I haven’t been to the Gold Coast yet. But does it normally become full during the peak (like what you said above)? Do they need more capacity (like longer or double decker buses or monorails or trams)?

The border between NSW and QLD is currently closed until we have no cases of transmission for 28 days. Which will NEVER happen until there is a vaccine! And already it's been so much of a struggle to get to the Gold Coast. that I've never been there. So the answer is no, and it never has been!

I think that it would be a good idea to have a bus or monorail line from Movie World to Helensvale Station. Stopping at: Movie World, Topgolf, Australian Outdoor Spectacular, Wet N Wild, then Helensvale Station. I'm not gonna even talk about closing down Wet N Wild. Good Day. હા, મેં કર્યું.

It would be quite devastating if Tumble Bug goes. Because just after COVID started, I felt ready to go on Tumble Bug. But I'm guessing it's too late, what a shame. Are there any Troika's in Australia or nearby?

It is only TEMPORAILY! I think it's a good idea to have a temporary ride like Power Surge until COVID-19 has finished (no physical distancing or any other COVID rules). And once Luna Park can get more money again by concerts at the Big Top, and hiring out Crystal Palace. Then it would be a good idea to start looking for rides. And even if there was no COVID-19. You would have to wait though the planning permissions. And the complaints from the neighbors. So having a thrilling, safe. But also cheap, and temporary is the best way during this period between rides. And if Luna Park after the contract is over isn't ready to get a new ride in (maybe because of COVID-19 or planning permissions, or the neighbors). They can always get another ride in for a little bit or use a different company. I think Space Jam (if the neighbors are okay with it) would be a perfect spot for now where Moon Ranger used to be! Also maybe Hurricane, or Roundup, or Body Rock would be good for now. I would personally like to see Hurricane there. And maybe also bringing back Pirates Revenge for the Summer? There's quite a few choices. And when you are looking into a permanent ride. There's tons of choices!

I'm guessing it's going to be apart of the temporary rides? If that's the case, that would be a good idea as money is tight and it would be good to wait until after COVID where there is more money to buy a ride. And having a temporary ride in between building a permeant ride is good as well. If it's permeant. DON'T GO BACK TO THE 2000's, PLEASE! PLEASE! I'M JUST BEGGING YOU, PLEASE!

If Dreamworld shuts down this 4 named coaster. Big Dipper, Cyclone, Sidewinder, GoldCoaster. Whatever you call it. There will only be 2 roller coasters and 6 thrilling flat rides remaining in the park. Not even Wonderland in it's dying days was like that! Movie World seems to be the best theme park now in the Gold Coast thrills wise. Movie World has 5 coasters, 1 log flume, and 2 thrilling flat rides. And Sea World has 4 coasters and 1 thrilling flat rides. Dreamworld is slowly becoming destroyed. Dreamworld is the next Wonderland. And Ardent Leisure is the new Sunway.

You mean Shockwave at Dreamworld? We don't have that much room for a Disk'O Coaster. The only spot I can see is in Lavender Green. And then you will have to get permission to get permeant rides there as well with the planning permissions to build a ride in the first place. And Luna Park just withdrew allowing rides up to 14 meters tall that are temporary to be put into Lavender Green. I think a Mega Disk'O would be best, just like what I said above. And also Dreamworld isn't selling Shockwave yet. Shockwave would be sold or scrapped if Dreamworld goes bust soon. Or Dreamworld sells it in 10-20 years when it gets too old.

This is all better then Raging Waters! I hear people get it into arguments and get unwell trying to get those passes!

I can confirm that the Moon Ranger will be closed. It's now public knowledge and staff aren't worried about talking about it. We know that the ride will be replaced by something else. We could see this around mid to late 2021. We don't know what it will be, so we can all speculate! I'm thinking a Disk'O ride would be a good idea. Specifically the Mega Disk'O with 40 seats. Putting it where the kids rides are now. And have the kids rides being put where the Moon Ranger is now, or at Lavender Green. It would be themed to the Whirler (a former ride at LPS). With the current Whirler sign as the new entrance. The eye of the sign would be on the floor of the ride vehicle. And the track would be coloured red. There would also be a food and drink stand on the side of the ride themed to the ride (like the Helter Skelter Cafe). It would be the largest Disk'O in Australia (by seats). I've seen on the bottom of the ride some wheels that have been put on. Could this mean that the Moon Ranger could become a travelling fair? We don't know. My final remarks on the ride is: 'The time was going to come, you can see how old it was as you could see it was made in West Germany. I sadly never went on the ride to prevent the park being 9ft deep in vomit. But I hope whatever comes next will be great (like a Disk'O)!

Especially if you go to the April 4th 2004 snapshot and go to the Park News section. There's some information about the closure of the park. And about when they had Marvel Characters. There are some items like images that have stopped working now. If you go onto the website now. You have an error because the domain has since been closed.

I think Wonderbuzz might have been the old name for the Wonderland Sydney Youtube channel. I don't think there was a website for WS. But try going to the Wayback Machine if possible and you may find it there. The M7 was under construction when WS closed. You can still find clear satellite photo's of the park on Google Earth Pro when it was abandoned in December 2004. It also includes the M7 under construction.

I've always had it in the back of my mind for a Legoland Australia since I was 7 at Warnavale in the Central Coast. I've already found some land next to the station that could be used for the park. It would be something similar to Legoland California. I actually rang up Legoland California multiple times when it was the middle of the night there and talk for about a hour at most talking about this idea, and all kinds of nonsense!

