I wonder if would be possible to get the licence from BBC to do a Dr Who themed ride. It could br really good. You could start off by going in the Tardis and when you get out you find yourself somewhere face to face with an army of Daleks. Prehaps it could have an interactive element to it where you have to try and shoot them.

Nah, not another simulator, a tracked ride will be more fun. Actually, at the moment im afraid MW might continue its stratergy of ride replacment or refitting by re theming the looney tunes river ride.

Personally I think the Charlie and the Choclate family name deserves more than a walkthrough, it could quite easily be a boat ride like the one in the movie. Another option is a glass elevator ride. The vehicles could be glass or perspex replicas hung from an overhead track (there is a travelling ghost train that has a similar suspended system) and you would go on an adventure through the factory.

I guess its not really a theme park,its a water park, and if you added WnW you would then have to add all the other smaller waterparks, pretty soon you would have a database full of rides nobody really cares about.

I was just wondering if anyone has gone to see bucaneer bay in the flesh yet, or taken any photos? I have been quite interested to see how the whole place has turned out but there seems to have been a bit of silence despite its opening.

Sounds like a good commitment, since the money could be split up with some saved (where it could gather interest) with the rest being poured into yearly projects. But 12 million every two years could build a superman sized coaster which could be very cool.

what do you think an articulated bus is? Just thinking about it, i think it is a really good idea, imagine what you could do. Because riders cant see the track you could mae very unexpected ride paths. Imagine a ride themed to a colapising building for example. Your car could be traveing through a large room while dodging and swerving erratically around bits of debris.

The cars are battery powered and self guided, i think they either follow a hidden cable or have the layout programmed.

I dont think anyone here really came up with the idea for a superman themed coaster anyway, Six Flags have been building them for years. Anyone who has suggested a ride like that on here (Including myself) have probably drawn inspiration from the rides at SF parks.

I always got the impression around coaster sites that being on the ride when it rolls back was a holy grail of sorts. I reckon it would be fun, it would be like being on the TOT.

So far I have only seen two tube track for the brake run, but i was expecting to see more of it onsite for the indoor sections.

That film has been around for a little while now, but the DVD one uses those blue and red 3d glasses rather than the LCD or polarising ones used by commercial 3D theatres.

So once SP and zodiac go, will the park be completley empty of rides?

Just wondering if you could post the track file, it could be faster and better than downloading a video. Also, does anyone know if the indoor section has been built yet? I havent seen any pics of the two tube track they would use for those sections in the carpark, onsite etc. yet which leaves me wondering.

Well Geelong is just down the road so people could stay there and further on south is the Surf Coast which already is a popular tourist area. The area already has good Infastructure and It wouldnt take much to build a motel or something. I doubt it would cost even half that, I imagine Jetstar would run all manner of packages for people to visit the park which could make things cheaper. Also, what you need to remember is that for some people a domestic holiday would be easier than an overseas one and would sooner spend money on Disney trip to somewhere in Australia rather than going overseas. And people wouldnt just stay in Avalon, they could go to Geelong or Melbourne from there. Or people on Holiday in Melbourne could take a trip down there.
