Staff at Dreamworld are currently treated worse than ever.

The ride is closed because there was an incident at the ride a few months ago, I highly doubt it will re open and if it does it shouldn’t.

This is exactly what has started happening from yesterday, the queue line is now inside and the preshow is playing on a loop. The switchbacks outside are now for overflow.

Possibly, but I think it’s just for the Buzzsaw annual maintenance, they block off that area every year while Buzzsaw is down for maintenance.

Greg isn’t the only one who has come to DW form down the road recently. DW’s Operations Manager and head of Attractions and Aquatics have been let go and replaced with their Village Roadshow counterparts.

TOT II hasn’t been closed for maintenance, it’s been closed to save money. No maintenance has been going on inside, it’s just been sitting dormant and reopening randomly when something else closes for unexpected maintenance. It’s actual maintenance is later in the year, it will close again for actual annual maintenance later in the year. Nothing but the usual Dreamworld cost cutting at the expense of guest experience to make the books look better for the end of financial year.

And almost everything else closed by 4. The carousel and the dronkey flyers close at 4pm, there’s literally nothing for kids under 110cm to do do after 4 o’clock.

Last night wasn’t the launch party for Sky Voyager, it was for something unrelated. They were just using the staff who happened to be there for this event for mock guests for training purposes.

Sky Voyager will NOT be open by Easter. 😂

At the rate they’re haemorrhaging longtime/senior attractions staff, I don’t know who they think they’re going to have left to “invest” in.

90% of the entertainment staff are casual many only fixed term causal too. So I wouldn’t imagine there would be any redundancies, just have their shifts cut way back.

From what departments exactly? Because they’re hiring more attractions staff at the moment.