There were markings. But people just bunched up at the top while announcements went off to physical distance. So there were no staff enforcing it. And at the wave pool, everyone bunch up at the top corners of the wave pool because the waves were highest and roughest. While everyone at Luna Park does physical distance on the line most of the time, and everyone is fine if you ask them to physical distance in the lines. So it was just a normal queue there. Just with markings and announcements asking you to physical distance. This was also the same when queuing up for food. But with no markers and no announcements. And every other queue had markers, but no announcements. And no staff would enforce it, even though they had COVID-19 marshals. It does make me very uncomfortable nowadays when people aren’t physical distancing or wearing masks. As I do need to keep my Dad and Grandmother safe, because they’ve just both had surgery.

Ammar Khan is doing Wonderland Sydney. But David Bala was doing World’s Of Wonder. But since he is now General Manager of Western Sydney Theme Parks Ltd. He would of either merged the project. Or most likely scraped the project. The Wonderland Sydney Project is still going. But I would consider World’s Of Wonder dead.

Hi there everyone! Today is October 3rd 2020. Which means it's the first day of a COVIDSAFE Raging Waters. It was good only at certain times. The wave pool was not open for most of the morning. They said it was running. But there were people from maintenance scrambling all around the pool trying to fix it. Queue lines were dependant on the slides. You would be able to get on Whirlwind at most 12 minutes. But it would take over 40 minutes to get on Tantrum! And you only have around 700 people there! This seems to be because there's sometimes a gap of over 10 minutes for clearance to go down. Physical Distancing just didn't exist here. Especially in the queues and the Wave Pool. Masks could not be used in the pools. So I was the only one wearing a mask in the whole park! And that's only until I got in the Cabana for the first time. Announcements and signs were planted around the park too. The food was good. But there were some shops have been closed like Luigi's Pizza. And some have had to change what they're serving. So the chicken shop now did all of the voucher orders just for today, for an example. The Nickelodeon Splash Area is now Raging Waters JR. So all theming to Nickelodeon have been removed. And almost everything has been repainted. Tower 4 has been closed for no apparent reason. It's all filled with dust. And I don't think they'll reopen it until at least the first weekend of term. The Skycoaster has been shut because of COVID Restrictions. And Dinosaur Lagoon has been shut for maintenance. You can see when you are going up to Riptide all of the lagoon empty. In that corner of the park, it's like a ghost town! And worst of all was the Customer Service! My dad, who was trying to get a cabana. Because he's had Open Heart Surgery recently. So he really needs some shelter where he can rest. So we were gonna get a platinum pass. Then they asked us about 3 times with our phone number, credit card, and drivers licence. So he had to pay more then the advertised price! They said it was a IT error. And got us a cabana for 50% off. And told us to come back at the end of the day when it'll be fixed. We had a mostly nice time. And then when we came back. They did the same thing again. And then everyone behind Dad was laughing at him! He felt like he was going to explode! And he started to feel ill. Because of his heart problems, he's not to have this much stress arguing. So we had to dash over to him with me already exhausted from accidentally swallowing water in the wave pool. And he was very tired and angry. So we had to go home and having to calm him down. I'll have to come back. But he's not coming with me! There hasn't been any response from Raging Waters yet. It's quite clear that these new employees for this season don't have enough training and caused a ruined day for my Dad! And it's also quite clear that Raging Waters is losing money with only getting on average $100,000. And with expenses even more then that. They're had to shut down a quarter of the park, and are still losing money! I really doubt the future of Raging Waters now. The 2019-2020 season seem to be the peak. And it's all going downhill fast. Really, you would only expect a reopening day like today in the Gold Coast. I think Luna Park Sydney is the leading example of how to open and operate a park during this Pandemic in Australia. Come for the slides, food, and wave pool. Then get out! And drive as far away as you can without turning back! I've also put some photo's of today below for you all to see. I do apologize if it looks rushed. I was being rushed when I was already exhausted from the wave pool and was becoming shaky.

You would need around $300,000,000 dollars at average to build something like Wonderland. But they're just gonna make it over $1,000,000,000. They did that for the South West Rail Link!

When I asked Billy about a month ago about Moon Ranger and Tumble Bug, he said “we can only hope”. Seems like that hope is lost. I’ve seen that fence on Tumble Bug before. But Moon Ranger is now a goner. With the loading platform, and especially if the motor is gone. The Moon Ranger is going to scrap. And I think Tumble Bug is next. It’s very disappointing for me. As I never got an opportunity to ride either ride. As I was so worried about getting sick and covering the park 9ft deep in vomit. Does anybody know is there’s any rides in Australia or in the world that are the same model as either ride? What could be coming next?

Yeah, you're quite right.

The NT Government spent $500,000 taxpayers money on a feasibility study on 7 proposals for a water park in 2017. The NT Government deemed them 'unsuitable'. The NT Chief Minister said "The people who put forward those ideas for that water park want Government essentially to underwrite it or cover costs," "I don't think that's a fair or reasonable use of taxpayers' money, especially when we have got a business case that shows it is viable, so we've ended that process.". Clearly the NT Government thought it was unreasonable to build a water park in Darwin, using taxpayers money. That's why.

What about World's Of Wonder here in Sydney? It was a proposed park by David Bakas. David has since become General Manager of the Wonderland Sydney project in 2019. So I think World's of Wonder has been scraped. There has been no new information since 2019 on Wonderland Sydney. I would still consider it going to happen, rather than proposed. They still say it will open by 2021. It's pretty much impossible to build it by 2021, even if they started right this second. There was also going to be Darling Walk in 1988. It was going to be "a tomorrow's world of entertainment and technology". It was going to be just a small indoor theme park. It was canceled, and instead. Sega World opened around 1997? But the area down south of the IMAX Cinema did become Darling Walk. It's now some offices and shops called Darling Quarter. Merlin International was unable to build it by the 1988 bicentennial, so it was canceled. It was also know as Discovery Village. A sports faciality was built between 1988 and Sega World.
