  1. Based on a recent youtube video published on the 12th November 2020 the Ardent Leisure Dreaworks Theme Park Shrek, Kung Fu Panda & Madagascar - oh my! Join us for a walkthrough of the "Dreamworks Experience is to be no more, I quote the following from Theme Park Ogre "With the rumours that this area might be closing soon, I thought it was time to do a walk through video! I hope you enjoy" [Ref: Theme Park Ogre] Reported on the 9th of November, Ardent Leisure, owner of Dreamworld theme Park has announced and due to report my month ending (Nov 2022) that a potential $50, million spend is to be allocated to their businesses. In addition and as part of questions posed by investor to Ardent Leisure, the option for accommodation on Ardent Leisure's significant and 100% owned land is still being considered. Having watched the Theme Park Ogre YouTube video (as per encloded link), and what appears to be a lack of busting and swelled Theme Park guess crowds in the filmed area(s), may well provide some credibility that the suggested rumour posed by Theme Park Ogre may indeed have some merit. It is acknowledged that Dreamworks made its First quarterly profit as announced on the ASX since the tragic accident at Dreamworld, Ardent Leisure has resently reported a handsome $150 mill plus resting in slumber in their healthy bank accounts. With a previously announced $75 million 4 star and 5 star caravan park planned (tentatively put on hold) coupled with $50 million allocated to business park improvements. Having a recent theme Park competitor having announced their intent for a possible high rise hotel in close nearology to the park, Ardent Leisure may have missed the boat (opportunity) in regards to their planned 4 star hotel on their 100% owned land. However, a 5 start caravan park in the heart land of Australia's theme Park mecca, applying the $50 million and connecting the business to the $75 million bolt on business may make good business sense on a nimber of fronts. Could the rumour play benefit to a complete re-theme and finally connecting dormant Ardent Leisure land with new business opportunities. Regardless, the writing is on the wall, Dreamworld maybe a completely different experience for guests and as lacking in the Theme Park Ogre video, increase much needed foot traffic at Dreamworld.
  2. Announcement (stocknessmonster.com) Type ALG (Ardent Leisure) and go to announcements
  3. What you fail to state is that the ALG Remuneration received a near 10% vote for a second Stike against board of Directors, having made the spilling of the board an inch away from happening. In short, the board were lucky not to be near ousted.
  4. Fully agree, Dreamworld attendance is poor, although it is acknowledged that they are making efforts is changing foot traffic through a number of seasonal themes such as the recent winter festival and so forth. Dreamworld since the change in hand of management through spilling of the previous board have struggled and without expediting their long-term plan will continue to fall behind other Gold Coast theme parks. Foot traffic between Movie World and Dreamworld over most recent school holidays should provide a real concern about Dreamwold's ability to be competitive. Movie World was buzzing with crowds, but Dreamworld lacked the same level of foot traffic. Maybe a change in Dreamworld board of directors is needed for rejuvenation of foot traffic and appreciation of revenue and thus, additional rides and attractions. Currently, Movie World is heads and tails ahead of Dreamworld in most aspects in my opinion.
  5. Fully agree, Ardent certainly seam poised and planed to sell Dreamworld prior to the tragic death incident. The organisation recently offloaded its main event entertainment centres in America it only seems natural that they now move to offload their theme parks. The question still remains who that entity would be. I assume for shareholders there would be like coiled springs waiting for any such announcements based on recent Ardent Leisure Gold Coast performances.
  6. An interesting possibility and yes, on face may have merit.
  7. On October the 10th, 2020 Fox Studios Australia has officially been renamed to Disney Studios Australia. Fox Studios becomes Disney Studios, welcomes next 'Planet of the Apes' film - IF Magazine Disney Cruise Line recently announce that it's bringing even more to Australia by adding two cruises World's Seventh Disney Theme Park Gains Traction, Could Appear In South of Country - Inside the Magic As early as two weeks ago, multiple news related stories detailed that Disney had been looking at establishing itself in Australia, a push was made for Disney to be established in South Australia and at one time, the Gold Coast, Australia. World's Seventh Disney Theme Park Gains Traction, Could Appear In South of Country - Inside the Magic With the above mentioned and what appears to be an increase of footprint by Disney into Australia, could Disney be scanning possible locations for a Singapore sized Univesal studio version of Disney Theme Park. Gold Coast, Queensland seems to be the logical geographical location although SA as has been referenced as a potential. With Olympics quickly approaching in Queensland, with the Gold Coast being the mecca for Australian theme park and with new infrastructure being constructed and planned for the Olympics, the Gold Coast with its weather and tourism magnate, seems to be a more pragmatic choice. Warner Bros. Movie World during recent school holidays had good visitation, it is debatable as to whether Dreamworld was able to attract the same number of foot traffic. Ardent Leisure has significant excess land holding and may/could be looking to divest as per a recent ASX announcement. On face value, it may be possible that Dreamworld and its surrounding land may be viewed by Disney executives and being a potential acquisition. However, this is pure speculation, but would seem to make sense should Disney Theme Park be a real possibility.
  8. and the Dreamworld share price continues to crumble under current management.
