What? This statement was at the time it was a scare maze and the laser tag arena was no longer operating. And they said "Kevil Hill is no longer an attraction," not Kevil Hill is no longer a permanent attraction. I'm not denying the area could be used in the future and never implied it couldn't, I just said why is Kevil Hill still on q4u website. Reason is DW obviously haven't got to removing it despite Kevil Hill being removed from Dreamworld's website.

Fright Nights 2018
Gold Coast Amusement Force replied to alldinoman17's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I would have loved to appreciate the sets but the lighting was very dark and you couldn’t really observe the scenes because you were going at a speed where you would get the jumpscare and be gone after. I did House of Kain and it was defiently a fun one. It was the longest, going for 5 miniutes. I didn’t get to see the sets or the stuff going on because most places were dark but it defiently had the most atmosphere. Only other one I did was Halloween because the line was 10 miniutes and the maze went for 1 miniute and that’s it. But defiently some basic scares if your in the right position. Defiently think hok was the best but they need to make people move slower and adjust lighting. Also, rides shut at around 945 and DC Rivals has problems so it was down for 30 miniutes when the line was at a hour wait. -

@pushbutton I see what you are saying but it’s more of the marketing in general. Are they marketing the experience of the ride or the features of the ride because I don’t think anyone cares about the features of the ride being agile and other things like that. -

It’s great for dreamworld to have a new ride because it could be a major draw card for families. My only concern is Dreamworld won’t know how to market it. I mean from the video already released, they are highlighting the wrong things and just making iride seem like the surfers paradise 7d cinema. I really hope they market this right so it actually brings in crowds. On Instagram when they posted the video, they got 4 comments.... That is ridiculously low for the announcement of a new attraction, ABC kids wheel got more attention. I think they need to look at their marketing scheme. -

Dreamworld FY-2018 Update
Gold Coast Amusement Force replied to Tim Dasco's topic in Theme Park Discussion
They put more time into shuffling around Ardent than they do in the future of DW. Although I do hope this means DW will be controlled by at least some people who understand how to operate a theme park. Doubt it however. Thanks for the update @Jamberoo Fan -
Movieworld Kids Area Expansion?
Gold Coast Amusement Force replied to Tin Foil Hat's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Why would you want more Scooby. It’s near a dead franchise so why would you invest in a new attraction and relate it to a dead franchise instead of a new one that is relevant like some you have mentioned above. -
I mean at least they aren’t taking any risks and are keeping the rides safe. But tot and hwsw are old and have aged and now require so much attention in terms of maintenance. That’s why Movie World’s attractions run better and with less maintenance (exception sdsc, wwf, aa) Dreamworld just need to sell I think unless they have enough money to replace all their old and outdated rides (wipeout, hwsw, tot to name a few)

Age Limit on The Giant Drop

This has been in place for a long while now. Probably just the mental capacity to be able to handle yourself at the top when you are frightened and not have a panic attack or faint. -
