Snowy is an awesome ride and yes, much wetter than Thunder. The geysers are pretty damn accurate. Some of the best times I had at Wally World were on that ride. The dry setting, when I went on was used quite frequently I'll give you the tip.

Welded Slick? WTF? I think they probably could be made to look alright if they stayed there. Get another fountain kind of thing happening around it. If they do leave them there, they're definitely not going to look 'tacky'. Dreamworld are better than that. Piss them off I say anyway, but if they're there, so be it, they'll look fine.

Copy that Willsy.
-
Willsy, you've got to be kidding pal. Pull your head out of your arse.
-
Yeah I spotted that in today's paper too.

Hey Trav, welcome mate. Keep up the good spelling. Funny that you mention Wipeout and Power Surge in the same sentence....
-
Happy Birthday old son. Don't sink too many schooies. Then again, knock your socks off.

Possibly once or twice , but most of the time has been in a post aswell as something related.

I tried to change my resolution to check the others out, but can't get my shape right so stuff it, back to the old 800x600 for Danno. Anyone got any tips for getting into shape? Yes, yes I'm personally in shape, round is a shape so sod off with the smart crap. Many thanks in advance.

8,000 for the whole day, including night trading sounds a little more realistic... I'd believe that. It would be virtually impossible for you guys to estimate Wonderland's crowd. It can be pretty deceiving sometimes. Over-estimating indeed. I wasn't knocking Shift Key, I just said he's wrong. Simple as that.

I'm glad to see you've picked up where I left off Rich re: the grammar. I knew you couldn't let it slide unnoticed.

I was on WWF in February. At that time, there was of course a lot of the normal stuff missing due to them wanting to get it reopened. If you looked up you could see the extensive smoke and fire damage to the roof and on one of the light globes believe it or not. I'd say by now, it would have been pulled down for extensive repair and returned to its almost original state I guess. Or more accurately how they want it to be for some time to come.

Thanks for your opinion. Right or wrong you're entitled to it, but did you need to create a new thread for it? Yes it was run down, but do you know any reasons behind it? I presume you don't. Piss off idiot. Get yourself to a taxidermist. Your spelling is sh*t. Your typing has a lot of similarities to one certain member of ours. You may infact be related. Shifty, is this your long lost brother? Still, welcome to the forum old son, good to have you onboard... I think...

I'm sorry lads. I find 15,000 people extremely hard to believe on a normal operating day. Bus nailed it, whoever Shifty spoke to is pulling his whatsit. You wouldn't know 15,000 people at Wonderland if they all bit you on the arse. I'm really sorry, for being a little out of my 'peace phase', but that's rubbish. 11,000 or 15,000 people at Wonderland doesn't mean Demon lines to Demon Manor as Shifty suggested, it means Demon lines to the Demon gates at the bottom of the hill. Probe, 3 tunnels and down the path a long way. Bounty's, out the queue house. Extremely far fetched story. If you'd ever been on a Union Day, you'd see exactly what Bus and myself are saying. Who told you they average 2700 daily anyway? We better not go there into that topic again unless you want another sh*tfight. I'm always up for a good one, but for the sake of peace and love, we shall not re-enter that debate. If you read newspapers you'll find their highest yearly attendance for a few years now has been around 850,000. Significantly down as you all would know. Wonderland had an enormous amount of potential but Sunway were simply interested in running it into the ground and flogging it off, which has already been established many moons ago. As far as I'm concerned they'd have been better off to run it as a successful theme park for 50 more years or whatever. The Government love it though, look at the taxes they'll be raking in. More than what Wonderland was paying I can assure you.] Once again, please do not forget that the $50 million for for the theme park only. Don't leave out the other 160 hectares or thereabouts... Wonderland will clean up financially over the coming weeks.

I think you'll find that Bush Beast and Snowy have closed at 8:00 p.m. now for quite a few months due only to the light issue, or lack thereof. It is impossible to see a lot of the track of Bush Beast in the dark, as is the case at Snowy. Unfortunately the cameras are not nightvision and due to the inadequate lighting, too much of a safety concern. We had quite a few incidents of people jumping off at dock, often very hard to pick up when it's dark. Also, when I was there, Autos was exactly the same, 8:00 close. Bush Beast and Snowy still run during this time however.

