  1. Sort of like this https://www.parkz.com.au/photo/20465-Adventure_Pier/gallery/sort/newest/location/park-291/offset/43 But it needs more words stencilled on it, like "Live, Laugh, Love"
  2. Ok a show of hands, who even knew DW had these things before DW announced they were closed.
  3. From outside it looks like the slides are the coolest thing ever weaving in and out of the rockwork, but inside it was unthemed and all the slides were open air so it was basically just like a giant warehouse. Did look impressive though!
  4. Yeah, it's been at the Kybong travel stop for years, which itself has now been bypassed. https://www.google.com/maps/@-26.3068695,152.7214337,3a,40.7y,297.05h,90.7t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s4VM_8s5q9cinCT-iAV80qA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 I stopped off to have a look when I was passing through one evening, still open but shadow of its former self with a massive food court that has been cleared of chairs and multiple areas closed off, so it just feels desolate.
  5. Probably because you could pick another body of water in the park where it looks less silly.
  6. I rode it at Mall of America, it's good but you get spritzed with water more than a ride at Universal Studios.
  7. Westfield Coomera has equivalents though for people that enjoy branded fast casual....Bettys Burgers, Burgerd, Miss Claudes Crepes, Bavarian Beer Cafe etc
  8. My vote is for Speedcoaster, a boring, forceless slide you didn't get wet on, and Aqualoop looks better and more exciting.
  9. ^Or a cheap all inclusive trip to Bali or Thailand even.
  10. So, are there any attraction removals you weren't bothered by or were happy to see go?
  11. What concrete ones? The concrete foundations have always been the natural grey concrete colour:
  12. All of the supports have always been blue when the ride has been at DW (Until now anyway)
  13. Yaaaay Space Mountain!
  14. The outside jet streams with the three dips you'd get Airborne on. And Bermuda with Fire.
  15. You alright love? 300 x $1m = $300m Australia doesn't have 300 people in. That all said, $300M for a new ride would be hard to get a return on here, thats like double the cost of an entire park like WnW Sydney.
  16. Skip to 3:04 if you just want to see the POV.
  17. Perth has better coasters than both Melbourne and Sydney
  18. I think the challenge is finding a boat that simultaneously fits the geometry of that channel whist meeting the latest standards. My personal view is that by recycling that 100m stretch of trough, you are then locking in the current location of the station and various other aspects of the course, when you probably could do a better layout with modern elements if you just flattened it and stopped caring about a castle that looks like a motor inn.
  19. I thought the ride only ever had about 3 cars, and it eventually dwindled as the ride got older.
  20. Doesn't BRC get 40 min queues because its a single 6 person car?
  21. DW doesn't need another flat ride lol, but you are correct on the rest.
