  1. Not at all. HWSW and MDMC are very reliable rides, and have required little maintenance over the last couple years. Not to mention HWSW being closed for the day a couple of days ago, likely for a quick inspection to make sure its all good. At the end of the day both rides are just coasters. Daily morning maintenance would keep both of those rides going strong. And at the end of the day, I could go on and on about this, but I am still convinced that Gold Coast parks have some rides closed for cost cutting. Ive mentioned this before, but Rainbows End attractions typically only shut for a maybe a week max each year, however normally just for a few days. Gold Coast parks typically 1-2 months. Its either because Kiwis work harder than Aussies, or GC theme parks are cost cutting or have a lack of labour or other resources.
  2. Dreamworld has made a few significant changes to this years maintenance schedule: - TOT is now 27 Aug, pushed back another month - Hot Wheels maintenance will now be during September - Rocky Hollow Log Ride July maintenance cancelled, rescheduled for 2019 - The 2 month closure of MDMC has been cancelled.
  3. Green lantern is now 26 Aug TOT is now 25 July
  4. Not to mention HWSW, Rocky Hollow Log Ride, and The Claw which were all closed today also. Full list of rides currently closed today: - Claw - Buzzsaw - Tower Of Terror - Hot Wheels - Log Ride - Sheks Ogre - HydroCoaster - Rippers - Dreamworld Express
  5. The reopening of Dreamworlds Bus Stop has been pushed back until late October, likely due to a delayed reopening of Buzzsaw.
  6. omg does it not click man! Pic of theme park - poor description = misleading and clickbait
  7. -As expected, Tower of Terror did not reopen successfully today. It has instead been pushed back to the 16th of July. - The Claw closed all day yesterday however according to Ride Express it has now reopened. - Maintenance indicates GD is open however Ride Express indicates it is still closed. - Super Tubes has been pushed back another month, indicating a reopening date of 1.10.18. That's over 3 months of maintenance. - Little Rippers has been pushed back until 16th July.
  8. What the actual hell I was really hoping they WOULDNT choose that name!!
  9. Thats an absolute SHIT tonne of maintenace during school holidays. 5 major thrill rides shut, 2 major slides and planned maintenance for RHLR bang smack in the middle of holidays. This has been timed very badly
  10. What could possibly go wrong with a seat though? They all go by a centralized harness controls, the only thing I can think of is the seatbelts starting to wear???? 8 seats closed is total BS. They were all fine before the maintenance. That's 1/3 of capacity of the claw gone, now they are wasting money on power when there is a 1/3 less people riding.... just idiots.
  11. Interesting. I didn't look at the Ocean Parade list of attractions, I saw that they have removed the title "Zombie Evolution" in the illustration of the building (you can see it is just gray now) so I thought it was going to be closed. Kevil Hill's actual page is giving a 404 error on Dreamworld's website now so something must be happening with it. The easy way to fix the flowrider problem...
  12. It would also be really awesome to see them relocate Flowrider. Now that the shop is closed, Flowrider is even more stupid to have there. It would be good to see then move flowrider to around the Shell area of WWW
  13. That would make sense considering they have closed Kevil Hill.
  14. The Claw - Most Likely will be open according to plan (2nd) Panda - Will likely be pushed back judging by condition Tower - Probably will reopen during holidays but not according to plan (2nd) Arkham - No chance of opening according to plan. I think for the Buzzsaw, we are probably looking at a reopening date at or around the Christmas period. September school holidays would be nice, but as they have made it clear this is going to be an extended closure, Christmas is probably more realistic. I'm going to Gold Coast again during the beginning of August, so I am hoping that if one of the 3 DW thrill rides that currently have reopening dates are pushed back then they will delay planned maintenance for either Sidewinder or TOT, as these are essentials when visiting Dreamworld. Does anyone know why they would start putting so many seats out of service? And why does this always seem to happen after planned maintenance? (Tailspin was fine before sep '17 maintenance, then had 4 seats out of action after).
  15. Dont come onto these forums and insult people just for the sake of it. I’m sure someone will remove you shortly.
  16. Guys. This is halerious. This is a video inside Screaming Right Handers. A slide at WWW. Look how dirty that is! Video was uploaded today so it must be pretty recent
  17. Trust me, there's no way that will go according to plan. Basically find how many days it is planned to be closed for, multiply that by 4 and that's how long it will be shut for.
  18. The Claw today had its 5th push back, now until 2nd July. The Tower of Terror is now closing until 2nd July also. Sword Swings also closed unexpectedly according to maintenance page, opening 2nd July. It's probably best for DW to do that planned maintenance on TOT now as the ride is clearly falling apart.
  19. Come on, the only one that's bad is the Log Ride. Everything else is a pass in my books.
  20. Will I be seeing you at Dreamworld on Aug 4, Skeet? Meet at front gates 9:45 ?
