did anyone realise how cheap ING or wonderland for that matter sold the park for $52 million,thats very cheap. in the area at horsley park the land is very valuable all around horsley and eastern creek fetching over $1 million for 1 hectare. Wonderland Sydeny should have been sold for over $100 million It goes to show how cheap wonderland or how desperate they were to get rid of the park.

and just about 10 minuted ago there was a tribute special about wonderland sydney, very sad, interesting but still advertising. the park was advertised explaining to go to enjoy your last days at wonderland sydney, it was very sad to see but it should still open peoples minds.

people in the west that worked at wonderland sydney are not going to get a job all the way in the east at milsons point in the city. yes it may be hard to get a job but there are many jobs still to offer. that doesnt mean there is no jobs for people to get plus a lot of lazy unitteligent people are at centrelink.

who give s a **** about people getting jobs. there are 3 million people living from an area from penrith to the city which offeres thousnads of jobs, most of these people include kids. tokyo has over 5 million people in tokyo city, where are the jobs there, so lets no start about people getting more jobs becasue it bull ****. theres a difference between a factory and an amusment park. MY FRIENDS ARE SAYING THAT ALL THE RIDES WELL THE MAIN RIDES, THE BUSH BEAST AND DEMON ARE CLOSED ALREADY. WHAT RIDES ARE OPEN AND CLOSED AT THE MOMENT!

i have something that may shock you, remember when the child died from the factories. well when that happened inspectors inspected the site as well as wodnerland, apparantly the park was told to fix a few things such as rides ect. and the cost was extradonairy, the bush beast needed more work done than a few pailings of wood, the demon need a coast of paint and the park itself needed a few things fixed up. wonderland than had no choice but to sell, close down, or operate a park in debt. well thats just a theory that has been going around but it has been true, the rides have been closed and refurbished which also took a lot of money out. and the swinging chairs is now swinging boats, whats going on, the park clearly cant operate a park with the money that they dont have. it still doesnt give an excuss for closing a perfectly good park down, you have 2 perfectly good wooden roller coasters a mad themed space probe ride a boomerang roller coaster a wildlife park and everything.

it didnt only affect wonderland im sure the whole list would of affected every theme park and all around the world. its crap, why didnt they seel the park to another company, why didnt they bring it up with sixflags or dreamworld even or anywhere for that matter before just selling the place to ING. sydney is going to be reallyu boring on the holidays now, and none of you say that at least we have luna park, oh what a bloody carnival, they better build another park in sydney becasue its the only largest populated place in australia reeaching what a good 3 million residents living in sydney. if anything wodnerland was probably doing to well and thought hey im making money how bout i make more buy selling the bloody place. i rest my case. for now.

i would like to end with a final note i wish wodnerland sydney the best i know these next few weeks will be packed out becasue everyone at school is going. i wish everyone the best i also hope these rides may find new homes, after 19 years of fun amzment one of the best theme parks is coming to a close which altogether still sounds weireed, does the wildlife park also go or is that staying? just now according to channel ten news most workers were shocked to find this morning that that park was closing. the park will definately not be opening again as the land has been sold fort over $50 million. the rides will be ever sold if possible or demiolished. this is the final eviction there is no way the park can come back now its horrible to hear peoepl have been complaining and are frustrated but its official.

dont think positive becasue there aint no coming back the park is closing i am devastated we are all devasted especially residents of sydney, i suggest everyone should have tgheir last ride before the park closes, this bull ****. i knew it would happen but only in another 7 years, it's too eraly to make rash descisions. sell the rides to onlt australian companies, dreamworld, movie world, its the only smart thing to do. i thought they were closing it down and refurbshing but now the biggest forum here just got worse, richard i think after wonderland closes this forum will completely be unpoplar for the fact that there is no need to talk about wonderland when there is no wonderland. im in a wreck, im heading down saturday night and im taking my camera for my last precious memories.

yeah river caves was just a slow boat ride, through a cave. it closed becasue when the ghost train caught the people dies becasue there was no emergency exits, the same thing was with the river caves, so it was closed down.

i can just tell that no one will like luna park when it opens because you people only care about the rides and theres nne of that, whats there to enjoy now when there is no big dipper, i think they still could of had the big dipper with the circus underneath it like the ghost train was. the park wont be exciting just refurbished.

i know this is off topic but there is movie world, universal studios, do you think it would be good doing dreamworks studios doing rides based on Nemo or toy story or shrek or stuff like that.

did anyoen know that where the dodgems caurrently is located under the wild mouse will be a kids party room, where will the dodgems be located now? it says on the website that it will be refurbished but thats it.

i think it's a good idea, if it employees many people and they want to go on a lunch break the closest cafe' would be luna park, so its good in a way, it looks attractive and if anyone say channel 9 news for the full report, it showed the history of the park showing the big dipper when it was going to dreamworld and then they showwed like 30 years back when the wooden big dipper was there, it looked all interesting. does anyone have historical luna park photos witgh the wooden big dipper in it.

the closest thing to a bungee ride at wonderland was the bungee trampoline which they introduced infront of the dodgems which wasn't very succesful, it was only $15 but for something that costs $30 i don't think so.

first it was movie world with wild west falls, then the fairground accident then the dreamworld fiasco, 2 of which are located on QLD gold coast. im not sure if the other was in QLD , please mistake me for that.

i always wanted to make or invent a roller coaster where the 360 degree vertical loop becomes upside down. just a thought.

what was weired was that tower of terro was operating in the rain that day. My mother said it never stopped raining and in fact it got worse. then she went on tower of terror. it seems weired.
