So what is driving this RCT3 Renassiance? Did everyones computers finally get good enough to run it Anyway, I liked it...Had the feel of a real Intamin hyper with the sudden pulls up and down, and that stengel dive-esque turn at 0:36. Everyone got smashed into the sides of their steats at 0:42 though... On second thoughts, intamins tend to do that on the turns too. So 10/10 for realism in hindsight.

Re flogging a dead horse....Well, it has to end sometime. Nobody talks about Eureka or the Bushranger Show being gone that much anymore.

Another idea for your nintendo section...A Donkey Kong mine cart coaster.

I can see where you are coming from, but the ride would be a bit boring if the only fast bit was the curve through the air, even if the crashing special effects were good. Something like Sonic, where you would have a chance to do lots of loops etc at high speed, would be a stronger idea and more fun if you were doing a launcher. Hey, how's this for a toungue in cheek suggestion, what about a Pokemon themed dark ride, set in a cave, except the ride stops every 5 seconds because "a wild zubat appears", so, what would otherwhise be a quick an easy ride becomes a drawn out ordeal.

You could do a retro themed zone too, with a pacman themed indoor wild mouse, and a tetris themed drop tower.

Ah, I guess thats the coasters block system it action Anway, the point of this post is to say that people thought Buzzsaw was the best in Aus too when it opened (Including some enthusiasts). Do people still think that. Any new coaster is going to be novel and loved by guest, especially one like GL which is comfortable and has basically nothing wrong with it. Give it a couple of years, and everything settles down again.

A forum isn't a competition for seeing how long people keep replying. Some topics eventually die off because once people have had their say, then there is nothing to keep it going. Nobody else had been replying because everyone on here who posts often had said what rides they had been stuck on. Everyone else has either never been stuck on a ride, or isn't interested in posting on this topic. It was popular the first few days, because the majority of people interested in replying would have done so early. Does that make sense?

There's one dark water ride at Disney nobody loves.... "it's a small world". I'd happily see the Mexican boat ride at Epcot get replaced too.... That thing was absolute rubbish and it saddens me to think there are imagineers out there thinking they had turned out a good project with that one.

If I owned a theme park, Id be tricky and link audio track programming with the queue time information system. The amount of length of the queue area taken up, at various queue times, varies. On a quiet day, queue audio would be on a shorter loop to make sure every guest gets the story in the time spent waiting (5-10 min) On busier days, the loop would be longer to avoid repetitivness.
