In a very surprising turn of events, Tower of Terrors maintenance period has been pushed FORWARD, to the 2nd of June. Could this just be a typo? Or have they fixed a problem that they weren't expecting to get until the old re-opening date? VERY excited anyway.

Rough assumption, since it says "New kid on the block" and since it seems like in the photos shared that there is certainly not a themepark around it.

This is a new park.

So... maintenance?

Superman Escape won't get a refurb for a long time, same with Jet Rescue. I don't think Tower of Terror would get anything changed anytime soon, because there isn't really a need for it. It's fine how it is. Like many other people have said, watch the grammar... you make alot of mistakes that makes it difficult for many people to read.

I just think there isn't as much as a demand for the ride, so they don't have it open. I drove past on the weekend at about 1 o'clock, and there was probably only about 100 -200 cars that I could see in the car park What's the point in having a ride open that doesn't have enough demand for it?

How odd, I was there on Monday too, and yet the audio wasn't working for me... I believe it is a problem with a few of the carts, I asked one of the op's one time about why it wasn't working.. and she said that they were having issues with the quality and were concerned that it could damage the speakers. Interesting to hear that your experience was good.

Sorry. I didn't think of it like that.

Actually.. maybe he's got a point. They could be creating this show to co-inside with the coaster. It is perfect timing..

I have some bad news to report Joz... at 5:14pm, the phone died of low battery percentage. The charger did everything it could to save it, but unfortunately it was too late.

Just browsing through Instagram and noticed that GoldCoastParkz are claimjng the ride is themed to the flash.. even though it is bright pink. Also need to charge 😬

I'd say no, it Just by looking at where the track and supports are, it doesn't seem like it will be as big as the flash's, but it will still be a very large loop.

We've always known that, but for people that didn't.. it just emphasises the importance of Ride maintenance and ride safety.

So, now we know when Tower of Terror will be re-opening! I'm glad that its so soon. Although, wipeout's maintenance has been pushed back even further, now going until the 28th of June.

Thanks for the update @themagician! It's great to see that they are refurbishing the main street.

Top Thrill Dragster The Flying Dinosaur El Toro Twisted Colossus Fury 325 Movieworld Hypercoaster Lightning Rod Blue Fire Helix Can't wait to visit Japan next christmas.. will finally get to ride The Flying Dinosaur!

I haven't been to a themepark outside of Australia before, but I we will soon book for a holiday to Dubai for next March. So pumped to try out the Formula Rossa and some of the other rides Ferrari World has to offer. Although, If i could choose of a ride that I haven't been on that looks amazing, I would have to say either El Toro or The Flying Dinosaur. They both just look so amazing, smooth and intense.

@Rollercoaster_Lover congratulations! You've hit 100 downvotes. How do you want to celebrate?

Your very good at this. Yeah, I did make it up. Just on another note, If you look on Dreamworld's website, you will see that The Rip is also closed without a maintenance period scheduled. So i don't think we should be worrying about seeing Tower of Terror going/being closed for too long.

Oh yeah. I didn't actually do that - I found it and thought it was real. Apologies

No. I'm not.

I was just thinking about this earlier. And I have thought... where is the "dream" part of Dreamworld?

He's 11, what do you expect?

they can but they wont.

I know you stated "more often than not", although I was just recently at the park last weekend, and the kids area was absolutely packed full. Big Red Car had a full line, and so did Dorothy's Teacups and the little octopus boat ride. I agree, most of the time it is dead now, but i'm sure they will bounce back soon.
