Here's a new POV of the ride by CoasterLife; the ride has sped up SIGNIFICANTLY from the POV the park posted!

Just to be clear, you will have to pay to watch the documentary. $7 USD for a pre-order I believe, with the price increasaing when it officially releases. It can be rented for cheaper however.

Lol the coaster right next to Steel Taipan has a chain that allows a rollback and that seems to work just fine. 😆

Sledgehammer is not the same ride model. That is a Zamperla Giant Discovery, Sledgehammer is a Discovery Revolution. Same manufacturer, that's all.

Is it not weird that the park having made an official public announcement regarding the closure? Surely they'd want to put it out there to start up the hype in mainstream for any new ride they will be getting.

They could always choose to sell the coaster to another park and have it relocated, I would have thought they's make more money that way than to scrap it?

Something that I'm not sure has been noticed is that unlike the total Blue Fire clones, this coaster will only have a single station platform. Blue Fire is the only version that actually uses both but all the others still have it, besides this one. The most trains this could run is three, but two is most likely. An easy way to tell if this will only run two trains is if friction brakes are added to the end of the MCBR or not.

Alton Towers is most definitely not short on space.

I could perhaps see some sort of family coaster coming here, as they are relatively cheap, maybe by Gerstlauer?
