We hear that about this time every year The Wildlife Park is the only thing keeping it on its legs. I'm just stating that it can be more profitable to operate at a loss. I'm not saying they are, but they could be... If they are breaking even, WILDLIFE PARK!! All in the paint mate. It's special paint. Just like the paint for the pool. Shame they left it uncovered and all the dirt and grit and crap blew in it and scratched the living buggery out of everyone and their clothes for a couple of weeks though :twisted: Silly buggers

That's all the joint is mate, I've said it all along, one big tax write-off. Often, it can be more 'valuable' to operate something at a loss. I think this may be one of those cases...

That's basically what I was getting at Jozmeister. It leaves Wonderland for dead and I think that's usually pretty tidy... It was looking mighty fine when I was there in February anyway...

Fair enough Richie Rich, I love it though. Was there in Feb and would have gone back the next day if time permitted. Tiger Island blew me away. Awesome! I just love the tidiness of the joint. It's a beautiful park. Haven't seen Sea World in a few years though so maybe I made an uneducated observation. I love the joint though.

Absolutely. I went to Dreamworld this year for the first time in a couple of years and I could not get over the neatness of everything. I was blown away. Wonderland is a damn tidy place but Dreamworld made it look like the Eastern Creek Waste Management Centre. Hats off to Dreamworld.... the best park in the country- By a long shot!

Wonderland.... hehe... :twisted: Talk was that HB or LWL was going to be used for an extension to the Wildlife Park. It's ideal really... Still have Skyrider in there ready to go aswell... The wildlife park is an ideal place to have a station for Skyrider. If HB will be used for anything, it'll be for this... "Completely bulldozed"??? It hasn't been touched. Just piles of crap building up around there. My vote goes to Thunderbolt's replacement.

Wonderland management should be more concerned about it actually making it up the lift at the moment. It's struggling to do that at the moment let alone climbing 5 places in an internet poll.... :twisted:

My spiel would be, "Welcome to the Bush Beast, the largest wooden rollercoaster in the southern hemisphere, ranked 145th in the internet wood poll. It just makes the spiel mate As a matter of fact, I'm going to forward it on to all Bush Beast trained ops to use right now...

How long back are you talking about slowing it down Flea? All the times I've been on it, it's been a stop. As an operator, even as a guest standing on the station, you can feel the whole track move when it stops in those backcurve brakes. It's a pretty big shunt really. I'm pretty sure it's been a stop as long as I've known it. Have known to be wrong before though, funnier things have happened... I'm not saying you're lying either.
