  1. The first pic is a cover over the Walt and Mickey Statue for refurbishment, not electrical housing. Nice try though.
  2. I’ve worked at DisneyWorld have you? Not shooting my mouth just commenting my take on their operations, do you not agree closing three major attractions at one time is a bad move? A theme parks goal should be to have its attractions in operation as much as possible, what good is a park full of closed rides.
  3. They aren’t doing it well if they still need the month of maintenance. Disney must do it’s maintenance inbetween it’s 365 days of operation.
  4. I’ve made a mistake and don’t know how to delete a post apologies 😂
  5. They get a repaint every maintenance period do they? I don’t think so. How come overseas parks can consistently keep their attractions open but we can’t? Is the painting team different there or are those parks muppets too?
  6. For a park that only has around 10 big rides it does a terrible job spreading them out with maintenance. Does it really take a month as well, it’s cost cutting at its finest
  7. Haha I think there’s a miscommunication. The track has not and will never change 😂 I’m suggesting they replace the rough areas for new “precision” designed pieces because it will give a better ride, extend the trains longevity and is a much cheaper option than building an entirely new coaster. Wheels do have a huge impact on the smoothness of a coaster, that’s why B&Ms are smoother in USA/Europe than they are in China, the track isn’t different it’s the wheels.
  8. What I’m saying is those track transitions are rough (Always have been), then you add on general wear and tear of the trains and you have yourself a rough ride. By replacing these rough track designs with new smooth ones the ride will be much more pleasant, maybe even add some more force in a good way to the s-bend that was initially designed just to dodge buildings.
  9. I was really hoping for Wipeout to be replaced with a Tourbillon themed to be a sort of upgrade to the old wipeout. They are similar size and could easily be tied into the surf theme. Pic in case your not familiar.
  10. It’s not so much that the track is getting worse it’s the aging of the trains wheels and the wobble room. By today’s standards the ride is quite rough and I think smoothing it out will extend its lifetime and popularity because it will be more reridable.
  11. You might be on to something there. The coaster is Steel Taipan, and the spinning car is the Hissteria upcharge.
  12. The best thing would be if Dreamworld retracked the big turns and the s-bend’s. Those parts are getting very rough. Add some new themeing and the desperately needed second train and the ride could go another 10 years. Look at Python at Efteling. It’s too iconic to demolish so easily.
  13. Seems like we might be nearing the end of our only full sized inverted coaster. I’m actually a big fan of Arkham, just needs a second train to improve the terrible capacity.
  14. Sea world really is making a mess of itself isn’t it 😂 the ride was announced mid year and still hasn’t gone vertical. Pretty shocking really
