Some snaps of GD today!

Nevertheless they really shouldn't have left it looking like that anyway. Didn't they cover it up?

The ABC area getting refurbed makes sense, but part of me thinks it may be too small for a "Legoland". Dreamworks getting the Lego retheme (with maybe a couple new rides/replacements) would probably be a better fit. Plus Lego doesn't really fit the demographic. If they want a land for the younger kids Bluey would be much better for it.

That guy makes good videos! Ahem On that particular day the ride was down for most of it, only reopening for the last few hours. Couldn't tell what was wrong. They were testing frequently throughout the day.

Not sure what they are but they did something similar with Madagascar last year during maintenance.

That was a fun read. Glad you had a good time overall! Couple thoughts on MW: yeah, it's a shame to see the current state of the park. JL has been in awful shape for a while now. The guns have literally never worked for me the few times I tried it. I'll have to check out that Mushroom 😬 Scooby Doo, where are you?! I want my favourite ride back. Removing those awful unsynced screens in the lift would be a good start...

Not looking likely they'll reach the Easter opening. If Leviathan starts testing / Trident goes up in the next couple weeks we might be in for a chance.

Long time for Giant Drop. Maybe we'll finally see the last bit of ToT's track removed.

Was the Nocturnal House open?

Nice find! Quite close to Gumbuya World 👀

Speaking of maintenance... Went on Scooby the other day. The screens in the elevator were mixed up; big Scrappy appeared on one of the side screens instead of the front screen. It was also out of sync (as usual). Next Generation was a mistake. Sorry to hear that. That's unacceptable. Never thought I'd be start worrying about safety standards at Movie World of all places. Dreamworld's operations have been indeed been fantastic the last couple weeks. Let's hope this is the new norm and they won't slip back to old standards!

WWF is testing the new boats with dummies now!

I think they should focus on ABC next. This was their plan anyway before Covid stopped it right? A well made Bluey land could do wonders for the park.

Rode it twice, once on the front and back. Was pretty much what I expected: a fun, smooth experience with a couple of intense elements but overall "tamer" than both DCR and SE. Wasn't expecting much from the launches, but 2 & 3 were a lot more fun than expected. Spiral was much better on the back and gave a little bit of airtime. I was expecting the final heartline roll to be intense from hearing about Blue Fire, but it still surprised me: it was crazy! Looking forward to many more rides on it, and hopefully trying Tailwhip next time! For me, maybe 3.5ish for the second and third launches, with the first definitely being a 1 lol. Either the backwards launch or the Heartline Roll at the end!

Must be the Dreamworld Ninjas up to mischief again

That was from the water mill on the side of the shop. It definitely look much wetter than usual! Would be a great feature if they keep it running like that. I'm guessing the older boats are "placeholders" until the other new boats arrive/are ready.

WWF was testing on Friday - with both old and new boats. In the below pic you can them both: the old one in front with the new one in the back. Couldn't stay long, so excuse the bad photo!

Didn't expect the sign to light up. Very nice!
