  1. I'd love this to happen (it certainly needs to), but in a park that's currently cutting costs like crazy and can't be bothered maintaining basic things like facades, signage, theming elements, effects on rides and even background music, I really don't see it happening anytime soon unfortunately. The whole park needs lots of effort and money thrown at it really.
  2. Though this is pretty much what I was expecting in terms of presentation for this ride (especially considering what Village is like these days), I'm still a little disappointed we've ended up with more tacky and lazy comic book "theming" with printed signs. Would've been nice if they'd just put a little bit of effort into it. I understand the park has time and budget constraints, but I'm sure they could have come up with an alternative solution with a little creativity (it's what the park would have done in the old days).
  3. The issue to me is that many of these recent ride renovations and "upgrades" have either been done in a really half arsed manner or have ended up detracting from or breaking some other part of the ride experience. For example, the Wild West Falls upgrade saw effects being renovated/reactivated, control systems upgraded and new boats added. But capacity is now significantly lower, many of the audio effects are out of sync and/or play on top of each other, the queue line videos have been completely removed and the area music loop surrounding the ride no longer plays (plus many of the practical effects they only just refurbished are already broken again). It's a similar story for most of the other recently upgraded attractions. Plus other general park issues that have already been mentioned on here many times before (the lack of background music in many areas, overgrown gardens, poor operations, dirty and tired areas) continue to be a problem and are holding back the park from being truly "world class" IMHO.
  4. Hey, been a long time reader of the forums but wanted to drop in and say I've also noticed the lack of music at Movie World and it's bugged me for a long time (especially outside Superman escape). I'm hoping they'll do something about it during the ride's downtime as that would be a perfect opportunity to sort it out.
