  2. If QLD won't let a direct flight in, would they have to go via Sydney first? and do two separate quarantine periods?
  3. Dreamworld doesn't need to pay back the $70mil in 5 years. They need to pay back a bit and start showing they have enough of a business entertaining not killing and making a little money to get a loan from someone else. They will re-borrow to payback the $70mil at the eleventh hour.

  5. QLD is to shut the border to the rest of NSW and ACT (along with already excluded VIC) from 1am Saturday morning. This will be a blow to Theme Park attendance but a move I'm sure everyone in QLD has seen coming and not a surprise.
  6. No indications as such. These truly are dark times. Stupidly bright in the QLD Summer, but dark times.
  7. Correct me if im wrong but the pathway in won't be level? Also Painted themed column bases along paths Wait space for 3 trains, meaning preloading 3 trains of guests onto markers Appears to be only 1 service bay, so maximum 2 Trains Photo Kiosk wall, no merch store Digital wait time (should be standard on all rides now) "Instagram Feature" Dreamworlds world famous seating is going into the observation section, with water, next to the entry point Test Seat Weatherproof storage lockers 203m of queue Express, Single and Spinner seat have combined 60m length Assuming Express, Single and Spinner queue is on the left and splits into 1 for each 1/2 way down
  8. Right in the middle of school holidays. Unfortunate for them if they wanted to swing the news cycle into a positive for their re-opening.
  9. I've been a few times and they have for sure lowered the volume. The first time just after the reopen it was horribly loud. After the lighting upgrade to the disco room the volume has lowered and its probably at the right volume now.
  10. I still dream of duelling normal/inverted like at USS but I feel this is likely a cheaper option.
  11. Intamin just uploaded a few concepts to their youtube. Vertical LSM Coaster Giga Splash Ultra Splash Looks identical to the MACK version Hot Racer Compilation
  12. That sucks. Little one is finally tall enough for it and he is really keen to give it a go.
  13. Update on this, Kids get served the same meals. Saves time / space in the kitchen.
  14. Sorry to revive a super old thread. We're planning on taking the little one to Outback Spectacular but there isn't much info on what the "Kids Steak" and "Kids Chicken" is. Can anyone elaborate further, like types of cuts or how their cooked. Thanks heaps.
  15. North Brisbane, but I understand KFC doesn't use frozen chicken or only have backup frozen chicken? so they actually run out more frequently than you would expect. Still semi on topic, during/just after the 2011 Floods, McDonalds Brisbane was running out of stock and fast, and was very public about what they had run out of and the obvious reasons why yet people still complained, and then bought other in stock items from McDonalds. Food for thought. I'm hungry now.
  16. No they sold me chips and and the sign out the front said KFC, implying they sold Fried Chicken. For anyone wondering about the story, I then got a burrito from the complex next door and had a good night.
  17. I mean I went to KFC once and they literally ran out of chicken.
  18. I've seen business insurance claims in the $10's of millions and the premiums only slightly increase (relative to the original premium) the next year. Admittedly the main claim that comes to mind was a structural fire and second was hail damage, not a Liability claim, but the outcome is similar. If the maximum is $4.5million and they are expecting in the $100,000s then I can't see the premiums adjusting too much. The premiums will likely have a higher increase if they can't meet new risk mitigation criteria which the insurance companies would have introduced after the event.
  19. Would dreamworld have known this was coming around this time period and could there be any relation to the delay in opening their park post COVID?