Give this a whirl Will for Cyclone pics. As for the 'Gaint Drop', I'm not sure...

You're spot on the money old son. Hence them not scheduling the normally logical choice of Sunday being their last day. That will no doubt be a big day. (Both days I'm tipping.) Quite possibly mega crowds to be honest. I'll leave you with this thought, those who bring sunshine into the lives of others, cannot keep it from themselves.
-
Just owt of interest, when is the last day? hehe. I'm sorrie, I couldn't rezist. I think u mite have a bit of competision 4 the last ride Mr Chip Wrapper and Flea Rinse. Good luck 2 u howeva. Don't 4get it won't b the last ride thow, u can bet ur bottom dollar, maintinance will b there until the ride comes down and im shore starf will hav a crak b4 they leev afta the park clozes. Also, Richard, I'll put the old 'red pen' in the drawer for a while if it's what you really want. Bring on the anarchy! No corrections from me until we get to a point when you have realised how important they are. Until then, God bless you all. Peace has to be created, in order to be maintained. It is the product of Faith, Strength, Energy, Will, Sympathy, Justice, Imagination, and the triumph of principle. It will never be achieved by passivity and quietism. When we feel love and kindness toward others, it not only makes others feel loved and cared for, but it helps us also to develop inner happiness and peace. I do not want the peace that passeth understanding. I want the understanding which bringeth peace. Good night my friends.

Did I ever say I was perfect Dick? It's not a matter of typing skills Richard. It's a matter of laziness and stupidity. I have never asked for 100% accuracy. You know that. Bad day hey? It should read 'BE written as it would appear'. Poor slipup there old son. Clown or Klown in this case would both be acceptable. It's not exactly a word that's in the dictionary is it? As for your resources well, how can you be happy for Shifty to repeat himself over and over? I think the only person's time I'm wasting would be my own, not anyone elses, if there is in fact time wasting going on. Get down off your high horse.
-
Huss, during your period of being AWOL, have you been working on your spelling old son? Super stuff.
-
So much for we can't predict anything Shifty.... You contradict yourself every time you speak. Stop killing those brain cells. As GoBoi, said they don't need to advertise their last days, they got a sh*tload of it by announcing their cessation. Of course people are going to go back for one last look. I know I won't be able to help myself. I wouldn't call staff number issues an assumption old son. I sincerely hope they see out their final days, but it will be absolutely impossible if too many more staff leave. Who do you propose to operate and supervise rides just for starters? Don't forget it's not just the Operations Division where staff are leaving. A bit of a hum dilly of a pickle they find themselves in. We just seem to be going around in circles after every time you post.
-
haha Rappa, only because Shifty is beginning to affect others, I will let you off. How about EXAGGERATING?
-
Shift, Please tell me how you expect them to be able to stay open if they don't have the staff required to cover all the shifts. They're going to lose some very experienced ride operators to Luna Park over the next couple of weeks. What do you propose they do then? Covering the small rides isn't going to be the problem, it's covering the big arse buggers including Demon, Probe, Snowy, Bush Beast and Bounty's. I, as much as anyone would like Wonderland to see out their final days successfully, but it is going to be difficult without the staff. That's common sense old pal. How can you say it's been confirmed everywhere? That's rubbish. DJ Rappa recently said that he received an e-mail from Mr Travis, who again would not rule out an early closure. Show us something concrete Shifty. The workers have no idea if they're going to be open on said date. Management have refused to put a set date on it. They are hoping to be open until the 26th, but they realise it may not be possible. Putting a date on closure is impossible. What if tomorrow, they had 10 people from Attractions resign? What will they do then? How can they open? Please explain Shifty.
-
That would be super Shift Dawg. 'i think wonderland shouls advertise for one last time advertising and informing', could quite possibly be your best piece of work thus far. Whether their is a big finale? C'mon Shifty, I thought even you were better than that.
-
Exadurating Rappa? What the hell is that? That's up there with Shifty's slop old mate.
