Dreamworld's new Shockwave ad.
-
^Moto Coaster?
-
^ It got replaced by something even more awesome! A 270 foot flying B&M Coaster.... Nah; hasn't been replaced yet. Just a plant sitting there.
-
^ Entrance is in Ocean Parade.
-
Are the two beavers back? Last I saw they were missing? But maybe if they are back now that it is just maintenance around all of Nick Central.
-
I thought we all knew it was a Disk O Coaster? In Dreamworld's release, they continually referred to the wave-like structure and rises and dips?
-
Yes, SOME of those people, but also others. No idea though. I know it's still rumors, and that it's not true until officially announced. It's just nice to speculate a bit, even if it turns out to be a dud. Only time will tell.
-
Could be. o.O I never really walked around that bit. More and more people are claiming that Dreamworld actually cancelled the contract with Nick. Dunno if this is true or what. And people have said Dreamworks are the next thing?
-
Spongebob is still under maintenance for now. Not sure yet. I'm curious in the same thing. Maybe Swirly Flyer? No idea.
-
Gazza, 2 rides have reopened without theming. EDIT: The name has not changed for Swinger Zinger, but I believe that the name of the Merry Go Round has changed (because it mentioned something to do with Nickeloden).
-
Yer; Randy mentioned that yesterday. o.O I didn't take the photos by the way, just so you know. There were also red containers near the staff car park area? Have they also been there for a while?
-
One ride under maintenance. Two rides already lost theming. But I don't know, I'm still on the fence for this one because Dreamworld haven't yet confirmed it, but there is some evidence supporting it. I guess we'll wait and see soon.
-
The other day I noticed themeing disappearing on Spongebob and Swinger Zinger; but I shook it off as a maintenance thing. But, now, it seems to be going around a lot, Nick has cancelled the contract with Dreamworld. Does this also mean that Pipeline Plunge's theming will soon disappear also?

Some photos from Outsiders: There's more photos, but those are the ones that I think are worthy of being seen. Obviously construction is moving ahead, and demolition of the Bat shop has begun.
-
Ehhh, I don't like the look of those capacity figures!! And I think we are looking at the basic Skyloop. :S
-
Checked out Dreamworld today. Nothing has really 'happened' around the construction areas. All that's noticeable is that the supports in the middle of the car park are now behind the fence.
-
Is there like definitely a new coaster coming? Couldn't they just be remaking those Gardens out the front??? PS: DJ Clayton mentioned this to me as a possibility.
-
Maurer's promo video for the general 'type' of coaster we're discussing stated that the capacity can double if 2 trains are used. I hope they get that second train then. :S Mick Doohan only runs 2 during the Summer Holidays now (from what I've seen. But then again. Last time I went on it was in summer holidays). I'll go looking for that video now.

I simply didn't post a picture because I forgot? Is that OK to you? The emailer asked not to be named. In the email they said how they know information about it going 'Straight up, then back down, then under itself'. Then they said 'Code name ..project 1876 apparently'.
-
^ The only thing that fact was based on was a sticker on the steel outside the park (posted by Outsiders). An anonymous emailer stated that the project name is 'Project 1876' (also the same as the est. date of Maurer).
-
^ Exactly what I thought.
-
I'm a little worried about the theming, too, seeing as it's not even built yet and it opens on June 25th (and probably an earlier media day). With TOTII, they finished the ride but kept out some aspects of the theming because they didn't have enough time to get them in before launch. Why else would they of kept them out?? I hope this isn't the case for Shockwave and let's wait and see what good ride they can get for $6/7 million. :-)
-
Yer, I posted that photo (above). It seems as if the station will be located in the foreground of the photo, so I think it makes logical sense that it'll be a Disk O Coaster. At least I think and hope so. If not a Disk O Coaster, I dont really think it's a worthy ride for a new attraction. :S

In the left, we can see some landscaping is happening. And obviously, River Rapids are under maintenance at the moment. Nothing too special, just wanted to share.

Sea World definitely needs an expansion to the park. At dinner the other night, I heard one of my mum's friends saying how she went to Sea World with her two daughters (5 and 8 using the VIP Passes) and how they were utterly disappointed at how much it lacked. They said that because of that they're probably going to change to a Dreamworld pass. :\ And just want to let you know that I'm going to use that link on the Outsider's page, but I will tag Parkz in the post because I did find this out from you guys. Or if you'd prefer I put a link to this page, just let me know so I can change it.