  9. highly unlikely that Disney would apply business in South Australia, not the most travelled national and international destination preference. Likely scenario, Queensland where the international airport will generate further influx of travellers to the region. Furthermore, one of the Disney port destinations is Brisbane. Brisbane shall further benefit from improved infrastructure due to Olympics, increased hotel and caravan park facilities and surplus land (Dreamworld) would prove significantly beneficial for Disney. Let's not also overlook the importance of Disney undertaking film production and their investment in main production films in Queensland all making Disney and Queensland a near perfect match.
  10. Could Ardent Leisure, owner of Dreamworld theme park located on the Gold Coast be a significant beneficiary with Disney cruise ship heading to Australia and making Brisbane one of its destination ports. The miserable struggling Ardent Leisure share price may indicate market has little confidence but could ex-Disney employees and now Ardent Leisure board of directors assist this struggling organisation through their connections and potential partnership with struggling Ardent. 1. Director Randy Garfield - 20 year Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Travel Operations at Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, he led the worldwide sales, convention services, resort contact centres and distribution marketing efforts for the Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Shanghai Disney Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club, Adventures by Disney, Aulani-a Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii and Golden Oak. I note Randy has exposure and experience with Disney Cruise Line 2. Director Erin Wallace - 30 year career at the Walt Disney Company spanned many roles in Theme Parks and Resorts concluding with Executive Vice President of Operations Strategy, Planning, Revenue Management and Decision Sciences, encompassing all of Disney Parks’ domestic and international sites. After joining Disney as an industrial engineer in 1985, Erin’s roles included Senior vice President of Walt Disney World Operations where she oversaw the largest and most popular resort destination in the world, Vice President of Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom and General Manager for Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s All-Star Resort Regardless, since having joined Ardent as board of directors, the Ardent Leisure (ALG:ASX) miserable share price under Mr. Wisse continues to disappoint, maybe the far in the distant two American based directors Erin and Randy can finally unveil what they have been going if anything to secure Disney to struggling Ardent and their theme park(s). If they can't, surely people located in Australia can step into their positions as opposed having two folks located some significant distance away from Aust. In the meantime yeawnnnn, the share price, dark pool trading, bots seam to continue to supress this struggling ALG:ASX share price.
  11. Fully agree, this is not confidence building for any investor. By the way, why is the so called ex-Disney theme park guru Ardent Leisure non executive Director doing in the US? why has this individual not be hear of, what has she contributed what is her forward looking plan for this struggling theme park. Is it time for new management.
  12. Furthermore former Walt Disney senior executive Erin Wallace was recently appointed to the board as a non-executive director. I note that she was not received with any class of securities on her appointment. On that note and in consideration to know securities having been appointed to her it may be that she may receive a rather fat payout should she provide a lead for management in Australia leading to the selling of the business. Also disappointingly is that Erin Wallace is currently located some 5000 km away in the US but I further question the current contribution to her area of expertise being the theme park considering the floundering and measurable companies share price performance. Come on board of management what are you doing to Control you’re stuck in the mud., dark pool and Bot manipulated share price.
  13. @ New Display Name - The organisations share price is shambolic and significantly controlled by bot manipulation. I have reservations that the organisations management have any long lasting plans in retaining this business and in my honest opinion is a prime take over and/or slice and dice the business entitie(s) to a third party buyer. But you are certainly correct that the share price of this organisation is a mess and significantly being held back. It is a wonder why management don’t come out and be more proactive in promoting the company. Since the fatalities and what seems to have been a panic decision by management in selling its main event entertainment centres due to the virus, I personally have lost confidence in management although I do confess I hold shares in the organisation. To management stop wasting time and announce what the director in US is still doing to improve her efforts as the supposed themepark Guru and thus, improve this stumbling and miserable Ardent leisure share price.
  14. Connect dreamworld theme park by connecting adjoining and significant land owned by dreamland owner as a total guest experience. Build as they were planning last year a four (4) start hotel, a five (5) star caravan park and amenities and then sell the Ardent Leisure holistic Queensland business to the highest bidder. With infrastructure planning commenced by QLD gov in preparation for the 2032 olympics and potential background plans by Ardent Leisure to sell the theme park(s), it may be probable that dreamworld is sold sometime during 2024. As recently reported by the Western Australian a significant entity has already inspected the finances of Ardent Leisure in the dark room. The question is maintained, who will be the buyer should the above assumption(s) be the case. The mind boggles
  15. Dr. Gary Weiss From Laymans understanding may have been brought into Ardent Leisure with one aim in mind, that goal was to sell. The tragic fatalities at Dreamworld in my honest opinion and humbled opinion placed a screaming halt on any selling prospect swiftly followed by the Chinese virus which further placed a wedge in regards to offloading the Dreamworld and WhiteWater theme park(s) As part of the selling arrangement with Dave and Busters $5150,00 million has according to recent ASX announcement be set aside to be pumped back in to the dreamworld theme park. contrary to beliefs $150 million does not stretch far when considering the amount of work and continuous investment in theme parks. Ardent leisure have done well with current maintenance and have been innovative in attracting crowds to the park during winter period but it would seem that any maintenance works and completion works may be the first steps in offloading the business. but the biggest question remaining should the above be correct in assumption is who the buyer would be. Considering Disney would be out of the question that only leaves a head full of other options, the mind boggles as to who this may be. but seems clear to me that management don’t want to be left with a business that barely scrapes a profit together unless significant spending by way of expansion is undertaken.
