Was in the park today . It’s so funny how many people I heard lineing up for jet rescue say “oh wait you mean this ride isn’t part of the tall one over there?” “Oh I thought they were the same ride”. “Why would they make two different coasters and not one big one”. “I think this is the entrance to that boat one”. Like there was so many people confused thinking storm and JR are the same ride. Storm went down around 11:00. the walk way from underneath the old bridge to the storm photo center feels very run down. Under The bridge is in bad condition. The there’s all these temporary fences on the left where the VR station used to be. It just feels like that area needs work. Starting with maybe removing what’s left of that bridge. Trident had 1hour+ wait and today was not busy. vortex has more people watching then riding but it was operating. the monorail track above jet rescue looks to have been given a fresh coat of paint.?

Whose tony? I doubt they would change support Color’s because of a key ring. It was probably always their plan.

It’s a bit misleading to have “Leviathan Ride It Now” in bold letters as the first thing you see when you open up seaworlds website, only for the ride too be under Planned maintenance. I get it for unplanned maintenance. But when you know your main attraction is supposed too not be open, don’t make it seem like it is open on your website.

Why did they fire the tiger man. That was a stupid decision. Unless there was more behind the scenes. Such as bad attitude or something but I doubt it. He seems like a great guy.

If there was a 4 horse men of Aussie rides being crap, Dooms day could fill all 5 horse men roles.

I don’t think dreamworld would be stupid enough to close tiger island. That is one of their biggest draws and one of the few things that really stands out from the other parks. They would need to add an RMC hyper to even start to justify that decision. .

It would be a fun walk through for one of the events

True . They could paint Some swirls and wavy lines on the wall around the sides. You don’t want to draw all attention to the wall with bright distracting Color’s but some subtle swirls could help break up the mass of white wall. The closet thing I can find to what I am thinking is this. But for DW less detail maybe, and softer lines and Color’s. (Sorry for the picture quality. Looks like on google earth there was an odd facade wall that came out of the blue wall. Not sure what it was. Just decoration perhaps? They must have took out the hut and this weird wall as well.

Sad to see it with just the drop pretty much left intact! I mean I guess they were never gonna revamp it . Lots of memories on that ride! It was my first real “ride” I went on. but it is time for it to go 🫡🥲 I would love it so much if they built a new log flume in the same spot paying homage to the original but still bringing some new features maybe. The main thing would be having it drop from the castle like the original. It probably won’t happen but a man can hope!

What a roller coaster of a wall…! This works . It looks tidy and does the job. I do love the idea of the graffiti but this is a good alternative. Good job dreamworld. You got there in the end. or at least I hope this is the end and they stop playing with the wall and leave it now. Pretty funny how many changes they did to it.

I mean I don’t really watch any of the parades but a lot of people do and it really makes Main Street feel Alive. I think it would add some nice atmosphere to dreamworld and liven up the Main Street area. Especially while there is no wave swinger. The people could do a nice loop like this

they did a similar thing in covid when the parks were forced to shut. Our parks don’t seem to think slow wait times and a few ride closures are enough of a reason to offer “revisit another day” pass. Thought it would be good if they did. the way you had your comment was confusing. I thought you meant you wanted our parks to have a ride offer similar to Alton Towers. till I hit the link… also you probably could’ve almost opened a new thread for it.

I think because most artists who work on signage now would be doing it on computer where the screen is very close to your eyes so it would be easy to read and see the detail. So doing red on red with a white outline wouldn’t seem like a problem to read. But when you get it printed and you have to look at it from a distance it becomes a massive problem. I could be completely wrong, that’s just my guess. I am sure Dean has better knowledge about the subject from one of his various jobs /s

There must be some logical explanation or reason for them to decide to put the globe where they did.. what could that reason possibly be!! They just need the dreamworld flyer signage to be the size of the bodge signs. And the bodge signage the size of the current dreamworld flyer signs.
