...... you know what his means? ......BOWLING ALLEY AT DREAMWORLD! Replacing the gaming arcade with a bowling alley would be pretty cool actually.

Contraptions
Well here are some of my No Limits tracks. Some things to point out though: -you'll need 1.5 to view most of these -Coasters like Blade are enthusiast coasters, hence the g's going into the red zone momentarily -The two corkscrews on the Corkscrew Classic (which is actually a floorless coaster, long story...) are screwed until futher notice. Feedback is appreciated!

Dreamworld attendance up for September quarter
Thanks Pandora for putting words in my mouth that I really didn't say. You just Implied that, even though I know that it is current news. I'm sure I wouldn't know as much as you with all the backastage stuff like what happens at front of house, but i have been to quarantine, and I have at least four sources that go way up in the food chain. But hey, I don't know that much, I'm just part of the General public (*cough*). As for themeing, there really needs a lot of work. I think that Gazza has hit the nail on the head so to speak with ideas for the Tower Of Terror, particularly the strobes and smoke machine up through the broken pipes. I think one thing aswell is with the miny city that you walk over. Make it much, much larger like in E.T. at Universal Studios, Florida. Okay, actually, not that big, but a nice size, and something that covers both sides of the walkway, not just one and a mirror on the other side. So do we have any idea yet on what type of attraction it is definitely or rumoured to be? I know coaster (apparently), but is there any other possibilities?

From jaycar you can get dummy cameras for $20 that have motion sensors attached.... So when you move past the camera it follows you! Hey that would be a cool themeing idea if it was some kind of camera type ride, but its not, so flush goes that idea. They would actually be pretty cool in the Big Brother house though. Just a thought.

Robb & Elissa's MASSIVE Japan Update!
Call me when you do! And I want to ride the escelator ride at Parque Espana!

You know mate, you need to chill. In other words, back off. I honestly see that both of these are probable, but if I get told my engineers and ride-ops (experienced ride-ops), what am I supposed to say? Plus I don't spend every weekend there, but I do enjoy spending time there. Theme parks are for making people happy, and for that it is is why I enjoy giong there. Manufacturers are building rides to make people happy, and that's it. Isn't that our main goal in life, making people happy? Well if it isn't you probably work at Microsoft, but that's not what we're talking about is it?

Robb & Elissa's MASSIVE Japan Update!
I had a good look at it earlier on at westcoaster and it looks like you guys had a lot of fun (bar some of those Togo coasters, particularly the the nut-crushing stand-up coaster) and it seems that my prophesy was true, Dodonpa suck anus. Next trip ideas would be....... AUSTRALIA TRIP! (It would be a lot cheaper afterall).

The Great Debate: What is the best game of all time?
Gee great games there (cough).... As for favourites, here are some of the best in my opinion: FPS:DesertCombat and UT2004, both excellent games in their own right. real-time strategy: Generals Zero Hour, gotta love those tank rushes. And the title I am really looking forward to is S.T.A.L.K.E.R., which is a follow up to what happened at Chernobyl-4 in Russia. Looks excellent, brilliant even. Most enjoyable overall: This would definitely be Sims2, absolutely fantastic game. Only thing is that it needs more items, never the less, excellent, very good.

Your Ideas for new rides
The only tiny bits of space for GoldRush would be just that tiny bit of land beyond the skylink or the dam that's used for holding the water for the rides. Rocky Hollow would be a better idea in my opinion for expansion, but really, any part of the park running down the north side is good for expansion. I'm talking about Blue Lagoon, AWE, etc. and once when BB disappears (hurry up....) we'll have some nice room for a resort. I can dream can't I?

Your Ideas for new rides
For some reason people like rides with records so they can boast to their mates "...Well gee you can be such a sissy, I rode the world's tallest freefall ride 28 times in one day..." See, you know I do. But really for me, a ride is an experience. For me, rides are about making people happy, and taking their breath away (not in a bad unconcious way of course). What's the point of having the world's first gravity powered coaster in space when there is no way to make it work?

No way, kind of the opposite really. Samford is where all the acreage is. We also used to live there on a five-acre block. But its better here, especially because we can get adsl here. Did I mention the train station too so I can get to Dreamworld easier?

Your Ideas for new rides
Which is still pretty good seeming alot of Ride Trade free-fall towers are only heights of up to 30-40 metres. Now the height of our tower is ....... 119 metres? If you guys read other boards you would definitely know that overseas people buy tickets to come down and ride this thing, particularly those ACErs, those people are crazy.

What would you like to see happen to the Bush Beast?
No sorry, we're all having a nag at something today. Actually, have a quick look over at westcoaster.net and the photos from Robb's trip to Japan. There are several with "covers" at the top of the tower. Not to mention great themeing. Did I mention I hate Dodonpa? Okay, now we're getting off subject here. What were we talking about.... oh yes, BB, I don't particularly like Big Brother, oh other BB, right, ahem, I think in all honesty is just give up, we all now it is now fairly slow in wooden coasters, not to mention fairly unevenftul (kinda like Thunderbolt) and to be honest, the only ride really worth saving would be the Space Probe. Now there's a good ride.

