanted was by taking a screen shot. What is this thing? It looks like its really far off to get any more info, but if any one knows what it does it may be helpful. My thought is that its for drilling into the ground to lay footings. If so, it looks really close to Arkham. Maybe they will interact? It could be a cool turnaround point, especially if he trains pass. Also, it looks like it goes over the swamp which could be pretty cool. Especially if it was an inversion, say zero G roll?
  18. By the way, this is the coaster someone thought was the Movie World 2017 coaster. https://www.google.com.au/search?q=mack+rides+layouts&safe=strict&client=firefox-b-ab&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiVv5 Its actually a Mega Lite called Giant Mine in No Limits.
  19. From all of this discussion that I've read mostly from the beginning, we have thus figured out about the coaster. 1. It is manufactured by Mack Rides so will look like this: 2. It will have a height above 200 feet or 60.96 so should look like this. 3. It may have inversions like this: 4. And Airtime Hills like this: 5. And comfortable trains like this: It appears that the 2017 Movie World roller coaster will have a combination of all of these roller coasters. (for those who care the rides shown are: Alpina Blitz, Behemoth, an intamin fact sheet, maverick, and the mack trains for the Mega coaster on their website.) This post was a mere visual aid. It kind of just restates what we've already figured out, but makes it visual for those who are a little unsure. It also sums up what we've figured out in a smallish post so readers don't have to constantly re-read pages to make sure their posts are up to date. Hope this helps some people out.
  20. Have to admit, my post was a bit dumb. I just hope the ride is good. If its amazing, I wont care if it has $50 lockers. Generally the people I go with dont want to go on the rides any way. So I go off with people who do and those who dont offer to take our stuff. But I understand that won't always be the case, so I'll try to only bring necessities.
  21. I agree with you I agree whole heartedly. And while I may have been one of the down voters, I've seen the flaws in my ways and have changed it. But back on topic, I dont believe Vikings Revenge will close. I dont see why it needs to. Its a loved ride, enjoyed by many, fills the gap as first big thrill ride, and is a good ride for every body to cool off with. If we're talking Sea World, I would rather them putting money into new attractions over putting money into removing old ones. Sea World, needs just a few more family rides, maybe even a family thrill ride. But thats another topic of discussion. Agree. Its just maintenance. There is no need for a closure of the ride, there haven't been any accidents, I don't believe it costs them too much... (I could be wrong) so I would assume it is just maintenance
  22. Money is money and more money is good for a theme park. Lockers provide more money (not much but some). More money means more rides. Other than having to pay extra, thats a pretty good deal isnt it?
  23. Thats pretty good Brad2912. With the way we've been going so far, we may as well have planned the ride oursleves. We've also created 62 pages of posts of a ride that is still constructing footings and hasnt even had an announcement yet. This is easily going to break the Doomsday-most-covered-ride record.
