No worries.

They don't run both trains at the same time. When 1 train arrives to unload they send the 2nd train thru.

Movieworld is a joke.
When i started this thread i never thought it would turn out like this. I posted a complaint and get shot down. I don't travel to the theme parks during peak periods but this time i had no choice due to work. I had no idea QLD and NSW were on hols. Every time i visit the parks the most i've waited is 20 mins. I'm not used to seeing long queue's. I always visit 1 park late in the afternoon as i spend a few hours at 1 park then get a bus and visit the other park. I've never had a problem with this. Quite often i'd visit DW from 10am till 2 pm then duck over to MW and get on SE within 10-15 mins. Sometimes 5 mins. LW usually has 1 train but the wait is no more than 10 mins. SDSC can range from walk on to 10 mins. If your lucky you can get 3 rides in a row. So as you can see seeing a huge line up was a shock to the system. We all learn by our mistakes and my lesson is never visit during the peak season.

Movieworld is a joke.
On Saturday i was talking to a lady at the front gate (Where you hand in your ticket) I asked her if SE was running 1 train or 2. She said "I think 2 trains" She also said that "SE runs every 2 mins with 2 trains and every 4 mins with 1 train. She said "yesterday (Friday) they were running 2 trains and i said i know it was awesome." Edit : I forgot to ad this photo. It was taken yesterday @ 3:00.

Article: Village Theme Parks introduce new ticket options
Yesterday my sister and i had lunch @ the Billabong Restaurant @ DW. Normal price is $19 but with my pass i got it for $16.15. I saved $2.85 it's not much but that's 1 refill.

Movieworld is a joke.
Of course there are reasons why they didn't run the 2nd train on SE but if there was than why didn't anyone in guest relations or who was working at SE say "we can not run the 2nd train today because....." instead of just saying they dont know? I'm also entitled to have an opinion on the park, not only as a visitor but as an annual pass holder. I know que lines are a part of the riding system but that does not mean we are not entiteld to complain about it, thats how serivces get improved. For arguments sake let's just drop the subject. I posted this post from my experience at the park as a visitor who wanted to ride a great coaster. I don't go on the the GD coz i hate heights. It's not the drop that worries me it's the sitting up there and seeing all the ants on the ground..

I think Richard said that DW and WWW will have a combined pass. Not sure how much though.

Movieworld is a joke.
I went to guest relations and asked. They told me it wasn't broken but they couldn't run the 2nd train. Read my siggie. My sister and i will be on the Gold Coast from 6-10 October 2006. I was due to leave yesterday. It had nothing to do with the que lines.

Movieworld is a joke.
First of all what's my user name got to do with this post? 2nd. The 2nd train wasn't broken. 3rd. It shouldn't matter what time i get there. My point is that if there was a long queue they should have ran 2 trains. 4th. I have a pass to DW & MW so i always go park hopping. 5th. Thanks Richard. 6th. I'm entitled to have a tanty if i want after all the park was busy and they should done something about it. 7th. I went to guest services and was told can't do anything about it. Today i went to MW got there at 2pm and it was an hr wait. I'm flying back to Melbourne in 4.5 hours time so it'll be good for you people. Then you wont have to put up with me EDIT : I didn't yell at the bloke with the measuring stick. I just asked him why SE was running on 1 train. He said he didn't know.

Movieworld to get a stand up coaster?
I was @ MW today and a ride op who was operating LW was standing in the SE line. Anyway he was talking to this guy about the space shot. Saying it'll be faster than SE and 20m higher. He also said the MW's limit is 60m. While he was talking he said to this guy. "If we play our cards right we'll get a standup coaster in about 3 years. My eyes and ears lit up like a Christmas tree. EDIT : By the way big sis. Wish you were here. Tony i didn't go to Wnw today as the weather was crap. Will be going 2morrow as it's going to be 25. Hope your working 2morrow.

Superman Escape Picture
I hope your right. There's nothing worse than standing in line for ages when they have 2 trains but only run 1.

QLD doesn't go back till Monday. According to your post you leave Friday. So they'll still be on holidays. I leave Melbourne @ 7:55pm 2morrow nite. I'll arrive in Brisbane @ 6:30am on Friday. EDIT : Can't wait.

They never run 2 trains in off peak. Every time i visit the GC during off peak it's 1 train. The average wait for 1 train is about 15 mins.
-

Why not ride it 3 times. Then you can have the front, middle or back. Or vice versa.
-

To get the front seat all you do is line up at the 1st barrier. You might have to wait a few rides but if your in line you'll get a go.

So another words if the West Gate bridge had a bridge climb that was taller than Sydney's but Sydneys's was better you'd choose Sydney? I go for the thrills not the appearance.

Australian Ranking
The ranking is on how many rides are there at the theme park and all theme parks are operating. They are also on the database. This excludes carnivals like Sydney Royal Easter Show. October 2006 1 - Dreamworld (43 rides) 2 - Sea World (29 rides) 3 - Adventure World (28 rides) 4 - Adventure Park (23 rides) 5 - Luna Park NSW (21 rides) 6 - Greenhills Adventure Park (20 rides) 7 - Thredbo (20 rides) 8 - Warner Brothers Movie World (19 rides) 9 - Aussie World (18 rides) 10 - Puzzle Park (18 rides) 11 - Jamberoo Action Park (17 rides) 12 - Luna Park Melbourne (16 rides) 13 - Australia Zoo (16 exhibits) 14 - Merimbula's Magic Mountain (15 rides) 15 - Wet 'n' Wild Water World (14 rides) 16 - Toboggan Hill Park (14 rides) 17 - King Carnival (14 rides) 18 - Big Banana (12 rides) 19 - Funfields (6 rides) 20 - Scenic World (5 rides) 21 - Flycoaster (5 rides) 22 - Corin Forest (4 rides) 23 - Big Pineapple (4 rides) 24 - Paradise Country (1 ride) 25 - Infinity (1 ride) 26 - Dracula's Cabaret Restaurant (1 ride) 27 - Lakeside Lesiure Park - (1 ride) If you would like to add more parks just post it on the forums and i'll add it. Ahh, you've missed out the quality factor. While the eight parks above Movie World have more rides, when you take the quality multiplier into consideration Movie World comes out as an all-round favourite and winner. Your mistake, no biggie. smile.gif There's 7 not 8

Scooby Doo Queue Line Movie
The only reason why i watch it coz it's better than staring at people. What do you do while standing in line if your not watching the clip?

Every time i go to WnW my feet get sore and they get burnt from the hot ground. I thought it would be obvious . I've posted and others a few times about the ground burning your feet. I was told to buy aqua shoes however they wern't sure if you could wear them on the slides.

-

Movie World Attendance
Good point there Richard. If i had a choice of Wnw or WWW then i would choose WWW unless Wnw had a new attraction that would blow your mind.
