Wet 'n' Wild Sydney Construction
^That got me thinking, I'm wondering how the capacity of WnWSyd rates against WnWGC. I guess you could give each park a score based upon the number of flumes in use, multiplied by the number of people each flume takes per dispatch. Not perfect, but it gives a rough idea. I'll exclude the kids areas, upcharges, wave pools and lazy rivers because both would be fairly equivalent. WnWGC Mammoth Falls 2x4 Constrictor 1x3 Aqualoop 4x1 Whitewater Mountain 4x1 Kamikaze 2x2 Tornado 1x4 Jet Streams 3x1 Sidewinders 2x3 Black Hole 2x2 Super Racer 8x1 Score: 48 WnWSyd 360Rush 4x1 Racer 8x1 Tornado 1x4 Tornado Wave 1x4 Tantrum 1x4 Double Bowlseye 1x4 Family Raft Slides 2x4 Tropical Cyclone 1x2 Master Blasters 4x2 Rattler 1x3 'Black Hole' 1x2 Half Pipe 1x2 Score: 53

Just waiting for multiple Wonderland fans to suggest Snowy River Rampage.

Wavepool
I cant find the photo, but on the left hand side of the WnW wave pool on the fence there is a little sign that explains how the system works, complete with a diagram.

Yes. I can't see anybody who claimed it would just be bare concrete around everything. Naturally the landscaping would have been one of the last things in the construction programme.

Nobody said otherwise though?

^Splash Cash ins't RFID though. I've used a system similar to what Zanstabar described at Wild Wadi. I liked it because every locker had it's own scanner on the door rather than having to go to a centralised touch screen module shared by several lockers. I've never been one to bother loading money on to buy food etc. If I'm stopping for lunch I'm probably going via my locker to reapply sunscreen and check my phone.

Sea World and Killer Whales
A few of us hold the opinion that a killer whale is the wrong sort of animal to hold in captivity. Small mammals like Dolphins and Seals are fine, but a Killer Whale is just too big.

Disney Kingdom Resort for Australia (brainstorming)
So what else could you do in a marvel theme park other than stuff themed around characters with superhuman abilities.

My edit was 1 min after my original post to correct a typo.

Learn to spell. Yeah, but despite that, it still gives them a fair bit of room to move in terms of the types of attractions they could develop. Marvel just doesn't have that breadth. Such as? Wow, an attraction based around learning how comics are made. Sounds completely appealing and interesting

Agreed AlexB, even in MWs first years they had themes for attractions as diverse as Looney Tunes, the Gremlins, young Einstein, Batman, Police Academy and a live Western show...a pretty diverse set.

RWC I'm curious to know what the attraction of a dedicated Marvel theme park would be? I'll put it like this. Quite a few people have commented that they'd like Movie Worlds next attraction to be something other than a superhero theme. What does that tell you? Bascially, I think superhero related stuff can make for a good theme, but there is such thing as overkill. After all, it's not like Islands of Adventure devotes the whole theme park to Marvel Super heroes...It's just one island along with areas devoted to cartoon characters, Dr Seuss, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter and ancient mythology. Something for everyone. There's also the challenge of marketing a Marvel only park to people who aren't really interested in superheros. How would you go about attracting "The mum and dad with daughters aged 7 and 9" for instance? If we use Movie World as an example, they'd still attract that group because of the stuff related to the Looney Tunes, Scooby Doo and so on. I'm firmly of the opinion that a theme park with a single theme is far too limiting, because you are locked into one narrow set of ideas and can't easily branch out, or adapt to changing tastes and new hits.

Does it really matter? Why should anyone else care what decsion is made? This stuff is pure foaming and appears to not be going anywhere beyond the inside of your own head and has no bearing on anything. (Nothing that even remotely brings it to life in a more tangible way like an RCT version of this park or a set of concept art) LOL I mean if this is just purely a thought experiment why not just say the ride has several overlays that rotate every hour? Hai guyz wat colour should the trash cans in the theme park be, yellow or blue?

Adventure World New Coaster - Abyss
I guess it's halfway to being a Saw clone....not a carbon copy, but its literally got the same set of inversions, hills and turns, just folded out slightly to fit the site.

Dreamworld AVPX Replacement
Personally I'm viewing it as "We don't feel like spending too much money at the moment so we'll revert to a low cost attraction we've run in the past".

Dreamworld AVPX Replacement
Is it really an 'answer' though? They've had a few scare attractions in the past, albeit not too permanent.

^Cheers for that as always Julys. Right on schedule, nearmap did a flyover on the 4th too... Park overview: Tornado Wave, Dark Tornado, Tantrum Alley: The Whitewater West complex, with the four Master Blaster express slides now done. The Mammoth Slides and Bowling Alley...Interesting how they've set the top platform up, with all 3 starter tubs having easy access to the top of the conveyer. Bits of the childrens area, from the proslide KIDZ range. It looks as though it'll be like WnW Phoneix, with minatures of the larger rides. Nothe starter tub pieces... this will be the first water park in Australia to have inner tube slides for kids too. On the left, foundations for the kids area. Lazy river and beach entry.

Luna Park Sydney - B&M Coaster!
Well then where is the actual "Announcement?" from the park that the article mentions? I'm locking this topic, feel free to PM me if there is more substantial evidence available and I can unlock it.

Superman Escape Loose Items
See I don't agree. It's $10 for an all day locker versus $2 for one at Superman. You'd have to do at least 5 separate rides on Superman for an all day locker to be worthwhile.

Adventure World New Coaster - Abyss
^From the press release, but the wording seems so confused that it seems 50-50 in terms of what inversions it will have. I don't see why a cobra roll would be unlikely though.

You'd get caught out though with the other basic things you'd reasonably have on you, like your phone and car keys. If I do have a bag, I'd keep it with me because. 1) It wastes time to have to keep walking back to the locker. 2) I'm a responsible adult, so I don't leave stuff behind in shows or on rides. 3) I'm used to lugging a laptop and text books to uni and back, so walking around with a small light backpack is hardly the bother you make it out to be.
