Because you dont have to look at a waterpark and I guess some marginal benefit in terms of getting to the back of the park a bit faster, if you are using the train for transport rather than 'the ride'. Wonder who is doing the carriages? Severn Lamb?

Basically, RMC track is made of laser cut plates that are welded/bolted together to form a box. The Intamin one is more like standard tubular track, they’ve just got the tubes basically touching each other instead of having a truss type arrangement as seen on Superman.From CoasterBot discord.
