  1. Haha yeah….. sounds about right.
  2. So does anyone know what’s actually wrong with GL and when it might be fixed?
  3. WWF, GL and SE all down at the moment.
  4. Well it’s official. There will be no events industry left soon.
  5. I went to MW today. Dommsday still down, with no visible works happening. SE was working well, with all effects working including water on stairs. WWF was working well with all effects when I went on it in the morning, but closed after lunch due to technical difficulties. Unsure if it ended up re-opening. GL is back to only running two trains, making the operations seem even slower. No Audio on the trains again. Rivals and Scooby both running normally with everything working.
  6. Was at the park today. Superman working well after it’s maintenance period, and they have actually fixed the water effect on the stairs now too. Was a reasonably busy day for a weekday. Green lantern still having frequent issues and only running two trains. The wait for it for most of the day was around an hour.
  7. Some of the maintenance periods have now been updated for the rest of the year. Most notable is a 3.5 month closure for WWF
  8. They would of known the ride was on its last legs for some time now. Wouldn't any company find it prudent to have a strategic plan of having a replacement lined up for the inevitable day when it was no longer able to operate/not cost appropriate to keep operating it?
  9. All references to Arkham have now been removed from the website. rip old girl
  10. I’m at the park today. WWF hasn’t opened all day due to technical difficulties. I’d be a little pissed if I was a one off visitor with Scooby, GL, WWF, Arkham, doomsday all closed
  11. Movie world now have some of the maintenance up for next year as below
  12. The chain has arrived and they have been re-installing it this week. GL also now has a listed opening date on their website of dec 18
  13. AA is still referenced on the website and still listed as under maintenance. Are village ever going to actually confirm it’s going?
  14. The boats physically hit each other??? thats not good. Which lift are you talking about? the first smaller one after the station? I didn't think it was possible for there to be stacking as your first block section is the bottom of the first lift hill. Quite often you wait on the rubber conveyer for the boat in front to be far enough up the actual lift hill part before proceeding.
  15. Its not the same without all you can eat and the dessert bar though
  16. We've looked at options," said CEO Clark Kirby when asked about the future of the dormant Arkham Asylum roller coaster in today's investor presentation. thats CEO speak for its never going to reopen imo.
  17. Can't remember if its been mentioned or not, but I note that GL Maintenance period has had it's November end date removed. It now has no scheduled end date, and joins its mate AA with no set re-opening date. Anyone know if its an actual maintenance thing, or perhaps part of the covid restrictions?
  18. It's hardly severe weather today. I guess it makes sense to close from an operational standpoint though as patronage would be super low on a cool and rainy day.
  19. Maybe additional track work required in that section? could be metal fatigue or cracking needing replacement? It could explain the blown out maintenance period till November now.
  20. I see GL maintenance period has been extended again. I wonder if it’s for actual maintenance or COVID related? if it’s not opening till nov that will mean that it has only operated 2 months in the last year.
  21. Any ideas if ricks will re open with the park does? I assume they won’t be able to offer their usual buffet?
  22. They've been updated again since @themagician's post. That will be very disappointing if its true. GL has already had major downtime at the start of the year for the repaint.
  23. Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but I didn't mind the new ad. Maybe it is a sign that re-opening isn't too far around the corner. We can only hope!
  24. I didn’t find the locations to be too bad. It’s a tricky one as you want it somewhere prominent where people will see it and use it, but also not so prominent that it detracts from theming. The ones at ride exits were done quite well but the others throughout the park were kinda of just put there I guess. I doubt they will be staying after the virus situation comes to an end but we shall see.
  25. FYI those are @AlexB’s words not mine 🧐
