Movie World has got into the trend of cutting corners losing the themed uniform is poor also considering how rude staff can be it all seems downhill from here. hopefully ride operations are a bit faster now though.

I mean technically they probably could however it would require more work I'm pretty sure if they did run a conduit down the tower, it would be inside it.

I wonder if the Lights are solar powered as I don't think they could do it any other way.

it's been like 3 or 4 Years since the Sky Coaster at Wet and Wild has been open yet on the website it says its temporarily closed. does anyone know if its ever going to reopen cause from what I have seen no visible maintenance has happened on it.

I haven got a ride on vortex since it opened but i thought wipeout would win thanks for the response.

The giant drop wins for me i have to agree Aswell that it is the most terrifying ride in Australia makes rivals look tame.

I definitely think Steel Tipan is better the triple launch is great I love the backwards launch. the trains are also much more comfortable where the restraints on SE are not comfy. and the airtime on Tipan is insane. i also have to agree with @OgreI don't queuing for superman also because the staff can be quite rude at the que line there Aswell not all but a few

But Dreamworld has brought in brand new management. What happened will always be there but it's a new park with a new and bright future I'm not saying forget its history but to move on and accept the new Dreamworld.

That's defiantly true. When I have friends who are to scared to ride something with me I always make a joke that there is nothing to fear except fear itself.

I don't know if there is a topic for this already, Every time there is a minor incident in the Gold Coast Theme parks the media always ramp up the story and make it seem really bad. For example if a ride has a routine stoppage and people need to be assisted off the media jump straight on making it seem like these rides are unsafe. I wonder if this keeps people away from the park. media from earlier today states a spoke person for Village Road Show theme parks said there were 2 faults detected on Green lantern and Doomsday Destroyer. These faults are most likely really small yet they make it seem like a really big thing. What are your guys thoughts on this.

i think dreamworld need a water ride but not a log fume because wild west falls has already at mw has already taken that spot unless dreamworld spend a lot in theming a good ride for them would be this. this was an idea from @Ogrefrom a while back and it think it would be perfect. good for family and thrill seekers without competing with wild west falls. its unique

Is just me or during school holidays and really busy weekends Movie World let way too many people in. I went in the second week of school holidays on a Monday it was so busy it wasn't fun. 3 plus hour ques for everything and virtual que was full by 10am. I was speaking to some people, and they spent $500 to get in with their family. They were upset because the ride lines were way to long. even on main street it felt suffocating with all the people. i wonder what the limit is because it's crazy how many people are allowed in. I personally think there should be a smaller limit. Please let me know if you agree.

I don't think because a lot of the other effects don't seem to work so i don't think they would go to the effort of fixing them and keep them going because now a days it feels like they cant be bothered to fix them e.g. Scooby doo and the justice league were both in a terrible state when i last went on them

@Spottyseeing you use to work at the first turn table did you ever figure out what the 2 bandits on the screen before the backwards drop say I've been on it so many times but never knew exactly what they said.

@Ashleyyeah Its not working very well it need some fixing and the miner at the end doesn't work at all either

@OgreI know it says hah your going for a fall i always thought they said bandits instead of badges but lol yeah it is really hard to hear so we could both be wrong thanks for the response.

@Ogre Do you know what the 2 bandits say before the backwards drop and is it from a movie or park made ? I have always wondered ?
