Since there is a million threads about what should be replaced or what’s next for a theme park, why not discuss about ideas for a new themed area for Dreamworld! The Gold Rush Country is basically gone so what do people think should be replacing it. Do keep in mind that the area currently is home to The Giant Drop, BuzzSaw and is going to be the home of the new coaster. The area highlighted is the area that needs to have a new theme. Since the area is nearly as big as WWW, it could be split into two smaller themed area or one giant themed area. I personally think a futuristic area or a new western area would be good but the new coaster is most likely going to be snake themed.

Yay another thread! I think lots of people would agree with the MACK Power Splash but I do want to see a family water thrill ride with decent theming and animatronics similar to Wild West Falls but more modern.

It’s going to become Kids World again (A kids themed area with very little theming).

I recently visited the Dreamworld website and I have discovered that Dreamworlds website had recently been updated. The schools tab has been removed. The Claw, Skadoosh, Vintage Cars, Fun Spot, Art Room, Fun Maze, Big Red Car and Play School Room have new icons. “Wildlife” and “Themed Precincts” has been added to Dreamworlds rides/experiences and maintenance page. The “DreamWorks Experience” and “ABC Kids World” pages are yet to be updated Tea Cups and Dronkey Flyers are under scheduled maintenance however I cannot confirm that they are under maintenance. HWSW probably won’t reopen until Mid Late Spring

DC Rivals may have not been named until vertical construction was well underway but that doesn’t mean the same thing is going to happen with the new coaster. Dreamworld can name the coaster before construction has started. I’m not saying it will be named soon, I just said I hoped it will be named soon.

Hopefully this means the coaster is going to be named soon.

I don’t know any but there are kids whose parents are feeding them to much. It may confuse some (not all) people so it’s better to add the word “Combined”.

So here is all the current mistakes that I have identified on Dreamworld’s map. Most of them are only minor however but still should be fixed. There still might be some mistakes that I have missed. Some of these mistakes were on the Nov/Dec 2019 map but I missed them and didn’t add them on the previous posts. The closed cafe (I) still remains Tower of Terrors point and shop (3/H) still remains half a year after its closure.....😕 Minimum weight 50kg for what? Per person or combined? A little formatting error and The Giant Drop is still part of Main Street. The Koala Photos are still a pay to use attraction. Remember that 🐨+📸= 💰 💰 💰 The Nocturnal house, Badu shows and the Rainbow Serpent are all experiences/shows. Note that the star circled is the experience/show icon. MAD Jungle Jam is a experience. Tail Spin has a height limit of 200cm... maybe Dreamworld wants to give tall people false hope of going on any thrill rides. Hot Wheels has a g force of 3? and Kickback Cove is an experience for every Instagrammar.

Also who thinks the sword swing is a mild kids ride. I mean that thing is faster and more thrilling than Gingys Glider and yet that is classified as moderate family ride.

I did say most of them had been fixed. This was just a flashback to last year.

Since some of us are stuck in quarantine, so here is something interesting. I was looking through some park maps of Dreamworld and I stumbled across the map from November/December of last year. I then found a truckload of mistakes on the map that sometimes is hard to believe that Dreamworld would literally miss it. I wonder how many people got confused over the park map since it was peak time. Fortunately most of these mistakes has been fixed. This list is also most likely incomplete so I will add if I discover more. So there is two 60s? All of these facades had been demolished. These rides are moderate thrill rides not mild. The Full of Beans cafe (L) and Tower of Terror (3)/(H) are both permanently closed The cafe (I) is closed Tail Spin has a height limit of 200cm The Giant Drop is part of Gold Rush not Main Street Opps.... a little typo I’m sure that the Koala Photos are a pay to use attraction... I thought HWSW has a g force of 3... Why is there a random “40” with no description of it? The Hot Dog Stand (N), V8 (46)and the Between the Flags store (T) are all closed and the Hair Braids thing (S) has moved. I thought “59” was The Shell?

In addition to this post, how long do people think these rides have left? Wild West Falls Adventure (21yrs old) Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster (17yrs old) Puss in Boots Sword Swing (37yrs old) Shrek's Ogre-Go-Round (36yrs old) Batwing Spaceshot (13yrs old) Some older kids rides in both MW and DW And how long will Dreamworld keep the kids maze and Kickback Cove 😕

How long do you think the rides below have left? I know that some rides may still live another decade, I just want to see what other people think. 'Sidewinder' is also a species of rattlesnake.

Kickback Cove seems to be a event event too.

Dreamworld donated 755kg of leftover food from their cafes/restaurant to OzHarvest after closing.

I’m not saying that Australia should go to lockdown I meant that Australia should take more action like closing more public places such as museums and shopping centres. And I don’t know why we are going off topic.

New Zealand is going to be in lockdown from midnight today. This means everyone has to stay home and they cannot leave. Police will be patrolling. Scott should take more action like what Jacinda did to NZ but it’s probably too late.
