  1. Doing a quote, or using ^ ^ ^'s (the number of which corresponding with the number of posts above) avoids that issue.
  2. Plus it's an Australian site here, so Superman gets more laughs.
  3. You can go crazy for something that isn't a coaster. Jussayin. Why does it matter what Zamperla is "looking to do". LPM is under no obligation to fulfil Zamperlas marketing aspirations. I'm sure Intamin were "looking to sell" several Aquatrax coasters....Doesn't mean say Sea World has to buy one, or that SW has to work with Intamin. Same thing here.
  4. Can anyone photograph/scan the fright nights map?
  5. I remember seeing that when the park was first announced...It seems to have changed a bit since then, with a few more attractions etc.
  6. First few weeks the score wasn't being superimposed, guess they got it working
  7. Basically, Scooby Is open 364 days per year, excluding annual maintenance. On the other hand mazes are only open 6 or so days per year, and only 5 hours each night....and you are paying extra in some way to have the experience of them. Why bother with it on the night? It takes away time from the Halloween only stuff. To me it's like going to SFMM on a holiday, but spending your day on the pirate ship, bumper cars etc rather than riding the B&Ms and other coasters we don't have in Australia.
  8. It was posted by JamberooFan on the 19th of October:
  9. Wouldn't Imagineers prefer to design their own ride?
  10. Marvel is owned by Disney. But even so, Universal would own the IP to the ride concepts themselves, so you wouldn't see a clone of Amazing Adventures of Spiderman for instance.
  11. ^If it's a dream fantasy Disney park, wouldn't it be better to have more unique attractions (Like what they did with several at Disneysea?)
  12. Does not belong in a Disney park IMO. DCA should never have built it. Also, would rather see Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Trains over Big Thunder Mountain.
  13. Hey mba2012, have you gone out and taken any photos for anyone lately?
  14. Right so explain to me how they have been able to get the land for WnW Sydney? Also explain to me why the price of commerical land is tied to the price of the consumer housing market. Thirdly, explain to me why a fully fledged park cant just be built in a land efficient manner, like Universal Singapore.
  15. Land costs are higher, but remember these days you can charge a lot more for tickets, food etc than you could in 1992. When inflation happens, everything rises together.
  16. Aren't you better off going to the site of the people who make the forum software?
  17. For me, the logic would be to build a place people from Melbourne and the surrounding regional cities would fill up every weekend, with people who would subsequently buy food etc. (Sell $99 all year passes) It would be closed in the coldest parts of the year, and perhaps some days per week on the shoulders. Surely We all know how much regular visitation you can generate from a value yearly pass scheme. The difference here is a Melbourne theme park has less competition than the GC, and a larger local population.
  18. ^Intamin Zacspin. End of topic Also, LPM confirmed Mack were not involved with the scenic railway. pic.twitter.com/On4PCaJk Ahahahahah Hahaha Ha
  19. How else would could you possibly do it anyway? Maybe if there was a screen/led sign behind the car in view of the camera, but the quality of that would be crap compared to just digitally overlaying the score:
  20. I have actually asked nicley, it doesn't matter what side of the argument you are on really. PM back and forth or something if you want to keep going.
  21. I think having it plonked at the bottom of that screen would be a break of theme and would be too hard to pay attention to the main screen and the small one. Better to have it overhead as you approach the unload. Xrazzberry you can't see other peoples scores if sat in the front.....also stop being a wanker with semantics.
  22. I'd repeat a maze because you can't reride them at any time.
