yes and the one i was referring to in my ultimate theme park is troika because it is some much fun than it looks like richard mentioned. ive never ridden something like that. it is also called scorpion at the sydney royal easter show.
-
thats exactly what i am talking about those pictures are the ride tumble bug known as troika which is located at the front of luna park sydney, and yes it is called tumble bug.
-
the tumblebug is like a ziller in the air. its so much sun. ive got some pictures of it at luna park sydney. you would better know the tumblebug as the scorpion at the ekka and the sydney royal easter show.

i have ridden big dipper and cyclone both at dreamworld and luna park and i liked it better at luna park because it looked good. i liked cyclone becasue i like how it goes about 1 metre higher than the big drop just to pick up speed, but i disliked the banked hills becasue they slowed the ride down, yes the loops do feel nothing on the ride where as on the demon there is a different sensation which maked the ride feel more exciting. Going backwards certainly maked the ride feel scarier and your stomach churns well still Demoin is the best!
-
well the demon has many features, there is 3 loops and drops at a reasonable height and speed and for starters goes through the ride backwards and mind you completing another 3 loops making 6 in total and cyclone loses a lot of speed during the banked curve and only does 2 loops, now really which is better. more exciting? more thrilling? Demon!

Whats your opinion? Is Wonderland's demon better than Dreamworl'd Cyclone or is Dreamworld's Cyclone better than Wonderland's Demon? please explain your answer
-
lol true, but keep in mind it aint as powerful as tower of terror, it could be really small only about 100km/hr at 50 metres high. well i personally think as good as it is that they could get rid of coney island, and install a roller coaster there. remember luna park sydney had a roller coaster now called turbo mountain at adventure world. it could easily fit there.
-
well i was told that MAYBE i didnt say for sure that in the future they mat still put in the river caves. if any rollercoasters were put in the park or rides that take minimal space a tower of terror like rollercoaster but a small version or a space probe ride could easily accomodate in the park.

hey listen luna park sydney has and always will be the same carnival type park. it is very small, yes i think they may squeeze in a roller coaster, but luna parks all around the world, were like the first parks every created, only on small land in large parts or cities around the world, for example melbourne, sydney, new york to name a few. its not about money luna park sydney is redeveloping the park at a minimum cost of $72 million. if you say that the park isnt doing anything your wrong. rides doesnt mean that the park is doing well. besides they may put the river caves back in the park as they told me that it could be the only solution to making more rides. Personally i think they are putting in the river caves, except not telling the public for a surprise.

Ona very sad note, at wonderland 2 days ago a 16 year old died at one of the construction sites at the front of the parks entrance. He feel head first on concrete and it was his 3rd day of work. What i'm shocked about is that they never supplied him with any harness. who knows, the family i think is going to sue and then the company might have to forfeit plans to build at wonderland. On other news people have noticed cleared land near the beach for the new wonderland park entrance. The old entrance stands directly in front of one of the building sites, which will be used for the company's entrance as well as the buildings down at the back. if wonderland actually buils rides as much as they fix up the park, they will be in great shape!

umm yeah but i just rang the park up and its extended till 10

Interesting Tell me Richard the cost to actually buy the land must be a lot as well assuming everyone says Wonderland is bigger than Dreamworld (im not sure please correct me) they must of payed a lot for the land as well not to mention now that they have sold many of the car parks at the back.
-
You are right Richard, but take in consideration that Wonderland is run by different owners than Dreamworld. Dreamworld may have the money to keep on improving the park where as Wonderland may be sort of poorer than Dreamworld. There is no chance that Wonderland can compete with Luna Park, but Luna Park is a heritage park and must be kept there. Wonderland has already beaten them. Like the lady said yesterday and another time before, the park doesnt make a profit a day, she said maybe call it equal and it depends on the amount of people a day. I think Wonderland is saving up the money for over the past 8 years to get back the money they spent so then when they do build a roller coaster, they are more comfortable with there financial problems if there are any and im sure that there will be more than one ride. IMO I'd like to see Wonderland build about 5 thrill rides than 1 roller coaster. Keep in mind the Wildlife park makes more money than Wonderland itself, thats where the money is going towards.

well i just got back from Wonderland yesterday and what a day it was it was pretty packed to start off with we walked through the shop to notice this superhero headquarters which looked like **** well anyway the park was full of sschool kids and many teenagers. we noticed tasmanian devil was closed and the cars pulled off for refurbishment. Yes, transilvania looks weired with all the newly painted shops and the new look of the cool zone which looked creepy and better before it was repainted. the demon was packed and the space probe. i hoped the bush beast would open but it didnt and there were people actuallu walking on top at the bottom all over the ride fixing it. there were tests on the ride one with 2 people riding it but on the second hill it stopped at the small conveyabelt or pulley before the U turn. when it slowly moved it didnt even stop at the brakes before the second drop. weired. the ride then seemed altogether fast. the beach is really new nothing too different. the mountain cascades arent even opened yet. the river rampage is really great all the 8 sprays got us. they were all working and yes that ride was packed out too. the front entrance of the park looks crap with the front walls gone and there are cranes and dirt and a big mess everywhere. the first factory right in the middle of the road looks bombarding and then in the distance you can see the other factories in the back carparks. like i said the new park entrance will be built right next to the beach, you can already see the clearing of the land. there was a new stage being built on the waterfront where the old ship use to stand and now there is a new water geyser spraying out water in a nice way. lastly the lady operating the river rampage at the time stated that wonderland is NOT building any new rides for the near future. she said maybe another 2-3 years. She said that the park has has a reasonable park attendance every holidays and it still gets very busy in september and christmas for the summer. she said that the the comitee thinks that it is not necessary for new rides to be built becasue they still get a good response. I mean come on in queensland new rides have to be built for there competitors dreamworld, movie world, wet n wild and sea world. on the holidays in sydney there is only wonderland and thats it, so thats all people go to. if there was another 2 or 3 theme parks in sydney then there will be more rides, but it isnt necessary, everyone complains in this forum about the lack of rides at wonderland but yet you still love the park, you still attend. Dont come up with anymore of these crappy ruomers becasue they arent true unless you have facts written information from the website, you must have a source. I can tell you now that the park will not get a new ride for a while they blew a massive $10 million on the space probe and thats the end of it. thankyou.

that date is the chance to buy ur coke bottle and actually send it in the barrel. there is only one shot at it. the park keeps the million if no one wins it and let me rephrase my last post here. there are 9000 bottles not 3000 so really no one will win id be surprised if wonderland even has the million to give away.
-
but it states that the 30 paticipants who make it to choose a bottle in the pool have a 1in 3000 chance in winning the $1 million. there are 3000 bottles and each participant only chooses one. so really all 30 people will walk home with $100 each. fat chance anyone will get the million.

I just sent an email to wonderland and long story short received a reply. Th park does have a few ideas up there sleeves, but she said that they are not planning anything or announcing anything to soon. She said they havent yet released what they are doing to the park, but she said the commitee is planning new rides, yes that rideS! in the upcoming 2-3 years. the bush beast will not open until saturday unfortunately for me as im going there on friday. and other than that the after 5 pm returns this saturday for the summer. thankyou and ill give a detailed description of the park in the next week so keep looking. ciao
-
what do u mean by that?
-
they never reply flea do you know any ride closures at the moment? seing though you always go
-
does anyone know any current ride closures and rides that will actually close within the next 2 weeks does anyone know if the bush beast is open and if not does anyone knoe when it will open? because im planning to go to wonderland next friday with a group of ffiends and the only rides we are concerned about is the bush beast, demon, bountys revenge, snowy river rampage and the space probe well they are about the only rides we will go on
