  1. Would you prefer the final roll in Blue Fire or the initial roll in Takabisha?
  2. Probably head to some Asian park where there are less government restrictions and less of a focus on Safety.
  3. The huge demand was due to restricted ticket sales for each day, so possible to happen again also.
  4. I haven't been there for a while now but when I was, the park was crazy quiet in the arvo. Makes sense. Not upset with this, provided its temporary.
  5. This is the Delta strain I believe also, the highly infectious strain. Will be interesting to see what comes from this. Edit: Source: ABC Live Blog - https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-07-23/covid-live-updates-blog-sydney-lockdown-victoria-restrictions/100316238
  6. Right here on the Construction Blog thats not been updated since March! https://themeparks.com.au/blog/leviathan-construction?_ga=2.170334310.775209688.1627007436-283479558.1615532671
  7. Yes the games runs for 3 weeks, but as every other international event (edit: In Australia) has shown, people come for the event and stay for a holiday. A hotel is also different to a investment in a ride. A hotel has futher financial benefits from other uses (confrences ect ect) and would attract a wider audience than a new ride.
  8. They need to get onto building that hotel, with a number of venues in the GC, and relatively close to both Brisbane and GC airports, would be a solid option for tourists to stay
  9. These videos are the exact sort of "news reporting" you would see from a teens show like Totally Wild or what ever the current equivalent is these days. So great for that young teen audience who will either pester parents to go, or just turned 15 and have cash to burn from working after school jobs
  10. No you're thinking of Paradise Country
  11. Seeing how he wants an "arousement" from you, maybe you will come
  12. But then you're starting to get close to White Christmas and marketing for that.
  13. Site works like clearing/demo and ground prep is when teasers start. Going vertical is when it should be announced.
  14. Understand its established this is an office building, but I would love to wake to screaming riders also. If not for any other reason than it means I'm waking up at around 9-10ish and my child let me sleep in...
  15. I stand by, the Super Villians parade is the best yet, with the lasers and other lighting effects, smoke and the villians 'interact' with the crowd, more or less trying to 'scare' them, whereas the Super Heros just stand and wave. Don't get me wrong, my son who LOVES the flash gets excited seeing him (even though he ignored him wearing both flash shirt and hat) and was super excited when Green Lantern pointed him out and waved, but the rest of the parade was a bit Meh for him too. For reference hes 7
  16. I find the Villains Parade to be more captivating and just has that bit more energy with flame throwers, and people interacting with the crowd. Copying what @themagician said, this is literally just a parade with waving and I was a little disappointed considering how much it was built up, in my opinion although I could have just built it up in my head.
  17. Yeah for sure. I re-read what I wrote and it totally comes across in the wrong way. I was more just curious as to why, not blaming them for using an excuse.
  18. Which explains the sign out the front saying "reduced capacity due to circumstances out of our control" Would love to know why a train being dismantled is out of their control.
  19. I went on Doomsday 4 times yesterday (first time my son was tall enough and it was open) and as mechanical and structured as the ride is, its a 1 trick pony. Not much more it can do really except maybe an additional spin each way. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the length of Doomsday. Load and unload of Doomsday only takes forever due to the seating layout. An additional 2 ops would halve the time.
  20. I assumed as much. Would have added difficulty with low crowd numbers and somber skies.
  21. For a ride that seats so many people, and takes so long to check harness and seating, the cycle is way too short.
  22. I actually find this kinda hilarious since QLD only just relaxed the buffet COVID rules allowing buffets again. Also chiming in with everyone else. MW was great today, lots of staff and characters and low ride wait times. Some Nathan dude in a suit was walking around watching all the main street shows then chatting to his staff after them also, and noticed a lot of filming going on, some seemed professional too.
