Doomsday is a good update. Last I saw it had no arms. Progress. The hot dog stand has been posted before and when I've been and its open, its been SUPER popular. I think its a great addition, but the park still needs 1 more ride down next to WWF.

Has anyone seen this story posted anywhere else? The lack of reporting is a pretty loud message..

Swimsuits are dangerous, I guess WWW is now a nudest park?

Yeah was sarcasm. It doesn't work.

Just do what China does and say 1 timezone for the whole country regardless

Anyone know why Castaway Bay Sky Climb is closed? COVID restrictions for QLD outdoor playgrounds have lifted
-
Bit sad they aren't opening it. At a minimum all they need is a few of those those road works night construction lights to light up the areas. Strategically placed so the bases are hidden or covered up. Or its VRTP - Kings of theming, so just plonk them down wherever.

When 1 gets added, another is removed. As mentioned GL has a return date now of 18t December, Doomsday however had its 20th December date removed completely. Pounce n Bounce also had a return date at 1 point I saw, but its been removed now again.

Yeah a guy at Guest Services told me they were waiting on a replacement Chain and parts to modify/replace (he said replace but I dunno how that would work) the lift hill evac stairs. I've not seen any work done on the stairs but if the chain is going in and they are re-opening maybe the evac stairs are waiting until next years downtime. All our GC parks do this, and this forum is pretty evenly pissed at both companies for doing it. I would say although individuals will show bias, both companies get roasted evenly for their SBNO efforts.

Aussie World's New Coaster Under Construction

I still wouldn't call that "General Structural Maintenance and Upkeep". Village have a long way to go with PR. With GL no harm in advertising why they don't have an opening date and why they are waiting. With AA, if this is the case, come out and say it, tell us what part is replacing and why the extended delay.

My sister managed to purchase some tickets on an already "Sold Out" day.

Is that Tridents foundation/ride pad? Will we expect to see ride parts arriving soon? Its only 7 months until opening.
-
Yeah what I was thinking. And I think that area is theirs. Wasnt that the spot they want the hotel?
-
Maybe parts are now available / arrived in Australia

The New Atlantis - Construction Updates

If that was the first weighted test, it makes sense it is a less intense version. It also seemed quite short I thought the cycle would be around 2-3min seeing as it can hold around 38ish people per cycle, which would put it at the same capacity roughly as Storm. -
Wet N Wild could also update the location map for Mammoth Falls while they are fixing the park. Pretty sure that picture is of Mach 5 Web address in pic for proof. Hidden bookmarks as they are all work related stuff.

Do it. Then just build a multi-story car park, but really far away so it doesn't dwarf any of the rides. That would be crap if a building suddenly made Green Lantern or even Rivals seem semi small. Just modify the roof. Make it like the Seaworld Monorail, would make it more intense / attractive as it would capture the sound too.

What would peoples thoughts be if they dismantled Arkham and replaced it with a temp ride or 2 like what they did with Sky Flyer at seaworld for the 2-3 years while they finalise the ride and wait for the build time themeing of the new ride would be minimal, even at VRTP standards to keep unrequired costs down. They mean Sliders. VRTP have reviewed Wet n Wild and decided that it really needs new food outlets, and sliders are the best option. Water slides at a water park aren't actually required.
