The section closest to the bottom right opposite road runner is an interview room or training facility. Just tables, air conditioning, basic office setup. Further up is a store room for props, cars e.t.c. -

Aussie World Visit Jan19
Gold Coast Amusement Force replied to pushbutton's topic in Theme Park Discussion
So yeah, “Dreamworld had all of their marketing pushing it for Boxing Day“ is far from the truth. It was just amplified by us enthusiasts. But I can’t deny that they did partially say it was opening Boxing Day. -
What’s your thoughts on Australian theme park merchandise. Criteria to consider - price, quality and overall style. I’m going to say from person experience, Dreamworld is a bit more expensive but the items are better quality. I think these types of designs are really ugly and I don’t like the lightweight material used. However the tower of terror mugs are one of the coolest pieces of theme park merchandise I’ve seen.

Well he is know for being an asshole, stealing at parks, taking illegal POV videos and blocking people who disagree with him. Listen from 0:47 onwards -

Dreamworld Future Lab (Corroboree)

This would’ve been better to announce during Wipeouts closure but I get that it’s a government announcement so it’s never really anticipated. Why is there a kid with a football in a bush? Why is there a guy with two wives? Why is Sky Voyager still not open? And of course, my favourite comment “Can they throw in an extra few dollars to open the ride that’s been going to open since last year 🤔” -

Tower of terror closing would be a massive blow for Dreamworld. I don’t even think a big scale coaster could replace it. It would help, but tower of terror is such an iconic and unique ride. -

In regards to priority seating- Hi random Facebook commenter, Cosentino will be performing in the Dreamworld Exhibition Centre. You don’t need to pre-book seats, however, closer to the date you will be able to purchase Gold Ride Express which gives you access to front row seats 😊 -

The biggest waste of money has to be refurbishing wipeout just to have it stay open for one more year. -
How to fix Dreamworld
Gold Coast Amusement Force replied to Themeparkfan's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Point being the reason the plans were cancelled was because of customers not returning as anticipated but the anticipated amount of customer to Dreamworld factored in that SV was open, which it isn't and might not be for a while. -

I don't understand the logic. We cancel all plans for new rides and attractions which would have introduced a WWW expansion, dark ride, ampitheatre and lazy river because customers aren't returning as anticipated. Why did we anticipate that customers would return? Because of SV, which hasn't opened... Seriously what have we gained and lost at Dreamworld since the incident. Lost - Thunder River Rapids (Great famiy ride with decent theming) + The whole goldrush area Wipeout (Staple of the park, iconic) Dreamworld Cinema (meh) Park atmosphere and crowds Kevil Hill (good scare maze) Gained - Trolls Village (good addition) Corroboree and Tiger Island minor expansions .... I think that tells the whole story. Customers aren't going to return because you installed one new family ride. You take away a big thrill ride, a major family ride and a scare maze and respond with one new ride which can't live up to the experience given by TRR and is merely a marketing nightmare for the park. They've blown there budget on it, defect after defect. They either - a) Spend big, you've got a new family ride now you need a new thrill ride right now than more down the line as you retire others. b) Cost cut and drag yourself to the finish line, that being giving up on the park and selling it off. edit - I'm glad the WWW expansion and dark ride were cancelled however because that is certainly not what DW needs. -

If ardent invest and it goes wrong, they can sell the land and will make there money back plus more. So I don’t understand why they can’t just invest in the park right now knowing if they fail, they’ve got plan b. -
