i have a photos of characters at guest relations there at the entrance i also have photos of the paddle boats near the rainbow i have the beastie when it first opened, i have a photo od a ride that is similarr to the tumble bug at luna park sydney i have a photo of the beach about 10 years ago, i have ned kellys getaway i have many of the bush beast and the snowy river rampage and i have the sky hawk and at the pirates part of the park at the front near the dodgems they had kodak photo with knights where you stick your head in like the ned kelly gang. and lastly i have a photo of an on ride photo in black and white on the beastie and bush beast. pity i cant show anyone the photos i havent got a scanner

i also got sent an email and she said that the 3 slides everyone is talking about are the same 3 slides that are already on the tower, she said wonderland may get new ones but the same design, but they have confirmed that tehre are just refurbishing the old slides. to confirm this i also rang up the park the demon and bush beast wont operate for a while and the snowy river rampage is operating.

you misunderstood me i meant that it was IMO that, thats what wodenrland will do it sounds like wonderland, and what possibly can they use it for the wildlife park the beastie is reopening for crying out loud i dont know when but it will reopen they may relocate it however the skyrider is staying in its correst location.

i said that they are refurbishing the slides hint hint. they are getting rid of the old crappy slides, and refurbishing them to be better and new slides. thats what she means. i can gurantee that wonderland isnt building new water slides i know many things that happen around the park. and that isnt one of them u took it the other way thinking they will be totally different slides when infact its new as in newly refurbished.

either way wonderland is stupid for closing 3 rides all at once for this so called maintanance that the lady said and secondly richard is right that if it was a hot summers day i wouldnt pack my bags and go to queensland to wet n wild but the facts are there, im just not fond on the idea of a water slide at wonderland, when i go to wonderland i dont just go to the beach i will devot half my time about 3 hrs at the beach and the left over time at the park there are a large pool to swim in, a freefall water slide, a wavy water slide and a tunnel water slide and lastly a kids pool and a mountain cascades ride which can all be fit in 3 hours, i can also go to st marys to ripples or the sydney aquatic centre, its fun there as well. my point is that if wonderland is aiming for a new attraction a roller coaster is the wway to go, i dont care about a themed land becasue they will eventually open a new themed world in the old little wodners land area and reuse the fred flinstone splash down and the beastie under different themes dont every bother ringing up wonderland for future details becasue my friend that works there is told that whatever happens at the meetings she has the discussion stays there they cant release or let ruomers or facts out on what the park is actually doing if any other theme park in australia hears what they are doing it will shatter wonderlands new attractions and everyone will be focused on something else. they want it kept sort of private so when they do open new rides or whatever it will give other theme parks a while to open there new attractions afterwards whcih keeps wodnerland focused bu australia for about 2 years at the max. thankyou

it all sounds crap to me if i wanted to go on a water slide i would go to wet n wild. who cares, a new ride a new roller coaster is very different from a plain old slide, the beach sucks to me dance partys good, but there are very different roller coasters each with a different feeling, a water slide is all the same to me, its only that the slide goes right rather than left or a bigger drop, big deal. all they will do is probably rename the mountain cascades and make it like a normal water slide.

if im not mistaken i really am sure that i heared by my friend that works there that they are repainting the slides they are still there but they might repaint them in a later stage.

the latest news ive heared from wonderland is that they are repainting the slides as people shoule have noticed i dont thing they are actually attached to the tower as of yet. a little rumor from screamscape they say that maybe a little attraction such as a slide will be installed in time for the opening of the beach in september. personally i think they will get ride of the mountain cascades and put in like a bunch of slides where you dont need like a boat just a normall regular water slide. does anyone remember the slide they had similar to the double screamer at wet n wild. that was fun.

the photos are ok i think richard you could have done better than shots of the ride from a panormaic distance. did you take the photos from the highway or on the bridge richard? becasue there are some photos with fences at the front. other than that its ok.

im desperate to know well does anyone knoe if the bush beast is open as of yet becasue ive got a pupil free day coming up and my friends and i are going to wonderland and the main rides we really want open is the space probe, demon, bush beast and bountrys revenge. so if anyone knows of these rides closed for a few weeks or they know anything about the bush beast please add a post! thanx ciao buonanotte

thunderbolt can never go to luna park sydney, the question is where?, its a very large ride to fit somewhere there.

i thought if i heared correctly that they were dismantling the whole ride keeping the first drop and the 2 loops, totally fixing the ride and making it more exciting, the first drop is a bit sad, its not steep or snything and it doesnt pick up a lot of speed. IMO they should get ride of the whole ride and do like an inverted version with two 21m loopsto actually keep there record of having the first 21 m loops in the southern hemisphere.

ive been twice this year and thats my point i dont go very often which when i do makes the experience better than go ver now and then.

i rekon that dreamworld is the best theme park i have been in australia. it had the tallest roller coaster in the world, it has the tallest ride in the world, it has many great rides including wipeout, eureks mine ride, reef diver and one of the best roller coasters the cyclone, it contains a newly themed area witha kiddie roller coaster. i can keep on going on, but the fact that its busy or some downfsalls as the food is **** or they dont have many sideshows or anything like that doesnt make it a bad park at all, isnt that what we want, everyone is waiting for wonderland to actually start fighting back to be better than dreamworld and you think when it does happen wonderland wont draw crowds back again, it will be the most buisiest park in australia, cedar point, disneyworld florida and disneyland tokyo are one of a few very busy parks soaring with guests everywhere. you cant expect dreamworld to build a new ride or rides and not expect good attendances, dreamworld, movie world and a little o seaworld are the only australian theme parks that advertise on tv, mainly only dreamworld. now really think about it, is dreamworld the not good? dont judge the park if u visit it every week or every few weeks and then you get sick ofit like i did at wonderland now i gave it a big miss since 2001 jst to get myself excited and now im going there next saturday with friends and for once i am looking forward to going to wonderland. well reconsider before you actually post something.