Dreamworld attendance up for September quarter
I'm honestly going to stand by my side of the story here Richo, but please, prove me wrong in the meantime. Is it just co-incedence then that Superman the escape has had reductions also? A twin model ride like that just happens to have the exact same amount of cut-back as the Tower Of Terror does? Unlikely. STE has run liek crud from day one really, not to mention the work that has gone on recently, and then yet it still only runs at a percentage of what it is still supposed to do. And if you don't believe me about the ageing, here are some photos that do state otherwise. Good day. EDIT: can't find my bakcup archive for my dreamworld folder, but will take fresh photos tomorrow.

Bit over-priced for the water tower from knowledge really. Can someone pick me up a sapce probe gondola?

They'll continue to build on the tower, adjusting it for years to come to give different type of rides, and this my friends is very true.

Dreamworld attendance up for September quarter
It's not actually the fact that the power has been decreased.... The Tower Of Terror consists of 1995 technology which has slowed down quite alot seeming the computer systems haven't been updated. And what happens when your mum's cumputer gets old? It slows down. Hard drives begin to slow, you get cpu ware and tare, all these things contribute to the speed of the tower. It is still pumping out the same amount of megawatts though, which seems to be a bit of a waste really.

Safety? SAFETY? Then what do you have to explain when it was going up the full length the pod is supposed to go? Safety? Pfft, I laugh at your safety. I bet Dreamworld get their excuses from you too huh?

What would you like to see happen to the Bush Beast?
Movie World is a park of dignity, so don't get your hopes up about anything that starts with the letter B and comes from WLS coming up here. I think that unless it was newer, and bigger, Movie World wouldn't take it for a second.

New Ride Coming???
....Excellent........ So when will we hear more information about this mysterious attraction?
-
New Ride Coming???
Well that's a relief. So that means next year we're getting a coaster from Dreamworld and something big from Movie World? Nice.

The easiest way to go is to highlight what you want coloured, hit the colour button, pick the colour and vwallar! By the looks of things you only have the first part of the code, you need to tell the computer where you want the colour (say green for example) is supposed to finish.

Dreamworld attendance up for September quarter
They have the money to do both anyway, so there's no use arguing over whether or not they should get a bigger coaster or more themeing. And even if they didn't, I would much rather Dreamworld spend more capital on themeing. Why? Take a look at Disnyeland in Anaheim. The rides are not great, but are made to the highest quality using the best in themeing. Take a look at the Star Tours for example, your average simulator, except for the fact that you have a real full scale X-wing in the queue that has r2-d2 and c3po talking to each other. Not to mention the spark, smnoke and lighting effects. Then in the pod they have a animatronic robot to the side of the screen. The whole thing is very well detailed indeed. Now let's have a look at Dreamworld's Tower Of Terror. You walk up a very blank grey pathway to the skull which has cobwebs and spiders all stuck on, not to mention the plants that are growing out of the back of the skull and how it had collapsed in earlier this year. Then we walk down the blank and very grey pathway, up the industrial type stairs which make a hell-of-lotta' noise and into the area that has been around before Nick and when the skull was on the PROPER side. Here we have chewing gum on the pathway, loose hand rails, themeing which has been broken and trodden on, and vandalism literally everywhere. You are now at the very front of the queue and you notice the fact that there's a television screen that's operated about as many times as the second thunderbolt train did, and there's dust and graffiti everywhere. Next into the elevator shaft area, which is odd, because in order to cut back on staff, they stopped using the elevators, and instead used some crappy stairs, follows by this black crappy chipboard pathway. And when you thought it couldn't get much worse, you enter into the final zones where a)the door ever barely works, b)only half of the uv neons work, c)there are shoe marks over all over the walls, d)you can see all the roofing and everything is half built. Finally you hop on and notice that all the restraints are loose (particularly the front left restraint), they have that crappy red vynal over the original restraints because dreamworld didn't want to spend too much money of maintenance, and even when you get back from the ride, you notice that you went only 2/3 of the way up the tower. You hop out, collect your gear, and notice that the sign that says your speed has been turned off because Dreamworld are ashamed in showing the real speed or it just isn't working. But off course when you get down to the souvenir shop that is in immaculate condition. Great.

I fully disagree. I think that Dreamworld needs something on the scale of Silver Bullet at Knott's Berry Farm, it's all the main B&M elements with some new stuff thrown in. We need something totally different from the General Public's perspective, sure, maybe not a hydraulicly launched flying coaster, but how about just a normal flying coaster with some great landscape elements like Air thrown in? Now that would be nice indeed. And can you image that running up and down the Game Arcade and the Bumper cars? Now that would certainly make that half of the park look extra special.

Have you seen the Tower Of Terror lately? I would rather have several steel walls than what they deal to us. I had friends go today and were disguested by the themeing or the lack thereof.
