I would prefer to have a scaled-down version of a Disney park, then crap like Dreamworld.

It looks like the only good ride they have is the "star flyer".

As far as i know, there aren't any full size hippos in Australia. What i do know is that Taronga Zoo has the Pygmy hippo which is smaller than a normal hippo. As for the comment about the water, i have photos from San Diego Zoo that show an example of underwater viewing.

It's about bloody time they got rid PA. I don't really care what they replace it with, just get on with removing it.

Thanks for the video Zane. The way they setup this intencity makes it look like a temp. attraction, there is no theme inside the place and the bumper cars could have been better (like the ones that used to be at SegaWorld).

It will be interesting to see if the two new rides have any ties to the Kids WB tv show, as so far i have not seen any Looney Tunes cartoons on the show.

Now why didn't Village take aggressive action like this when Wonderland or Sega World were going under?

I agree with the above! I would rather see more apartments than some tacky crap-tacular wheel (if not a park). The way i see it, they could spend the money on something else to benefit the local residents.

If this takeover goes through, i hope it leads to a new theme park for Sydney.

I like the look of the new site, but some of the info could be updated. They still list Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster on the new attractions page, but nothing of Intencity or Looney Tunes Constuction. Whereas other pages show location of "future attaction" and description of ride coming soon.

That short lived Pokemon store was just part of a park promotion for the movie, along with its lame walkthrough attraction Pokemon Island Adventure (i think it was in Sound Stage 1 of the studios). It was that same year when Cartoon Network Beach opened at Seaworld.

Besides Macquarie Leisure, what does this have to do with Dreamworld?

It would be better (for business) if they put this arcade between WnW & WBMW (like a citywalk area). That way people can still spend while waiting for Outback Spectacular.

The original Intencity was in Westfield Hurstville (now a Target store) before the one at Parramatta (also closed now).

I'm just going to guess and hope that these are temp. attractions while they refurbish the area around the former maverick show building.

It was meant to be a Paramount theme park, but some moron thought that cafes and shops would be better for the area.

I don't know if it was the same film, but a bollywood flik was also @ movieworld.