this is my theory i know everyone is saying that they will be splitting the beach which is a good idea becasue what they are probably doing is seperating it as a drifferent fee for those who just want to go to the beach but none of yous mentioned one thing, who said that visitors actually going to wonderland can't go, it will be like the australian wildlife park where you can go to the main park the wildlife and the beach all at once. i mean dreamworld and seaworlds beach area is small compared to wonderlands and yes they probably will add new attractions, i dont really think it needs refurbishing as the tropical plams and plants make the area look so nice and thats it.

what are u all going on about the bush beast is great i love it, i mean the first drop is a hell razer even though i put my hands up but i love the whole lot, its fast still and its still the best and the only wooden roller coaster in australia! so we shouldnt complain as we are lucky to have a wooden roller coaster next to us, its different from the rest and a much different experience.

because for about a couple of times when it first operated the power was fresh and new and it made the ride go an extra 1 or 2 km, and it could make a difference going and extra 2 km could be maybe 1 or 2 metres extra up the tower. which was above the 100 m drop, thats why the australians claimed that the TOT was actually faster and taller than superman.

i rode it at the sydney royal easter show, it was built in france and they sent it here, i dont know what was so good about it, it was short not enough sharp turns and it was like a normal wild mouse roller coaster for about 3/4 of the way until it started to spin. it was a bit fun but thats all i recall. i really liked the zipper, that was the first time and definately not the last, luna park sydney should actually install it back in the park like old times, it doesnt take up a lot of room as well.

well when the TOT first opened it broke the 160 km/hr barrier by comething like 2 km which made the ride the tallest roller coaster in the world becasue superman the escape went the actual 160km/hr the last time i rode the ride it went the usual 156km/hr which would not make a big difference probably1 or 2 metres different, but u could notice it in speed.

the information i received on the bush beast is that they are either fixing the track because it is rusted by greasing it or spraying it or something. or they are completing or continuing their process of replacing the old wood with new wood. i have noticed that in the last year with brand new wood on the real old rotten pieces. definately not retracking the ride. wonderland would not go to that extreme of retracking a ride even in 2 - 3 weeks and everybody in this forum is very keen on getting wonderland information and they would have already picked up info saying if there would be retracking. they closed the river rampage in that time slot to refurbish the ride, but in extreme cases i really think they are fixing the queue lines or the entrance to the bush beast by maybe repainting the station or putting a new design on the trains at the front.

to everyone especially thunder in the other forum 'digging everyone get excited' i would like to apologise for my behaviour and for a fact i am not a kid im a teen lol. ell im a lot younger than most of the guys here and i wont be around here much longeer discussing roller coasters on a website. anywayz i got way out of control and with my anger i took it out on the person who gave me the ****s teh most, and i didnt mean to offend you. half my info may be correct, none of the info is ruomers. the info i receive is all twisted around and exaggerated not by me but by the people i got the info from which leaves everything half true, but we still dont know if the info that everyone posts is correct unless wonderland releases actual info about the park, so we should wait an see. again sorry thunder arriverdici e una buonanotte!

hey thunder i have had it with you all i ask in return is if my information is incorrect is for anyone to reply with their theory or with their material in a polite manner. what ever anybody writes its there opinion in my case it wasnt it was factual information. everybody in this forum has different stories and different information on Wonderland or any park. Bastado! im sick of it. calm down we are only discussing in your case debating in a nice manner not like a bloody idiot. so next time you comment on anything i say please please please reply in a nice manner. i try to make firneds with everyone in the forum and quite franlky ive lost hope on you. and thunder if you have read my post i said that the clearing of land is for the new park entrance, where did you get the park spitting the beach from the main park. i said teh buisness park needs an entrance and wonderland is getting rid of the old park entrance. and building a new one located right next to the beach through thye road which leads to the employees carpark. there is no new rides in the beach there is no splitting the beack from the park. this is all factual becasue i know for a fact becasue i send emails to the park they send emails becak with the right info and my friend works there every day besides the weekends and explains to me what is happening. so please your info is bull so update it correctly.

i told you everyone that the park was building a new park entrance. i knew it. now the odl park entrance will be the new park entrance to the buisness park with the same road leading towards the carparks except the road goes longer to the back carparks. now the park strands as long as up to the minchinbury resovior located about 50 metres from the beastie. the land goes from the demon up until the motorway in which you will see a fence pretty close to the motorway. teh ride that was mentioned by everyone will come in christmas this year my friend that works there believes. my cousin just came back from wonderland yesterday and said the park has fixed up the river rampage and the guesyers or sprays in the water has been fixed and timed better so that they all get you. in that case she said they have. now lets get this right wonderland is building a new park entrance, a new ride and new sttractions, but believe me IMO i think this ride will not t all be big. i think it will be a kids ride or a simple ride now thunder did this person yu got your info from say ride or roller coaster? there is a difference.

the beastie was the first roller coaster or even the first ride i ever rode in my life. i was 5 when i first rode it. it was the best memory i ever had, but i was scared to go on the demon, space probe and the bush beast until i was 11. now ill go on any ride in the world. im thinking of going sky diving or bungee jumping. thats how willing i am to go on anything scary in the world. actually i hate ghost trains or haunted houses. ill go on them but i wont like it.
